Blooming heck those bags of compost are heavy! Moved the heukera. Then emptied 2 bags of compost and 1 and half bags of topsoil into top bed. Am knackered! Watered the heukera and yesterday's plants i forgot to water.

Definately coffee time.

Sorry I have been awol , but got back on Monday night , and its been full on with lots to sort out .
Had a nice time over in Tenerife , but its over and done with so quickly .
I have had to spend this afternoon complaining though , as we were so badly delayed flying out , we landed at midnight instead of 17.25 . So I have put in a claim for compensation ( hah , bet I dont get it , but if you dont ask , you dont get ) It was a very gentle time , didn't do much tbh .
So washing done - and yay we brought home some lovely weather - the last 2 days have been dry amd warm 😀
Back into routine with picking up twins from preschool , and DGS too .
Just about caught up now , thank goodness .
I managed a bit of gardening this afternoon too , trying to weed out grass growing around primroses and crocuses <pah>. The sweet peas that the twins sowed are showing through , but not the broad beans as yet . I also started cutting down the dead flower stalks that I leave over winter . Its starting to look a little tidier now :)

We had chicken tikka , naan, paneer side and onion bargees and lamb samosas ready meal from Aldi .

Sounds like you have been straight back into it with washing, preschool runs for the twins and DGS, and even a bit of gardening. Primroses and Crocuses are so cheerful. I love Sweet peas l must get DH onto them 🤗.Hopefully the Broad Beans will follow soon. Cutting back the old stalks always makes it look tidier DH has been busy , he even cut the grass !

Off to see Mum and not much else today l hope. Have done Mum 4 days in a row so my sister could have a few days away . Off tomorrow. Have enjoyed it tbh Mum has had a better spell these last few days thankfully.

Dry here today but rained last pm. Wind is getting up again though. Just stop!
Had a very lazy morning after 3 days of running around. Washing put away, kitchen tidied, wash on after i got moving and gonna clean fridge out. It's not actually bad so be easier now than later.
Ds2 off to work so just doing burgers for tea.
Glad your mum has been in good fettle this week @DirtyGertiefromno30 makes it so much more enjoyable when you visit.

Fridge is done, brought bin in, had a sarnie for lunch. There's actually some mac and cheese left so i will have that later and do ds2 a burger if he is hungry later. Ds1 is having takeaway as they have a special offer on just now.
Fridge looks empty! Need to get something out freezer for tomorrow i suppose.
Its getting much cooler now, damm just stop already.

Kitchens cleaned up and in my jammies for the night.
When I worked in Morrisons in early 2020s we were all over the shop to do jobs. M's started doing vulnerable people shopping so we were sent to collect thier orders. Oh joy that was fun if we didn't have something! We just had lists that were handed in or phoned in, not the proper computer orders 😁 My friend and i prefered clearing up the shelves. Taking all the empty boxes off and refacing the stock. Was a strangely relaxing way to spend your time, just doing your own thing, nobody looking over your shoulder. (Although some of the customers were dicks, would just push in front of you, no excuse me or anything)

It was @DirtyGertiefromno30 . Just tidying up and making it look nice. You could do down one side of an aisle and up the other and fill a bucket, then go into another aisle then by the time you finished that you could start at your previous one🤣 weirdly satisfying.

I think I have screwed up my car insurance didn't set up the cheaper one in time so my insurance has taken the money out. Sent an email and asked for refund but not sure if I can get a new one in time. Or if they will try to charge me £50 admin fee which will negate the whole damm thing. Arghhh why does this stupid stuff happen all at once? Thinking of too many things at once and forgetting the most important.😡
My life just seems one failure after another.
Not much point in going to bed too wound up.
I noticed the money taken when I got the notification. I sent the email then got up to go through to back door for a vape, forgot I had my heat pad on stood up walked round the table and the cord knocked over my wine glass. I was so flipping mad! Had that mess to clean up first, luckily didn't have that much in it and it was diluted.
Ds2 noticed something was wrong when he came home but I said I was fine. Not dumping it on him. He thinks it's his responsibility to look after me and all my cock ups. When I was talking about the stupid oven he said he would pay for a new one, no chance, he has his life to live, save his money and do stuff with it.
Arghhh I hate life sometimes.

They sort this kind of thing all the time. At worst it might be a small admin fee , which is annoying and a pita but it’s not a catastrophe and it’s certainly not a life failure. You are being hard on yourself 🤗
We’ve all done things like that and then felt ridiculously cross about it 🙄
Your life is not one failure after another at all. You are a brilliant Mum, very funny and practical and that's why your wonderful Ds2 is offering to help you. He is a great person and the apple didn't fall far from the tree . You had a bad day yesterday today will be so much better 🤗
I am having a lie in till half past 9. Not doing much today l am having a day off but l will do a bit of decluttering for the charity shop .
