Kooks by David Bowie - transports me back to France in the late 90’s, singing along to it in the car with dh when I was heavily pregnant and we were waiting for ds to arrive.

The band Weezer has a song called Heart Songs - all about the songs that meant something to the writer through his life. One day when I had nothing much to do I typed out a list of my own heart songs. It hasn't been updated for the past few years. I might update it tomorrow.

One that's just occurred to me - I've Had The Time Of My Life by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warner which seemed to get played as the "slow dance" at every bloody 18th and wedding reception in the 90s. It evokes miserable memories of being a fat nerdy teenager and seldom having anyone to dance with!
