My DS has severe eczema so I was a bit hesitant to try this product in case it causes his eczema to flare up. But I was so shocked to see that this actually cleared his eczema! His skin now is so much better, I can't believe it! We have been using a lot of different steroids and emollients but nothing worked that long until we tried this. I'm so glad we got a free sample. We have been using it for a week now and fingers crossed his skin is clear!!

I did find it very nourishing for my baby's skin, I found her skin stayed mostrisured longer than it would with her normal lotion.

Definitely. I'd tried a couple of different baby lotions, but they didn't seem to do anything other than sit on the skin surface.

Not surprised. I have been prescribed regular/adult AVEENO lotion and I was aware of the natural ingredients. It's also a fairly old recipe for skin complaints - oatmeal baths etc. It's reassuring because you're always worried about what you're putting on their delicate skin.

Yes. It was long-lasting. His skin felt moisturised after 24 hrs. He lost those tight shiny looking dry bits.

Initially I would have said yes, but only for small areas due to the much higher price. However, I definitely will continue to use it because you don't need very much and it probably works out cheaper than using thicker applications of a cheaper lotion.

I have tried so many different creams for my daughters extremely dry skin and nothig has come as close to this in soothing her skin it is actually amazing. She would spend all day scratching at her skin as it would be so dry, not even prescribed creams from the docters made a difference. However, after just 3 days of using this cream i can see a REAL difference in her skin. Very impressed.

In most ways I loved this lotion. It certainly feels moisturising, while non-greasy, and absorbed fairly easily. However, my one objection is the smell, which reminds me of baby wipes. Is this supposedly a baby smell?! Most Aveeno products just have a very subtle, quite pleasant oaty smell. This seemed crudely perfumed. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this as an effective moisturiser.

Yes, it was quite nourishing on my baby's skin.

No, as I use Doublebase on my baby's very dry skin. Aveeno is certainly good, but could not beat Doublebase!

Not really, I was aware that a lot of oat related stuff went into Aveeno products anyway.

Not 24 hours. It did moisturise my baby's skin a lot LONGER than other moisturising creams, but definitely not 24 hours.

Oh yes!! No creaminess/stickiness about a minute after it was applied.

It was definitely soothing, so I would say there was fast (as in immediate) relief, but not very long lasting.

Nope, as I find nothing beats Doublebase at keeping my baby's skin nourished, soft and smooth, though I must say Aveeno comes a close second.

Yes, I noticed a marked improvement in how moisturised my baby's skin was. His skin was soft and supple and lasted longer.

Yes definitely, it lasts longer and more goes a long way than other products I've used. Also it doesn't smell as chemical or as potent as other products.

As I have previously used Aveeno on myself I was not but I am glad that they do.

Yes, my son has patches of dry skin and find this is the only product that works. It also soothed my dry hands when I put the product on him.

Yes, I definitely would. I love Aveeno products and this has made me switch to the baby products as well as the adult ones.
