We have been asked by the team at Morphy Richards to find 15 MNers to test the Redefine Atomist Vapour Iron. We’re looking for MNers who have an interest in technology and gadgets. Here is a link to the product www.morphyrichards.co.uk/redefine/atomist/

Here is what Morphy Richards say about the iron: “The Atomist Vapour Iron is completely unique to the market as it uses vapour mist rather than steam, which means that it doesn’t need water to generate heat. As no water is heated or boiled, there is absolutely no build-up of limescale, meaning that it’s completely hassle free to clean. This also means that a fine mist can be sprayed onto garments, which is absorbed by the fibres, guaranteeing that creases can be ironed out quickly and effectively.”

If you are selected, we want you to share your feedback on a thread on Mumsnet about how you found the iron compared to the usual one you use. We’d also like you to share photos of garments before and after you’ve used the iron, and also photos of you using the iron. In addition to this, we’d like you to write a review in the Mumsnet household appliances review section. Finally, we’d like you to write a review on the Morphy Richards website. Please only sign up to do this product test if you’re happy to do all of these things.

As long as you give feedback as required, you will be able to keep the iron, worth £250.

If you’d like to take part, please add your details here and we will be in touch with those selected soon.

Thanks and good luck!

Wow yes please....my iron is dying a slow death. Have never entered one of these so would love to have some beginners luck and get the chance to try one of these out Grin

Butteredparsnips · 21/03/2016 22:52

Oh yes, I'd love to try this out!

We live in a hard water area, meaning that all of our water filled appliances suffer from life limiting conditions. Our current iron is coughing out lime scale (usually on DH's white uniform shirts) and is probably entering a terminal phase. I'm really intrigued, and if I'm honest - just a bit desperate - to try out this iron. It certainly looks like it would get creases out of cotton shirts and if it can do that without water I would very impressed.

May I add that with 3 sets of uniform and a week of work shirts for DS I can offer a very thorough product test?

Physicist here, and that iron looks most intriguing. I'd love to try it out on my new egyptian cotton sheets which are absolutely gorgeous, but a complete pain to iron.

Abominablebride · 21/03/2016 23:48

I'm fascinated by the need to select the perfect temperature for pasta, coffee or herbal tea!
That would be a whole new level of an ironing experience Confused

Signoritawhocansway · 23/03/2016 16:39

But the link doesn't work...MNHQ?

Thistly · 23/03/2016 16:42

The survey is closed :-(
My iron is on the blink, so i'd like to enter. Am I too late?

I saw it earlier in the week and thought it looks really interesting, but I don't need an iron. Then when I was ironing yesterday, my iron packed up. I jiggled it and got to finish what I was doing, but think it might be after an early retirement at 12.

Thistly · 23/03/2016 16:43

Mindy ... just saw your post.. . Is the same iron!

HardleyWorthit · 23/03/2016 19:24

Competed the survey yesterday.....

Pleeeeeeeease!
