Non tester: definately the dreaded 'hair wash' and shampoo getting in eyes with my two little ones

We really liked testing these products. DD is 10 months and a bit of a monkey for settling at night. These products seem to be helping her calm down and she's been going to sleep a lot quicker since using them!

  • Overall, what did you like best about the Little Angels bedtime bath range? Which was your favourite product in the range and why?

We really liked the body lotion and the body wipes. The body lotion smells lush and has really sorted out the dry skin on her legs. The body wipes are great, really big and great for freshening her up in the morning before she is dressed. Really didn't like the spray on oil, very sticky and didn't absorb very well. I've used the bath products for just over a week now and a few people in our family have commented how nice she smells which is good.

Would you buy the products again and would you recommend the products to a friend or family member?

Yes definitely! We don't normally shop in Asda but would go out of my way to go get some more of these. I like my sleep too much so anything that helps me achieve more is well worth it going out of my way to get hold of Grin

Tester.

I really loved these products. They have a lovely subtle scent that isn't too overpowering and is relaxing for bedtime. I tested these when bathing my DD5 and DS 6mo, they both have sensitive skin and these products didn't cause any irritation at all.

I particularly liked the large wipes which are good for wiping down baby DS on non bath days, leaving him clean and smelling lovely. I also liked the body mist which we used for a quick baby massage after bedtime, I found it absorbed quickly and wasn't too oily. DD also loved the lotion for after her bath.

I found the bath toys to be good, DD enjoyed showing DS how to play with these, which he enjoyed, keeping them both entertained during bath time. They toys were also good as being plastic they dried quickly and didn't take up too much space as they were stackable.

I would definitely recommend these products and would buy them again. The only thing I wouldn't buy again is the storage bag as I couldn't get the suckers to stick so just used it to store the toys in the cupboard instead.

Thank you for letting me test these.

Biggest hurdle is brushing DDs hair before she demands a bottle 😆 if it's not brushed while wet it just won't sit right!

I was impressed with this range - thank you so much for letting me try them!

The packaging was lovely, nice 'soft' colours / smooth feel etc. Totally in line with the products which seemed gentle on skin and soothing. They had a nice light fragrance too.

I think my favourite product was the bubble bath. Both our DC love bath time especially if there are loads of bubbles though in the past we have been reluctant to use any bubble bath due to sensitive skin prone to dry patches. However, we had no problems whatsoever and it 'bubbled' well making for happy children!

The product least liked was the massage mist. I tried to use it a couple of times but found it quite greasy and more of a faff than beneficial.

The toys went down well though the bath toy holder wouldn't stick!! There seemed to be a fault with one of the suckers which just wouldn't stay stuck to anything (bath / wall / tiles). This was a real shame as we would have definitely made use of it.

Overall I would recommend this range of products especially as being from Asda, they are likely to be easily available and reasonably priced.

Thanks again! Smile

non tester,my problem is the little dog not getting in the bath with the kids he loves water. have to shut bathroom door firmly at bathtime

Biggest hurdle is getting my four month old to sit still in the bath. He throws himself all over the place in excitement. I sing to distract him!
Getting him to stay asleep in his cot is the next hurdle..dark room and good bedtime routine slowly getting us somewhere though

My 7mo has eczema and crazy itchy skin - he just rakes his body with his little claws. We've found it helps to put a bib on him in the bath to protect his front where he scratches the most and then it just doubles up as a flannel to wash him with when he's done playing

Biggest bedtime hurdle is trying to get my baby to sleep on her own or stay asleep as I transfer her from my arms to her crib

The biggest hurdle was keeping them amused whilst in the bath long enough to get the days 'embellishments' out of hair, hands and creases, I bought some bath toys, and I play some rub a dub dub music in the bathroom, however out of all of they toys I have bought the favourite is the empty bubble bath bottle which makes a lovely whooshing sound when we squirt it.

Elliepurplestar · 06/04/2018 10:57

Non tester: biggest bath time hurdle is brushing my daughters thick hair when having a bath, it really hurts her so we put on lots of conditioner and brush it then.

Beach11 · 06/04/2018 19:05

Non tester-
Our biggest hurdle is trying to make sure ds & dd do not flood the bathroom with their splashing & wave making. When it is time to get out they both always want an extra 5 mins splashing.
They have to take it in turns to get out first. The bath process takes so long that we try to give them showers in the week

Royalsteph · 06/04/2018 19:44

Our biggest bath and bed time hurdle is actually getting them all bathed and into bed. I have four dc who all love the water, so trying to get them into the bath for a quick wash is impossible they all refuse to come out. The older three then run around the house naked trying to dry off. Good times

Zooeymama123 · 06/04/2018 20:04

Non tester: biggest hurdle in our house is getting them up the stairs! We overcome it by getting them upstairs well in advance so they play in their room for a bit first. It's not so much of a battle then!

ilovekitkats · 06/04/2018 20:53

Non tester. Biggest hurdle is nit actually having a bath. DC prefers a bath to a shower but has to have a bath at granny’s house as a treat.

hannahphoenix · 07/04/2018 09:37

NON TESTER - mine is getting my daughters hair washed she hates water on her face. She wont use a shampoo shield or jug so now we have put some stars on the ceiling and pretend to count them so i can pour the shampoo off with a sponge

The biggest hurdle I have is the time it takes to actually get to bed after reading. There is always something - i need another wee, I want a particular soft toy, I need a plaster for this teeny cut etc etc

My biggest hurdle is the fear of them getting soap in their eyes when washing their hair, I switched to ASDA Little Angels bedtime bath range from the market leader around 3 months ago, and I was so impressed with the fragrance, and how my DS 'smelled' when we snuggled up. He still wears his 'shampoo' cap to prevent suds going into his eyes, however when we have splashed together when I put the bath toys in any water and suds on his face does not affect him at all.

Biggest bathtime hurdle for us is combing through two little girls very curly hair! Cannot be done with dry hair. Tangle teaser and a bucket load of conditioner on each and lots of bath toys and bubbles as a distraction 😂

Jinglesplodge · 07/04/2018 15:41

Non-tester - our biggest bathtime hurdle is getting him out of the bath again when we're done! My 3 year-old loves the bath: he has one every night before bed and would happily stay in there for hours if we let him. There's a fair amount of inventing games to get him to leave when it's time for PJs and bed.

ToriiaLouise · 07/04/2018 18:10

First of all, I was surprised at how much we were actually given. I only expected 3-4 bottles of bath time stuff but we ended up with loads of additional stuff including bath time toys and some really nice wipes.

  • Overall, what did you like best about the Little Angels bedtime bath range? Which was your favourite product in the range and why?

I really liked the wipes, they smelt nice and were lovely to wipe over my child, really cooling and nice to use. The boats were really fun to play with as well.

-Would you buy the products again and would you recommend the products to a friend or family member?

Yes I'd buy some of them again, the wipes will definitely be bought again as they were so nice to use. Some of the products weren't that strong smelling but still did a good job. However, if it was a reasonable price I'd definitely recommend.

NauticalDisaster · 07/04/2018 21:41

Non-tester - my biggest hurdle is water out of the bathtub and on the floor! I have yet to overcome this... yelllung doesn't seem to work.

Thanks for choosing my 2 year old and I to test these products!

- Overall, what did you like best about the Little Angels bedtime bath range? Which was your favourite product in the range and why?

The whole range smelt really nice. We particularly liked the bedtime bath. It was nice and bubbly which impressed my toddler and she loved scooping them up with the bath jug. The bath jug has come in handy for washing her hair which she usually hates. It has a flexible lip that moulds to the forehead stopping water from pouring into her eyes. The washcloths were a great idea and would be very handy when travelling. The bedtime lotion smelt lovely and made my daughters skin nice and smooth.

The toys were great, and were handy in encouraging my toddler up for her bath as she had all these things to play with! The toy net is good but one of the suckers holding it up keeps coming off which is annoying!

The only product we didn't like was the massage oil mist as we found it quite greasy. It might be better suited for babies and doing baby massage etc, but was a nightmare on a toddler.

-Would you buy the products again and would you recommend the products to a friend or family member?

Yes I will definitely be buying more of the washcloths as I thought these were a great idea, and will be recommending these to others.

I would also be buying the bedtime bath again as it was nice and bubbly!

We really enjoyed trying these products. All of them had a lovely smell to them. I particularly liked the bath bubbles and the shampoo. Her hair felt so soft after using the shampoo. She loved playing with the bath toys especially the little boats. I also found the blue jug useful and had no problems with the toy net. The wipes were ok and I think would be useful if away from home but I don't think I would buy them regularly. I

Twomonkeysandcounting · 08/04/2018 18:35

I also liked the lotion as it was easy to rub in and didn't need a lot of it. I found the bath mist a little too greasy but my older son loved it!

I would recommend these products, I think its a great range and I would buy most of these items.
