I'm always confused by the job categories. Teacher and newly qualified doctor together, fine. Commercial traveller, healthcare assistant and paramedic together? I'd have put paramedic with teacher as both require degrees and pay similar. I'm a nurse and selected 'intermediate professional' (along with the teacher) but my job is closer to a paramedic in terms of training and pay.

I can't classifiy my job, either.
How bad is it that I had to look up what is "homeware" ?

Our main earner is a software developer - some layers of responsibility but largely lateral, rather than hierarchical. I go for intermediate professional. In other places the descriptions can correspond to typing pool, so MN's clarification is more clarifying than others!
