We have been asked by the team at Morphy Richards to find 15 MNers to test the Redefine Atomist Vapour Iron. We’re looking for MNers who have an interest in technology and gadgets. Here is a link to the product www.morphyrichards.co.uk/redefine/atomist/

Here is what Morphy Richards say about the iron: “The Atomist Vapour Iron is completely unique to the market as it uses vapour mist rather than steam, which means that it doesn’t need water to generate heat. As no water is heated or boiled, there is absolutely no build-up of limescale, meaning that it’s completely hassle free to clean. This also means that a fine mist can be sprayed onto garments, which is absorbed by the fibres, guaranteeing that creases can be ironed out quickly and effectively.”

If you are selected, we want you to share your feedback on a thread on Mumsnet about how you found the iron compared to the usual one you use. We’d also like you to share photos of garments before and after you’ve used the iron, and also photos of you using the iron. In addition to this, we’d like you to write a review in the Mumsnet household appliances review section. Finally, we’d like you to write a review on the Morphy Richards website. Please only sign up to do this product test if you’re happy to do all of these things.

As long as you give feedback as required, you will be able to keep the iron, worth £250.

If you’d like to take part, please add your details here and we will be in touch with those selected soon.

Thanks and good luck!

Yes please, having recently returned to full time work and I have had to reacquaint myself with the iron.

It has not been a joyful reunion

Ohwoolballs · 20/03/2016 10:45

Well, I've filled out the form. Is it sad that this got me really excited on a Sunday morning.... 😁

DH is the ironing king in this house. I'm sure he'd love a shiny new gadget to make the task easier.

DH is very excited about this. Hope we're picked Smile

signing up. I hate ironing. Hate it.

Raahh · 20/03/2016 23:10

This looks amazing. I hate ironing- I do what I need and that is it. There was a time I would wizz through the piles of ironing whilst watching Holby. I am lacking motivation these daysGrin

Also, the fact my sparked last week, and I thought I would be electrocuted puts me off even moreGrin

Fluzzieinajacuzzi · 21/03/2016 07:21

Our iron broke a few days ago so yes please! I actually enjoy ironing, it's one of the few satisfying domestic chores.

AWhistlingWoman · 21/03/2016 07:53

Me please! I bought an expensive (for me!) steam generator for myself for Christmas but I've had so many problems with it. Would love to try something new. Have tried MANY times to break myself of the ironing habit but have recently started ironing socks! What is wrong with me?!? Just find it very satisfying for some reason Confused

It looks really good, Mnet is lucky for me I tested the Karcher steamer a couple of years ago.
Apart from this I've never won so much as a raffle prize.

Mindysgotswag · 21/03/2016 19:47

I have a passion for ironing, sad, I know... and my Philips Azur has been well used for a long, long time ready to go and spend the rest of it's life in an electrical appliance retirement home.

I'm currently on the lookout to give an new iron a good home. I'll treat it like family!

I have so much love to give.....Smile

please...let it be me!
