This is the feedback thread for the 10 Mumsnetters trying the Kobold VK200 Upright Vacuum Cleaner.

Non testers - we also have 5 handheld vacuums to be won - simply share on this thread what your least favourite room or place to vac is and you will be entered into a prize draw where 5 non testers will each win their very own Kobold VC100 handheld vacuum cleaner (RRP £129.00) Smile

Back to the test, the team at Kobold say “compact, unbeatably handy and extremely powerful, the Kobold VK200 Upright Vacuum Cleaner is the ideal addition to your household, making life easier and cleaner.
Designed by global German household appliance manufacturer Vorwerk, the Kobold VK200, in combination with two different attachments, takes care of all your floor cleaning needs. Whether it’s carpets or hard floors – the VK200 Homecare System has it covered.
The unique SP530 DuoClean head allows you to mop and vacuum at the same time – a world first! It uses just 100ml of water to cover up to 20 m² of hard floor. And the best part? Simply remove the cleaning cloths when you’ve finished and pop them in the washing machine ready for next time.

“The EB400 brush head meanwhile ensures vacuuming is thorough, gentle and hygienic – driven by its own motor, a special rotating brush scans the floor 16 times per second and removes dirt and dust completely. Even the finest dirt particles do not stand a chance!

“Visit kobold.vorwerk.co.uk to find out more about the Kobold VK200 vacuum cleaner and discover the array of clever additional accessories that turn this machine into the Ultimate Homecare System! Simply click and swap to the attachment you need to expertly deal with upholstery, furniture, mattresses, textiles and anything else you need cleaned. Built to last, the Kobold VK200 is the only vacuum cleaner you’ll ever need”.

My girls & boys room on the 2nd floor as I always have to clear so much kiddy-junk off the floor just to find the carpet!

sarahbrokenshire · 29/11/2016 16:03

Can I say every room? The worst has to be the hallway x

hayleyjturner78 · 29/11/2016 16:06

The stairs as it's a right struggle to hold the hoover while trying to vac the stairs at same time

tubbyj · 29/11/2016 16:25

my sons bedroom, is my eat favourite such a fight to find the carpet.

katieskatie82 · 29/11/2016 17:57

the easiest room is the living room but i hate hoovering the stairs!

girls2go · 29/11/2016 18:30

I hate having to hoover my daughters bedroom, guaranteed blocking the hoover will be false eyelashes, false nails, and under the bed will be cotton pads or face wipes and last weeks dinner pots and I have to pick everything up of the floor just to be able to hoover

MAT12 · 29/11/2016 18:36

The room i dislike doing as its the scariest place to vacuum, that is my eldest sons room. I Normally wont do it but as the time goes on it starts to annoy me (not sure how any one can live in a room like that) so i end up doing it

mumpetuk1 · 29/11/2016 19:34

Under the sofa, I hate pulling it out as it is heavy

Topsyturvy01 · 29/11/2016 20:25

Non tester - My stairs, it's so awkward to get the vacuum up them.

mooncheese · 29/11/2016 20:42

My least favourite place to vacuum is the stairs. They are so steep and we have two sets! Hate it!!

ellie17 · 29/11/2016 20:49

my bedroom as it shows the fluff so its quite satisfying

sadiewoohoo · 29/11/2016 21:41

I hate the stairs!

KittyScar · 29/11/2016 22:13

My bathroom, it's rather small and I can never quite seem to be able to get to where all the dust collects :(

matphil · 29/11/2016 22:24

My least favourite place is the stairs.

rosy78 · 29/11/2016 23:07

My living room, cake and biscuit crumbs seem to migrate into all the fiddly little places that are hard to reach without keep changing the tools on my vacuum. The cat hair clings to the carpet which ever direction I attack them, there are always those which will not be moved. I would love to be able to just vacuum without all the little problems.

lolamia91 · 30/11/2016 02:23

the stairway

carpathian · 30/11/2016 06:18

Non testers- toss up between my stairs and my boys bedroom which takes forever to vacuum as they are typical lads, think my boys bedroom wins hands down.

vincenta · 30/11/2016 09:46

worst place kids bedroom, full of lego and tiny toys under bed or in corners...

jandoc · 30/11/2016 12:01

it's the stairs

meggysar · 30/11/2016 12:49

My least favourite has to be the stairs and I have to say this probably only gets done once a month!

cathyjam · 30/11/2016 12:52

stairs, so awkward

purpleluvbug · 30/11/2016 14:31

I really hate doing the stairs!! It's such a nightmare dragging the hoover up the stairs all the time!!

HelenSw4les · 30/11/2016 15:27

My least favourite room is our bedroom; as we have a king size bed it's almost impossible to move on my own and thick dust gathers behind the headboard and under the bed where my old vacuum cleaner won't reach.

The stairs, it's the hardest and most awkward bit to hoover
