This is the feedback thread for the 500 Mumsnetters who have been testing brand new range of cold-pressed baby food, My First Savsé.

Here’s what Guka, the founder of Savsé has to say: “When we looked at manufactured baby food, we realised babies weren’t getting the nutrients they deserved. Refusing to feed my own child pasteurised product, I wanted to push boundaries and create the freshest baby food possible. After all, real food isn’t just for adults.

This is why we created My First Savsé – Europe’s first cold-pressed, HPP baby food that’s as good as homemade. Unlike heat pasteurised baby food – which experiences a shocking 40% reduction in nutritional value – with My First Savsé the nutritional value of our 100% Organic, Grade A fruit and veg is never* compromised.

*Source: Fruselva Laboratories, July 2017 (tests carried out vs. heat pasteurised competitor x)”

Also from My First Savsé: “By cold-pressing our fruit and veg we don’t strip the goodness, replacing heat pasteurisation in favour of non-thermal High Pressure Processing (HPP) to ensure all vital nutrients are locked into each pouch, removing any nasties without compromising on taste or quality.

A busy parent will have to make a million compromises on a daily basis, but quality nutrition for their baby should never be one of them. However, with 1 in 4 parents unable to prepare homemade baby food due to work pressures, many have been forced to rely on heat pasteurised options bought in-store, with a sell by date often older than the babies themselves! But compromise no more. Our brand new cold-pressed baby food range, My First Savsé, has solved the problem - because babies deserve real food too.

Unlike heat pasteurised baby food, you won’t find My First Savsé in the baby aisle - oh no. You’ll find it in the chiller, alongside all the other fresh products!”

Testers, once the products are finished, please answer the below questions as well as leaving any other feedback you have:

1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
2. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
3. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
4. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
5. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

We’d also love to see some photos of your little one testing My First Savsé cold-pressed baby food, so please share on the thread if you can.

If you’d like to share your experience on social media, please do using the hashtag #myfirstsavse

All testers who complete the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

  1. Also did not know cold pressed baby food available and will purchase in future.
  2. My son loved all flavours particularly the beetroot one!
  3. Would prefer if there were ones of a rougher texture
4.I would purchase again as a treat or if on special offer 5. 3.
shakeyourcaboose · 22/08/2017 18:39

Sorry 3- def more interesting flavours than other brands out there

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

I wasn't aware of this. It really depends on the price.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

Thr Beetroot one was my 9 month old's favourite and my least favourite! I wanted to try them all too.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I forgot to shake the first one so it was really really watery. Maybe an obvious "shake me" note on the pack would be a good reminder for us sleep deprived parents. I liked that the food was fresh and there was no added sugar.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why? I would purchase it because it would have more nutrients but it does depend on the price.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why? I would definitely recommend as my little boy enjoyed all of the pouches he tried.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

Yes I did know about chilled pet food, because I have a dog (but never bought anything from there for him)
Knowing that there is chilled baby food available now, wont change my way of shopping,as if I want my baby to eat something fresh I make it from scratches, when I want "food to go", I buy it from baby aisle, as I dont need to keep it in fridge.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
He liked all of them but pure apple and the one with kiwi the most
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I think they should make some pouches with meat, something you could serve your baby for dinner and something with chunky bits for older babies.
My First Savse is more expensive campares to other brands available in the supermarkets. Packaging is simple and smart which I think is a good thing.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
Not really as they are quite expensive for a pouches and not usefull when you go out (I only use pouches when away, to keep my baby clean ;))
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
Yes, because my son enjoyed all of them and didnt have any problem with stomach after eating them

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
I hadn't heard of them until they arrived, I think if we are out and about and they are on offer then yes I may buy one or two
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
My baby girl like all the ones however her favourite was the APPLE purée, the BLACKBERRY and PRUNE purée and the COCONUT purée
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
I tended to give them to her as a pudding or with fruit sticks as they are generally on the sweet side so maybe a way to improve would be more vege based textures. I feel that the majority of the pouches are already avalible to me in the supermarkets.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
I would as they are ready to eat so saved time at meal times
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
I already have, my friend's little one tried it on a day out (only a small amount) but he also enjoyed the taste
TeddyIsaHe · 23/08/2017 10:10
  1. I did know this, and had said a couple of times before I wish someone did fresh baby food for when I'm knackered and want to feed dd something quick but not have the guilt of using ready made pouches. This is a decent alternative.
  1. The plum
  1. Less apple! I was excited by the range of flavours but quite disappointed they were all nearly 50% apple. It means they all had a similar flavour (I tried them all) and were very sweet. I'm trying to give dd savoury tastes as she has a hugely sweet tooth. More texture would be great, and they are very runny, so thicker would also be good.
  1. I will purchase again, if they are available in a wider range of supermarkets. And if the flavour ranges diversify. I don't mind paying extra for cold-pressed at all, but I do object to nearly £2 for a pouch of apple purée.
  1. I have recommended, but because they are very smooth and thin textured they are only really suitable for babies just starting out on the weaning journey. By around 7 months they become nigh on obsolete apart from mixing with other things (and thus reducing their handiness) and most mums I know have babies around that age.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

No I didn't know, and no it won't change how I shop.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

The coconut and cacao despite the runnyness of it.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I think the recipes are OK, lots of banana and apple bases with a tiny percentage of the other ingredients which is a shame.

There are some slightly more out there flavours in the savse range but nothing you couldn't make at home for far cheaper.

The consistency of some pouches is far too runny.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I wouldn't due to the price and ambiguity of how to store it. £1.70 of fruit would make 5 or more homemade pouches so the cost is huge compared to the product.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

If they had money to burn then yes. Otherwise I'd say save your pennies and buy some resealable pouches and make your own.

BeeMyBaby · 23/08/2017 16:00

1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

No I didn't, yes in future I might look in the chilled isle in the kids section.

2. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
The plain apple

3. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I thought the apple was much sweeter and less tangy than other similar products so my son was more willing to eat it.

4. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

If it was on offer I might. It was nice to mix some of the flavours with natural yoghurt to make a sweetened baby yoghurt without sugar, although as it then had to be consumed within 6 hours, it doesn't last as other makes.

5. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
If they wanted fresh food but couldn't make their own all the time then I definitely would.

acsec · 23/08/2017 17:38
  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

I don't have a pet so I wasn't aware. None of this information will change the way I shop for baby.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

DD's favourites were the Pear,Pea,Apple and Spinach and the Blueberry, prune, plum, Apple and banana. She refused to eat the Kale pouch and the beetroot pouch (I can see why - kale was too bitter, beetroot too earthy). She also wasn't sure about the cacao one (again I can see why - it left a weird aftertaste like cheap chocolate yogurt).

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I like the USP that the pouches are cold pressed, but they are weird flavours! We didn't get the lentil pouch, but we both tried the others. I always taste DD's food so I can understand her preferences. As I said before the kale pouch was too bitter. There are other savoury non-bitter veg that could be used , like broccoli. DD is quite fussy about baby food and I wasn't surprised she liked the sweeter flavours, but the sweet ones didn't taste any different to other pouches we've had really.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I've seen My First Savsé in a couple of supermarkets, but it's £1.70 a pouch! I'd rather forgo the extra nutrients for saving the extra cash and continue buying the fruit pouches from Lidl, occasionally.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

I don't think I would, unless my friend was super health conscious. They are a bit too runny, weird flavours and WAY too expensive. I also think they gave DD bad wind. I made sure she only had the pouches at breakfast so she didn't have tummy ache at night.

1.Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

I did not know about the pet food. We have no pets. However, chilled baby food is not always convenient.

2.Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

My son ate everyone, he didn't really show a preference. He did enjoy them all.

3.How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

The flavours were quite a random selection, however they were all eaten so obviously tasty. To compare to existing products, they are quite high in price and not very useful for throwing in the changing bag as emergency food. I quite often have a pouch in the bag, but these would have to be kept refrigerated.

4.Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I would purchase if the price was right and I knew I'd use them while at home.

5.Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

Yes as my son really enjoyed eating them.

sleepyMe12 · 23/08/2017 23:53
  1. No I never knew there was chilled pet food. It will not change the way I shop.
  1. He enjoyed them all but was screaming for the blueberry one when I wasn't fast enough.
  1. They was all very sweet.
They don't really have a wide enough range to compete with other pouches especially at their normal price.
  1. Yes if they was offer I would.
  1. I would maybe recommend them if I knew the parent was looking for something like that to feed the baby.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
Probably not
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
Only one she didn't like was the kale one
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
Including more textured food and some more carbs as they're just fruit and veg purees
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
Depending on the price, I would.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
Yes I would

Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

I usually buy the chilled Little Dish meals but hadn't seen chilled puree before. I will definitely look out for any new flavours and may purchase if on offer and if the flavours sound like something my little boy would like.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

The apple pouch and the cocoa pouch.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

My little boy hardly like any of the flavours (he ate 3 of them, apple, cocoa and sweet potato). He usually wolfs down pouches but having tasted the ones he didn't like, I have to say that I agree with him, they tasted like dirt! :-( I'd say that current options are preferable.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

No, I feel that I'd be wasting my money as my little boy didn't like many flavours and also, they are far more expensive than other pouches on offer.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

I would if they felt particularly strongly about the way baby food is produced but in all honestly, I feel that other, organically produced pouches are far more tasty and therefore better value for money. It's a shame as the concept really appealed to me.

puglife · 24/08/2017 17:01

. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

No I wasn't aware but it also won't change the way I shop.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

My little one seemed to enjoy the blueberry one the most. However, she had very loose nappies that night and the day after. I don't know if it's related or not but it would probably prevent me giving it her again.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

Similar to other pouches on offer. Maybe having pouches with just a single fruit flavour rather than mixing them all. Allowing babies to really taste single fruits in order to get ready for weening.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I'm not sure I would. I've never had issues with the other pouches I purchase so I wouldn't necessarily want to change.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
I don't think so, for the above reason

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
Yes, I definitely prefer chilled baby pouches, because these are more fresh, natural and healthy. My First Savse tastes better, because fresh ingredients have always more intensive flavour.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
The apple one is extremely delicious.
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
My First Savse tastes better because freshness. I would like to see more fruit pouches with some oat for extra fibre.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
Yes, of course, I would purchase more often, because my family follows healthier diet.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
Yes, I can only recommend, because My First Savse pouches are healthier and even taste better.

Testers, once the products are finished, please answer the below questions as well as leaving any other feedback you have:

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

Pet food makes no difference to me. Cold pressed baby food might change the way I shop. I like the idea of more nutrients when I use packet food.

  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

Plain apple. She really didn't like the one with kale and my three year old who usually mops up any reimagining package food wouldn't touch it either.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

Better savoury options. I use packets when I'm out and about but still want my little one to get some nutrition. I don't struggle to get fruit into her as it's easy to carry, hold and eat. I'd rather more veg. Both children love the pouch style meals but didn't really enjoy the savoury options of these as much.

  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

I might purchase them on a day out rather than the rival brand, like most Mums I'm worried if they're getting enough fruit & veg so anything that adds to this when I'm on the go is a plus. However, as I said above fruit is pretty easy on the go.

  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why

Possibly. As they currently are they might appeal to a younger child than my 1 year old. If your baby on purées they are a good substitute when you're out.

1.Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food?
No I didn't know this. I don't have pets. It will change how I shop as I am keen to get chilled baby food.
2.Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
My daughter loved them all! She liked the ones that were more fruit based rather than veggie based.
3.How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
Maybe more root veg to add sweetness but also carbs. The brand has a USP for being chilled which is fab for promoting freshness.
4.Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why? Definitely! I love the freshness and the impact on maintaining vitamins and mineral stability.
5.Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
Yes I will - nobody else seems to offer such fresh baby food.

1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?

I didn't know, it does seem like there is a gap in the market for this and it's a really fresh concept.

2. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?

She loved the Kiwi & Spinach flavour and also the one with beetroot. Plain Apple is also always a winner. We are about a month and a half into weaning (had to wean early for medical reasons at 5 months) so it was great for him to try the different combinations.

3. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?

I would really like there to be purely savoury flavours. As we are still early in the weaning process, I am concentrating mainly on savoury flavours and there was a fairly high content of apple in each pouch. Babease, another baby food brand, creates purely veg pouches that still taste delicious so it's definitely possible. I did like the original flavour combinations though.

4. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?

Yes I would, if the apple content remained high then they probably wouldn't be a regular food but for a few times a week I know my little one would enjoy them and they tasted very fresh.

5. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?

Yes. They were tasty and very popular with my baby! I like the concept a lot and I think with a few tweaks or developments for savoury options they would have a really persuasive formula.

  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets? Less apple. More textured stuff would be good too. I found the pouches a bit runny.
  2. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why? Once in a while, but not all the time. I really like the concept, but I found the runniness and excess of apple off putting. I might also buy myself the odd pouch. I pinched the apple and pear one and really enjoyed it..
  3. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why? Yes, as it seems good quality and nutritious.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
I hadn't been aware there was chilled pet food and only thought about the lack of chilled baby food (toddler meals don't count I guess) now. Depending on the price point of the pouches, I might choose buying these for my baby again - but he is now getting older and so we are moving forward from puréed foods.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
The apple one - my little one has a very sweet tooth and I think this flavour was the sweetest of them all, so that might be why.
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
Getting my sweet toothed baby to eat more savoury/vegetables has been tricky (he tends to blow food raspberries in your face when he doesn't like the taste!) so he has managed to eat more veg than usual by have the veg combined with fruit. It would be nice to have some more savoury choices and also perhaps some sort of grain/cereal in them too and something with more protein so it's a more balanced meal. It would also be nice to have pouches which were more thicker/textured for as babies get older.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why?
If they were at a comparable price then I think I would as I think the nutrients in the food are better preserved and I felt they were similar tasting to homemade purées and not so artificial tasting, but obviously much more convenient and more adventurous flavours then perhaps what I might come up with.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
I would recommend them for babies who are just started being weaned and for when you start giving them more complex flavours. They were definitely very convenient and tasted more like homemade baby food and I like that less nutrients are being lost. They won't be suitable for travelling perhaps and price point would definitely play a part as to whether I would buy them again/recommend them, my baby got on well with them and enjoyed the flavours.

  1. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? Will this change the way you shop for your little one?
Probably not. I didn't know about chilled pet food, but I'm more concerned about whether it's nutritious more than if it's chilled or not.
  1. Which was your little one’s favourite recipe from the My First Savsé Stage 1 range?
My son loved all of them loads except the cacao one, he liked that one but didn't love it.
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets?
I loved that it had pea, beetroot and spinach, it was good to have different veg. It could have different fruit to apple in some of them. The apple did make it taste nice but if any one didn't like apple they wouldn't have much choice.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why
I'd purchase it because it's healthy and my son liked the taste.
  1. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why?
I would recommend it, although being chilled it's not easy to just throw in the changing bag and take out for the day like other pouches. But for taste etc I would recommend as my son loved the taste.

. Did you know that until My First Savsé came along, there was chilled pet food available in retailers but no chilled baby food? No I didn't know that.

Will this change the way you shop for your little one? Probably not

The just fruity ones
  1. How could My First Savsé improve their recipes? They need less sweet ones.
How would you say My First Savsé compares to the current offering of baby food pouches in supermarkets? The flavours were very different to what's already available.
  1. Knowing that My First Savsé is never heat pasteurised, would you purchase My First Savsé if it was widely available in supermarkets, and why? No it's just annoying having to keep them in the fridge
  2. Would you recommend My First Savsé baby food to a friend or family member, and why? I'd say give them a go, but I won't be buying them.

  1. I guess I didn't know that, there is chilled "toddler" food though if you care about that? I'm sure some of those toddler meals are suitable from 6 months so I'm not convinced by that claim tbh... And know, this definitely won't change the way I shop!

2. She liked/disliked them all equally tbh.

  1. Perhaps simpler combos? More vegetables since it's recommended to wean veg first?

4. Maybe sometimes, if it was at a good price (and I mean good, I would NEVER pay more that £1 for a pouch). Having to keep it cold is a right pain, but I have a child with development delays who can only eat smooth food at present and needs all the nutrients that she can get so would consider occasionally.

  1. Only if there was a reason for them to need stage one purees and extra nutrients like us - they are too much hassle for everyday.

I'll just add that I was intrigued by the idea of these and had high hopes (my lo generally dislikes pouches/jars but will eat homemade purees) but was disappointed by the reality. The short room-temp 'shelf-life' would make these almost impossible to use on a day out and why bother using them at home when you can just mash a banana?
