Done! 😆

I love the name Gareth, love waistcoats and wish England the best of luck tonight and on Sunday.

However, I’m Scottish so am not allowed to take part in this.

MyWaterButtIsEmpty · 11/07/2018 10:58

My brother's name! He has been known as Gaz since I was a toddler. Subsequently, my name (Tracey) became 'Traz' ConfusedHmmWink

Skarossinkplungerridesagain · 11/07/2018 13:08

It doesn't say it's just for parents but on the ages of children question there's no option for no children.

JustineBMumsnet · 11/07/2018 13:36

@Skarossinkplungerridesagain this question doesn't require an answer, so if none of the options apply to you, please leave the question blank Smile

Not keen on the name Gareth but he wears the waistcoat very well.
You need the right build to wear one.
Navy on top of light blue also goes very well.

Shootfirstaskquestionslater · 11/07/2018 15:46

Done 😊

Not a fan of the name Gareth, can't do the survey as I'm welsh however I have been supporting England throughout the World Cup and really hope they win tonight against Croatia #comeonengland and love a man in a waistcoat. Looks smart and classy.

lynmilne65 · 11/07/2018 16:01

My son is Gareth, come on the lads !!!

xFreePeaceSweetx · 11/07/2018 16:21

My first love was a Gareth. He was sweet and kind. He didn't wear a waistcoat though.

scaevola · 11/07/2018 16:31

bloodwise.org.uk/fundraising/campaigns/waistcoat

Gemma, wife of SKY sports presenter Simon Thomas, died of leukaemia last November, only days after diagnosis. There is a Bloodwise fundraising aspect to this, which has probably been largely drowned out. But I hope it's not totally overlooked.

Gesu · 11/07/2018 16:59

don't like the name Gareth at all. Though waistcoats on men do look good esp if the suit is well tailored.

Amshook · 11/07/2018 17:21

Gareth is a very underrated name I reckon, so I’m hoping that what with Mr. Southgate being an inspirational manager and generally decent guy (hugging tearful Columbian player who messed up his turn in the penalty shoot out ), there will be a new generation of little Gareths sprouting up in tribute.

As for waistcoats I think it depends on who’s wearing it. Paunchy stomach = not a great look, but on Olivia Palermo or Peter Capaldi in Dr Who to name my favourite examples, they are very cool indeed. 😀.

RandomlyChosenName · 11/07/2018 17:24

He does wear a waistcoat well. And Gareth is a nice name (and always has been).

Come On England!

It's Coming Home!!!

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 11/07/2018 17:32

I'm English but live in Wales, so I'm not allowed an opinion.

BathshebaKnickerStickers · 11/07/2018 18:01
