Dear Testers

Many thanks for trying the new facial moisturiser from Olay called "Total Effects Wake Up Wonder".

Here are the feedback questions: click here.

Every tester who completes this survey (regardless of what they say!) will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky winner will receive £250 (cheque).

Thanks and good luck

Umm it's in the product testing section, how could you not realise u were testing a product?

JodieO · 12/06/2010 15:44

It wasn't clear that it wasn't just a test of a product they were about to sell rather than an actual proper test that hadn't been used on any person before. If that's what Bosch meant. There's no need to be so factious. God, some people are so bloody eager to jump down your throat on here. Unless you work for them why do you care either way? Jesus.

JodieO · 12/06/2010 15:45

*facetious

MisSalLaneous · 12/06/2010 15:52

I don't think that's correct. I'm sure it's tested loads before it reaches this stage - no company would risk testing a completely untested product for the first time in this way. Whether or not I like this product (I don't hate it, btw, it's ok), Olay is a professional company and won't expose themselves in this way without people signing proper disclaimers, which none of us did.

JodieO · 12/06/2010 15:56

^ that's what I thought until I read what Bosch posted. Hope you're right MisSal

MisSalLaneous · 12/06/2010 16:00

Jodie, I will bet good money on it. I wouldn't worry if I were you. Enjoy your pregnancy!

JodieO · 12/06/2010 16:10

Thank you, I was worrying!

louii · 14/06/2010 14:56

Hadn't meant to post it 3 times, hardly jumping down you throat.
If I worked for them I would hardly be complaining about there product!
All the ingredients will have underwent a lot of testing before reaching us, would assume it's a new formula made up of ingredients that have maybe not been used together before.

Haliborange · 14/06/2010 15:01

I'm sure that this cream will have been tested in a lab.
What we have been doing is giving feedback for the "12 out of 3000 busy mums said it didn't give them spots" blurb for the adverts, surely?

AnnMumsnet · 15/06/2010 16:51

Hi - those who were worried about the test - please don't worry - Olay say "The product has been out in the US for many months and so has already been tested / used by a large group of women".

They add "If any MN users are worried then they should contact the dedicated consumer relations team on 0800 917 7197 who will be able to reassure / advise on what they can do"

HTH
Thanks for all the feedback

FWIW I have gone past the spotty stage now although now seem to be entering a midafternoon oil slick phase

AnnMumsnet · 15/06/2010 18:43
