We’re looking for 150 Mumsnet users who live in London to test out Zapp, an app which delivers all your essentials in minutes, 24/7.

  • Selected testers will be given £15 credit to use on Zapp to buy products of their choice, delivered straight to their door.
  • Testers will be asked to give their feedback via a thread on Mumsnet and a short survey.
  • All testers who feedback will be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Here’s what Zapp has to say:
“Run out of nappies at 3 in the morning? Haven’t had time to go to the shops to pick up dinner? Or simply just need a glass of wine after a long day? Zapp is here to save the day.

Choose from over 2,000 curated items, delivered in 20 minutes or less, with no minimum order value and free delivery over £30. You look after the kids, let Zapp look after you.”

If you’re interested in taking part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck!

It's open to Londoners only. Shock. Grin

Hopeislost · 01/02/2022 19:43

Sounds great, have signed up!

Turnitupto11 · 01/02/2022 20:03

It's always London ... Hmm

mayflower21 · 01/02/2022 22:49

Done! Hopefully my area applies

Fillybuster · 01/02/2022 23:33

Would love to give this a try!

astorsback · 02/02/2022 06:48

Sigh. London only.

HollowTalk · 02/02/2022 11:39

Is this like Gorillas in Manchester?

ldn7813 · 02/02/2022 12:05

Just signed up, hopefully get pickedSmile

gogohm · 02/02/2022 12:26

London, but only fashionable post codes no doubt. Thankfully the local coop does deliver and no need to curate anything ... since when did shopping need curating Hmm

Shannith · 02/02/2022 14:51

Signed up - I hope it covered my area as this would be really helpful as a non driver.

Shannith · 02/02/2022 14:52

Oh. London only. Well that's a fat lot of good.

Only London 😔where there is unlimited access to shops, unlike those of us who live rural.

SummerBluez · 02/02/2022 17:17

Bloody hell, if you're so desperate to use Zapp move to London?
It's like me moaning that the Tube doesn't run in Lincolnshire and it's only "bloody London."
It's a London service.

Shannith · 02/02/2022 17:55

I lived in London for 25 years thanks - North and South and worked in Soho. And if I still lived there I've have about 20 of their competitors to chose from.

I'm hardly the highlands now - Surrey but I had a brief moment of hope this might not just be London. Oh well.

Shannith · 02/02/2022 17:58

I'm tempted to ask if you meant to be so rude. But I think you did.

Relax people - it's a thread about a grocery delivery service - possibly the most mild subject I can think on on MN.

SummerBluez · 02/02/2022 18:10

@Shannith

I absolutely did mean to be so rude, yes. Even threw in a tinkly laugh.

Toanewstart22 · 04/02/2022 14:28

It’s a bizarre contradiction
I totally get why you’d limit initially to London to see if this kind of thing is going to be a success. I’d do exactly the same if I was there
But
I lived in London for 10 years
Something is open ALL the time. Any hour of any day and usually within a ten minute walk. So the need for something like this is much much less than outside of London

Toanewstart22 · 04/02/2022 14:30

* if you meant to be so rude*

The worst expression on mumsnet. Makes me squirm!

Jobseeker19 · 05/02/2022 08:16

You could start a delivery service in your area and then pay mumsnet to advertise it.

VeganCow · 05/02/2022 19:43

Says online that it covers other areas apart from London, like Bristol, Manchester and Cambridge. But it doesn't seem like it does after I signed up to find my area isn't covered.

MajorCarolDanvers · 13/02/2022 12:23

Why can't you put 'London only' in the thread title so the rest of country know not to bother.

jadey1991 · 13/02/2022 20:07

I've just signed up. Hopefully I get picked.

LargeInCharge · 15/02/2022 15:50

I’ve signed up.

Michaela1989 · 26/02/2022 13:51

Freaking out.

Didn’t know where else to come to to be honest my doctors think I’m being a hypercondriact and there’s nothing to worry about. But I feel something is very wrong. I’ve been back to the doctors 3 times now and they’re still adamant I’m fine. My left boob is twice the size. Very hot. Very swollen very red and is stinging like mad. They originally diagnosed non lactating mastitis. And I’ve had 3 lots of antibiotics now and it’s not cleared it so I’m my mind it’s not that. My man died of inflammatory breast cancer and I just feel now they’re not taking me seriously. They won’t even put me down for a scan. Is it worth going private ? I’m not sure how to ad pictures.
