One of those mixed up weather days @Thebookofcarolagain but you’ve still got a lot done. Car safely away from the seagulls is a win 🤣🤣
Sitting watching the sea with a coffee sounds lovely 🤗
Corned beef hash and stovies, proper comfort food. Never quite the same as when Mum made it though and you are right , @FridayNighFeelingdoesn't know what she is missing 🤣
And the flowers sound beautiful. That scent in the room later will be lovely 💐
Just had our corned beef hash it was yummy but l could not eat it all , l have forgotten how filling it is! 🤣

Had half my pizza, just a margarita but I added ham and used up some tomatoes. Should have frozen half first, I forgot it wasn't frozen. Put a load of bread in freezer ( I got a seeded loaf half price in aldi and i am the only one that eats it) but will have to empty it all out tomorrow and sort it out before I do chicken. CBA tonight.
Dishes done, tidied up, wash put away and in pjs for the night.

Pizza sounds good though, can’t go wrong with adding your own bits. Easily done forgetting it wasn’t frozen, but at least it’s used up. Good shout with the bread too😁
You’ve done loads today, no wonder you can’t be bothered with the freezer tonight. That can definitely wait till tomorrow along with the chicken. Nothing worse than forcing yourself when you’re already in your pjs and settled 🙄

DH had to have an Omeprazole he has indigestion from the Corned beef hash!
He should have stopped when he was stuffed like me but oh no eyes are bigger than his belly 😂

Started reading Montys dog book. He has a great way with words paints such pictures. And you hear it in his voice .

I am working up to that freezer clean out @DirtyGertiefromno30 . I am stiff as a tackit today. Smothered in brufen and taken painkillers and can now walk almost human like.😄 it drives me mad. i think the weather affects it all.
Washing is on, kitchen is tidied up and am
having a coffee and a biccie before I start.
Still drizzly and cold here, not brightening up at all. Bleurgh.

Sounds like you’ve had to push through that stiffness @Thebookofcarolagain, so it’s good the Brufen’s kicked in and you’re moving more normally bless you. The cold, damp weather really does get into the joints.Its unbelievable much it affects them there ought to be research into it!
You’ve still got plenty done though, washing on and kitchen sorted, so you’re already ahead. That coffee and biccie is well earned 😋
Hope you can ease into the freezer job and the weather brightens up a bit this drizzle is enough to drive anyone mad.
I have been good here , washed my hair, cleaned the bathroom and downstairs toilet , put a load of washing out in the vain hope it will dry 🤣 and cleaned and sorted both fridge freezers . Now having a cuppa and a couple of cheese and pickle sarnies. Am into pickle at the minute 😋
Oh and l hoovered downstairs ,😇

I wish I liked pickles and chutneys more @DirtyGertiefromno30 there are so many to chose from but not a fan. I love pickled beetroot though.
Have done the freezer and chopped up the chicken/left some breasts whole.. It all fitted in with a bit of chopping and changing things around. Phew! Be better once we start using the extra bread! Inventory done! Well done you doing 2 fridge freezers! Took some cauli out for my roast chicken dinner tomorrow.

That’s a really productive day @Thebookofcarolagain, no wonder you’re ready for a sit down 😁. Getting the freezer sorted and everything fitting back in is such a good feeling, and having an inventory will make life so much easier.
I get what you mean about pickles and chutneys , plenty of choice, but they are not for everyone. Pickled beetroot is a lovely exception though, that sweet tang is hard to beat. I love it when it's just been boiled too 😋
Your roast chicken tomorrow sounds perfect, especially with the cauliflower ready. And once the extra bread gets used up, it’ll be even more organised.
Cloudy and cool here too although the washing did dry thankfully, definitely a day to put your feet up.
Having cheese rolls and pickle for tea, wotsits and a cuppa 😋
Dh having beefburgers so he is happy 😁

I had a ham, cheese salad roll and some crisps at 2 so not making tea @DirtyGertiefromno30 . Can make ds2 something later if he wants but often he gets something at work.
Had a snooze late this afternoon, couldn't keep my eyes open! Very annoying.
Still cloudy but hasn't rained again. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Ds1 wanted to go into town to get new pillow at Argis so Il we went into B&M to get plumbers tape. A million tapes but not that! Grrr. Got a new sink plunger cos mine is really awkward to use.

Will order tape online.
Rained for a few minutes in town but still sunny here. Might get off my butt and plant anenomes. Coffee first.

Came to see Mum and she aspirated one of her tablets in front of me . She's fine but they had to call the Paramedics and she's going into hospital soon will have to have an x-ray and intravenous antibiotics so will be in a few days l expect. I am going in with her so will be out of signal for quite a few hours l will get back to you when l can . She's actually better now than she was believe it or not .

Aw thank you @FridayNighFeeling & @Thebookofcarolagain. We are waiting for the consultant and a chest x-ray. I am hoping they will send Mum straight back to the home tomorrow on antibiotics .

Fingers crossed @DirtyGertiefromno30 . Hope you all dont have to wait much longer.

9 hours in total but Mum is sorted at least and she's in my local hospital which is 3 mins away from where we live . I told them to ring us if anything is wrong in the night fingers crossed she is ok .

Just the usual crowded diary here , but at least today , I am at home and can get some housework done! I have the biggest pile of ironing ...
I have hung out washing ,the weather has been dry this week , after one night of rain , so good going really I suppose .
I got my hanging baskets planted up , and they are settling in stood on buckets in the greenhouse .
I need to get the the post office , make some breakfast things for DGS - I will freeze them to take on Saturday ( we are at DD1's then to put up shelves/pictures/toilet roll holders/towel rails etc) oh , and pick up DT's !

It sounds like you’ve got another very full but productive day ahead @bookbook. At least being at home makes it a bit easier to tackle things at your own pace, even if that ironing pile is glaring at you!
You’ve done really well with the washing and getting the hanging baskets planted up too. I bet they’ll look lovely once they’re all hanging up.
Hopefully you can fit in a cuppa somewhere between the post office, housework and all the running around!

Just waiting for visiting hours to go and see Mum . They have 5 phone numbers one for each bay and l have rung every single one of them several times and they will not answer .
I did leave my number and emphasized they were to ring me and l haven't heard anything so that's good .
