Dear Testers

Many thanks for trying the new facial moisturiser from Olay called "Total Effects Wake Up Wonder".

Here are the feedback questions: click here.

Every tester who completes this survey (regardless of what they say!) will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky winner will receive £250 (cheque).

Have used it whilst on holiday last week bu won't be using again or buying. It made my skin feel tingly with an unpleasant burn type sensation - the mint? It feel really sore for quite a while after applying.

Cicatrice · 06/06/2010 19:28

Done.

chaostrulyreigns · 06/06/2010 20:49

Have done the survey.

Was a week long enough?

Fimbo · 06/06/2010 20:57

Done. It will be interesting to see if anyone who was negative about it actually wins the £250

bratnav · 06/06/2010 21:10

Done, not madly impressed, my usual moisturiser is much better for my skin, has spf15 and is half the price.

weepootle · 06/06/2010 21:23

Done. It felt nice but didn't spread well so needed loads. Do not look any younger.

MaryBS · 07/06/2010 08:16

Hulababy, that's interesting, because I had an experience like that as well, with a burning sensation and my face went red! I wasn't sure if I'd just caught the sun, so didn't comment on it. But on the days where it happened, I'd used sun cream AND been swimming, so wonder if there was some sort of reaction either with the sun tan cream, or the chlorine in the pool??? This may be worth flagging up???

Hulababy · 07/06/2010 12:04

MaryBS - had also been using suncream, although applied the Olay in a morning before the suncream. Had also been in the sun a lot (was holidaying in vegas and it was VVVV hot). But my other moisturiser didn't have the same affect.

Yes, my face went red where it was applied too.

Finbar · 07/06/2010 12:18

I did my feedback before reading all your comments here - I was really interested to see how many others also got the reddness of skin/pimples reaction too. At least we're consistent!

I will stick to their Total Effects with SPF at a better price.

MisSalLaneous · 07/06/2010 12:27

Done. I thought the packaging was more suitable to a cheaper product. I liked the smell. With regards to the breakouts - I do wonder if it is because the trial period is too short. I lucked out this time, but I have to admit I've used products in the past that made my skin worse to start off with, but once the breakout went away, my skin was actually better than before.

DecorHate · 07/06/2010 12:30

Has anybody had an improvement in terms if making their skin younger looking?

MaryBS · 07/06/2010 12:49

I think my face looks less wrinkly than before, not that I have many wrinkles anyway.

Hula - same here, put on the Olay first, then the sun cream later. Piz Buin once a day, if that matters. Unlike you though, it wasn't that hot where I was (the Vendee region of France).

CMOTdibbler · 07/06/2010 13:09

I quite liked it - didn't make me look any younger, but my pores are better. An increase in tiny spots, but that seems to be over now. Made foundation go on nicely

Hulababy · 07/06/2010 13:09

I was using a once a day too - P20

flier · 07/06/2010 13:11

done. It really has done wonders for my skin, no breakouts whatsoever, and younger looking skin. Result!
Agree its a bit pricey though

Goober · 07/06/2010 13:28

Did.

IndigoSky · 07/06/2010 13:32

Have gone back to my old face creams over the weekend. Ahhh, what a relief! Spotty effects are going already.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 07/06/2010 13:37

had a massive allergic reaction to it.

SanctiMoanyArse · 07/06/2010 15:01

Um.

I completed this with effusive praise yesterday, but in the past few dyas have started to use in conjunction with Olay Pore Minimising Wash and have an outbreak of spots worse than anything I had in my teens. Clearly this isn't a non-comedogenic product is it? Shame, I react with allergies to so many things: thought i'd found soemthing great here. Instead I shall be horribly gruesome at a family wedding if it doesn't clear up soon.

MaryBS · 07/06/2010 15:20

ROFLMAO and PMSL, had to share this:

Oil of Olay slick causing fresher, younger-looking fish

hertsnessex · 07/06/2010 16:08

can you check if mine went as i done it from my phone

Ingles2 · 07/06/2010 16:28

done... added my spotty experience

whoopstheregoesmymerkin · 07/06/2010 17:20

done, I went all spotty teen skin too. Perhaps this was intentional

Lulumaam · 07/06/2010 17:38

decorhate i am going to continue using the cream until it's finished, i think 1 week is too short a time to see if it does make you look younger. Just glad it has not made me horrendously spotty.

MizDemeanor · 07/06/2010 18:12

Done, another spotty outbreak here, and I don't look any younger
