Many thanks for trying the new facial moisturiser from Olay called "Total Effects Wake Up Wonder".

Here are the feedback questions: click here.

i only got it last week

cyb · 04/06/2010 11:51

they are clearly desperate to get our views for the new ad campaign

like fishtachio's

LilRedWG · 04/06/2010 11:55

Done - said I like as a moisturiser but did not make skin look younger. Would use again but not at that price.

LilRedWG · 04/06/2010 11:57

I think they may have to find a new focus group for their ad campaign - they'll be getting too honest a feedback from here I'm guessing.

cyb · 04/06/2010 11:57

yes 13.99 tooo much

pudding25 · 04/06/2010 11:58

Done. Too pricey and made my skin a bit spottier. I did like the fact it was light and also the applicator.

maxybrown · 04/06/2010 12:08

I have never spent that money on any "product" in my life - BUT I do not wear or buy any make up or really perfume so would treat myself to some because it made my skin feel better if nothing else!! And sice I had DS my skin has been crabby. So I would buy it yes. Wonder how long it lasts? I have used it everday so far....

belledechocolatefluffybunny · 04/06/2010 13:10

Done. I wouldn't buy it, it's too thick so wouldn't last very long. I currently use chanel, it's twice the price but is a 50ml bottle that lasts absolutely ages.

AvadaKedavra · 04/06/2010 13:57

Same as SparkyMalarky for me. I felt very young looking at the Clearasil in Superdrug today

EccentricaGallumbits · 04/06/2010 14:36

Done. my blotches have just about faded

ApplesinmyPocket · 04/06/2010 14:52

Done mine. I actually liked the stuff. I think they'll be lucky to get £13.99 for it though. For that price I'd want a handsome young slave thrown in to apply it for me and tell me how gorgeous I looked afterwards.

thecatatemygymsuit · 04/06/2010 14:55

Done - I think?
I would buy it but as a primer, it's not rich or moisturising enough for my skin.

oopsandbabycoconut · 04/06/2010 14:57

JackBauer · 04/06/2010 16:11

Done, after a pause for me to pick myself up off the floor at £13.99

I also did not mince words. It was nice, for a freebie, but no spf and that price means I wouldn't even consider it I'm afraid. Made no difference with me putting it on every morning when I am sporadic at best with my normal aldi version...

AnnMumsnet · 04/06/2010 16:11

TheChewyToffeeMum - yes you were, twice! thanks

Done.

I did not like it - greasy and horrid by the end of the day, also no SPF.

CheeryCherry · 04/06/2010 16:30

Done. Needed far more than recommended but quite liked it, though too pricey for me. I agree they may need to ask another group to survey it, we prob won't give them a good enough % of 'likes'!
