Mind Candy is launching a new subscription service and they’ve asked us to find 250 Mumsnetters to try it out. If you’re selected, your DC will receive a personalised letter addressed to them from Moshlingologist Buster Bumblechops. This letter will set them on a fun quest to retrieve a special stolen egg, with the help of the contents of their surprise Moshi Mystery Box, which will follow in the post. The boxes also work in tandem with the free Moshi Egg Hunt Mobile Game, which can be downloaded for both iOS and Android.

Here’s what Mind Candy have to say: ‘The experience begins when your DC receives an exciting personalised letter in the post, in which Buster Bumblechops explains that a very special Moshling egg has been stolen and that he’ll soon be sending a Moshi Mystery Box, jam-packed with clues, activities and missions. The first box contains fun art and craft activities, Moshi collectables, a comic strip, jokes and much more. And if you decide to sign up, there will be two more Moshi Mystery Boxes to follow.

A simple story runs across all three boxes, taking your child on a quest across Monstro City. Each box is also themed - box one is the Frostipop Glacier, two is Potion Ocean and three is all about the Gombala Gombala Jungle! The first box will also contain a pack of trading cards that can be scanned to unlock exclusive characters in the 100% free Moshi Monsters Egg Hunt Mobile Game!’

All selected testers will be asked to post on a feedback thread after the product test, answering a few questions about how they found the experience. All testers who leave their feedback will be entered into a prize draw, where one will be randomly selected to win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

I could be wrong but the email seems to be worded that if you don't/can't reply the letter will be addressed to you rather than your child, so not ideal but I am hoping those who couldn't reply will still receive them

Email hq. I missed the email which said I'd been selected. The email wanted you to confirm dcs name and address so the box could be personalised. If you where chosen but didn't confirm dcs details the box will still be sent.

I emailed MNHQ yesterday and they said that people who had an email to say they had been chosen but we're unable to send their DC's details due to the problems with the emails not sending will still get there Moshi Mystery Box to trial, it's just that it won't be addressed to our DC so anyone who missed their email or couldn't respond, you should be fine for the trial still

Anyone know when these should arrive my little girl is so excited about testing these I've told her it's like a little job to help other kids !
