Morning all.
Busy busy @bookbook hope you get time to sit down and relax today at some point. Hanging baskets will look fab once up and running.
No news is good news @DirtyGertiefromno30. Mornings are pretty busy on a ward so dont worry about nobody answering the phone.
I have job centre late morning then ds2 has dentist checkup this afternoon. Took a layer of cake out freezer yesterday so have to make butter icing for it later.

Washing is on, sunny here so fingers crossed.

I think you’re right @Thebookofcarolagain no news usually is good news, and hospital mornings are always such a whirlwind. Hopefully things are just busy there rather than anything worrying 👍🤞🙏
Sounds like you’ve got another full day ahead too with the job centre and dentist trip. Hope Ds2’s checkup goes smoothly and quickly. The cake sounds lovely as well, homemade butter icing always makes it extra nice 😋
Fingers crossed the sunshine stays for you so you can get the washing dry properly. Hope you manage to grab five minutes for yourself somewhere in between everything else .

Job centre done, went and voted too. Met the bin lorry but our bins at our end haven't been emptied! Bet the damm lorry mechanism broke again! Maybe it's just too full who knows. Hope they send another one!
Washing was put out before I left and still sunny but cool breeze.

Been over the hospital most of the day , saw the consultant and if the infection markers are down in the blood tomorrow they are going to discharge Mum home with oral antibiotics. She has aspiration pneumonia. Fingers crossed she can go home tomorrow.
I look forward to going back to normal tbh l am really tired now.

Morning all. Not a bad day so far, cloudy but dry.
I am kinda in a downer. It's my aunts funeral but I cant go cos of my stupid shoulders. They are doing thier thing and I cant drive if I can't look to the side or hold the steering wheel. Have spoken to my cousin, he understands as he has the same problem sometimes, there is a webcam for my cousin in Oz and he will try to get someone to send me the link. (He is a technophobe 😄) At least that way I can watch and raise a glass to her. I hate my useless body and it hates me.
Hope everyone has a better day than me.

Fgs I am stupid today! I made myself a tuna sandwich and then realised had chicken left over! Oh well plenty for kids.
Rained here for a while and blooming cold now but brighter! Go figure!

Fgs! Had to submit another photo for my driving licence. I had forgotten all about it was just waiting for it arriving. Got yet another threatening email. Was panicking i had been driving with no licence!
Just got confirmation back that it is done. I look like a serial killer !

Thank you re my Mum@Thebookofcarolagain, you are not stupid at all 😂 .Your head has obviously been full with everything going on bless you. A tuna sandwich won’t hurt for one day, and the chicken will still get eaten, so nothing wasted.
Your weather sounds miserable there too. One minute rain and freezing cold, next minute bright sunshine. It’s enough to make anyone feel out of sorts.
That driving licence thing would have panicked me as well. Those emails are so threatening and make you feel like you’ve done something awful. Thank goodness it’s sorted now and you can stop worrying about it. And don’t you dare worry about the photo either, literally nobody has ever looked nice on a driving licence or passport pictures. They all make us look either exhausted, haunted or a criminal 🤣

A friend said they looked like a crackhead on hers @DirtyGertiefromno30 So do i now except not emaciated! 🤣 I looked so young on my current obe! 😭
Didn't get the link but I think if he gets someone to send it i can watch it later. I know he was busy with his kids. Plus they were all leaving from my aunts house as he wanted the hearse to leave from there.

Have done sfa. Put my big succulent into the sink to soak and poured some water on top. Fingers crossed it's enough/not too much 😁😁 Took photos outside as I have clumps of pink bells in bottom border I need to move when they are passed to fill up with dahlias and other stuff. They look fab now but far too many for one bit.

At least you might still get to watch it later if someone sends the link over. It sounds really lovely him wanting the hearse to leave from your Aunt’s house though, very personal and meaningful. He probably did just have a lot going on l expect his mind was all over the place bless him .
And your garden honestly sounds beautiful already. Pink bells everywhere must look gorgeous, even if they are taking over a bit . They’ll probably split and move really well once they’ve finished flowering. Fingers crossed the succulent enjoys its spa treatment and doesn’t decide to dramatically rot out of spite 😱😂

As for tea tomorrow, mince pie sounds nice and easy. Could do mash and peas with it, or maybe use the mince for cottage pie if you can be bothered. Or do an easy jacket potato with cheese and beans. Another dead easy one would be pasta bake .
