Yes it's that time again another thread ! 😁

Sitting down at the beach car park. Got a coffee at the amusements. Was sitting outside but the seats are metal and freezing! 🥶 Sea is in and calm as anything. Looks glorious. One of this year's cygnets is bobbing along on the waves. It's almost fully grown already. Prob been kicked out by mum and dad. Gave ds2 a lift down with me for work. Got a plate of spag bol and garlic bread into him first 😄
Glorious day but wind is chilly.

Calm sea and a Cygnet already out on its own, aw bless , they grow so fast but it does feel like they get pushed out too early.

Football was a mixed bag , they wanted Everton to win because of their manager 😁 but Liverpool won but the second match Man city won and they wanted Arsenal to lose 😂.
Just had pizza for tea and a nice cuppa 😋 , cold here too just put the heating on 🥶

Actually got warmer as night went on. Weird weather!
Had my spag bol, very nice. Got choc chip muffins for afters. Actually not too shabby.
(Remembered the bread and got 4 rolls to boot 😄) Ready for bed early and just chilled.
Oh well at least one good result @DirtyGertiefromno30 😄

Need to go down street and get mould spray. I see some in bathroom again. It's never ending in there despite the fan going. 😡

Had a route march down with ds2 cos his long legs take bigger strides 🤣
Went to general store got mould killer, went to coop and got fruit barley juice (and a discounted Lindor egg 😉) Got a coffee at amusements and sat and watched the sea for a while. Gorgeous blue/green colour. Walked along harbour, saw a seal and some ducks. Sat on the seat 2/3 way up that damm hill and watched a huge boat come in to the side harbour. Like a big research boat, it just turned the corner into the sectioned off part of harbour like a tiny car! Amazing. Forced myself to push on home. I am so unfit it's embarrassing. Hopefully weather is turning and I can get out and walk more.
Having a sit down before I tackle the cake...arghhh forgot the cheats cream icing!

Your seaside stop sounds lovely though. Coffee, blue green sea, a seal and the boats , makes that walk worth it. And that hill would finish anyone off, so don’t be too hard on yourself 😁.

Discounted Lindor egg was a total win 😋
Mould is such a pain even with the fan on. Hopefully the spray sorts it out for a bit. We use the Astonish spray for mould and it's pretty goody tbf.
For the birthday 🎂 cake, keep it simple if you’re knackered. Quick butter icing if you’ve got the bits, or leave it plain and do it later. No stress.
Hope you had a proper sit down you are just getting over that virus as well.
We have been shopping to the charity shops , only bought 2 books unfortunately but there we are . Then off to Aldi , Tesco and Home Bargains to pick ups load of stuff on my list and l got it all thankfully 😁👏

Have sat on my btm since apart from getting the cake stuff all out and butter out freezer to defrost. Need to move !

Yesterday was just what was needed. Much cooler today, but still had washing out today and got 80% dry.

Didn't buy anything at the garden centre other than a hot drink @DirtyGertiefromno30 very restrained.

Ds2 got home and said "Oh you made a cake? I was gonna buy you one tomorrow"...typical. He was talking about when he tried to make one years ago when he was much younger and it wasn't as good as he had wanted it, when we were walking down into town. Bless him.

Not bad at all getting 80% dry with this weather either, it can’t make its mind up lately! Sometimes a wander round the garden centre and a hot drink is enough without coming home with more bits you didn’t plan on buying .

Just got a call from my cousin. My aunt died yesterday. Sucks for us but best thing for her as she has deteriorated in health last few months to a shell of her former self. Will miss her terribly though.

Didn't walk down street as ds wanted a big box of juice on offer but had a walk along seafront instead. Going to tackle the bathroom!

Oh @Thebookofcarolagain, I’m so sorry to hear about your Aunt. That’s such a hard mix of feelings isn’t it ?Knowing it’s a kindness for her in the end, but still feeling that deep loss. She meant a lot to you l know, and of course you’re going to miss her terribly bless you 🤗
It’s good you got out for that walk by the seafront though, that kind of fresh air can help clear your head a bit when everything is so heavy. And honestly, fair play tackling the bathroom after news like that , sometimes, keeping busy is exactly what’s needed.
It’s a lot to take in. Look after yourself lovely 🤗

Bathrooms done i managed to get some of the sealant round bath off but the rest is like concrete! Tried to fix loo seat again but its still wobbly. Might try one more time and if no sucess i am getting a new one!
Got chicken breasts in oven for tea. Just plain seasoned i just fancied plain old roast chicken.
Cake is decorated in its usual fashion. Did vanilla butter cream this time what a faff! 😄
Washer went on stupid mode again so had to faff around with that so was too late to hang it out.
(Lindor eggs were reduced again so got 2😉 shhh)

That sealant is awful once it sets @Thebookofcarolagain, you’ve done well getting any off. I’d give the loo seat one more go, but a new one might save you all the hassle 🙄
Plain roast chicken sounds perfect, simple just hits the spot. And buttercream is such a faff, but I’m sure the cake looks lovely , #when I'm 64 🤗
Typical washer timing as well and those reduced Lindor eggs definitely don’t count 😉😋🤣
We had quiche and salad tonight , 50% off the quiche in Aldi , a specially selected one and it was lovely. Cheddar Cheese , Spinach , Ricotta and pea quiche never had it before but l really liked it 😋

Thanks @DirtyGertiefromno30 me too. It seems 90% gone now. Only real problem is my lip split being so dry despite salve/cream and its still not healed. Never had a split in my lip take so long to heal before! Weird.
