Walking On Sunshine - Katrina and The Waves

This has such a strong memory for me. Summer of 85. It was a fantastic summer and I had a ball. Young love, great holiday, O levels done, first Saturday job.

Omg so many. Music YouTube properly nailed it with me a couple of weeks ago. I could have saved the playlist as summer camp 01-04. Blink182, weezer, wheatus, green day, Nickelback, goo goo dolls...

Wires - By Athlete.

Reminds me of losing mum, running down corridors, through automatic doors 😢 still makes me cry.

Just listened to this for the first time.

Donna Summer, I feel love , just reminds me of teen years and going to the local youth club where it was always on and Sir Duke, Stevie Wonder, heard it belting out of the PA system on way into attending first football match

We've Only Just Begun, by The Carpenters. It's such a sweet song, full of hope and optimism and excitement.

It reminds me of my wedding day and how I had to my whole adult life ahead of me to live. That was almost 50 years ago and now most of my life is behind me. I've had some wonderful times. Life is a beautiful and precious thing indeed.

Lots of songs take me to particular memories, like my life has a soundtrack, play something off it and I’m back there.
One song I can’t listen to is Cheap Thrills by Sia. If it’s on, I have to skip or mute because it was the song playing on the radio as I drove to my dads side when he died. It makes me want to scream and my stomach knots every time I hear it 🥹

I absolutely love this version of Ave Maria.
It reminds me of my Gran.
I have watched it so many times.

People won’t know mine but anything from the hoodoo gurus. They were an Aussie rock band in the 80s, when I was at secondary school. They are touring in Europe and I’m going to see them. I’m BEYOND excited.

Oh yeah. One of my favorites. 🥰

Come Anytime and Wipeout are top 10 hit of the 80s. I’ll die on that hill.
