Kenwood have asked us to find 20 Mumsnetters to try their kCook cooking food processor.

Here’s what they say, “Whipping up a one-pot wonder for your family has never been easier thanks to the new kCook cooking food processor from Kenwood which not only chops and stirs, but also cooks delicious dishes at the touch of a few buttons. All this, plus a fantastic specially-developed recipe app to provide a little inspiration at every meal time, makes the kCook the new must-have kitchen essential.

The three bowl tools coupled with the app make the laborious tasks of thinking up a meal, preparing ingredients and endlessly stirring over a hot stove a thing of the past. Simply follow one of over 200 recipes available on the app, or adapt them to your taste using the kCook’s manual modes which allow the speeds and temperatures to be changed.”

This product test is open to all UK Mumsnetters.

Those who are selected to will receive a kCook (RRP £329.99). Testers will be required to post their feedback on a thread on Mumsnet in order to be allowed to keep the product.

If you’re interested in taking part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck

Let's face it, you've got next to no chance of getting picked as 10,000 people who see the link on freebie sites will all have piled in...just remembering the epic Specsavers competition thread!

I would imagine MNHQ will be pretty careful in sifting these. I mean, they don't want someone who isn't a regular swanning off with a gadget this expensive and not leaving the requisite feedback, because that would be seriously bad news for them. Non-regulars can complete as many surveys as they want - can't see them having a hope in hell of getting anywhere.

I love Kenwood clobber - have a ton in this house, as unlike Dualit they live up to the reputation - and I really, really envy my German friend's Thermomix, so if Kenwood have moved into that market I am chuffed to bits. If I don't get lucky with the product test, then I shall have to start saving.

Wow....this looks like a thing for our family...brilliant.

Well when I brought up the subject on the competitions 'winner' thread ( about people just joining to enter for stuff) I was told by MNHQ you've got to be in it to win it. Hmm

muminthecity · 11/06/2015 21:05

I'd love this so much! Have signed up Smile

MN aren't going to dissuade people from joining MN - they want new members, and people who sign up for that purpose may end up solid regulars. This place is fab, after all. Grin But the value of these things is such that they really do need to be pretty sure they'll get the promised reviews at the end of the tests. It's not like they're dishwasher tablets or cooling gel pads or something, that they can send out en masse and expect a good enough rate of response if 2/3 bother to review.

Or that would be my expectation, anyway. Who knows, maybe I'm completely wrong.

Oh my God MNHQ if I get my hands on one of these I think I will literally die of excitement. I need one in my life (that sounds sad, I know). I just love making my own food from scratch and this seems like a life-saver.

DoItTooJulia · 12/06/2015 10:27

Just checking in to see who'd been picked, but it looks like were all still waiting! Exciting stuff!

sportinguista · 12/06/2015 10:34

My mum had a Kenwood Chef for years, my sister now has it, and guess what it still works, this was a model bought in 1966 as a wedding present! I would be so excited to win one as have coveted it for ages and if it lasts half as long as my mums original I will be totally impressed!

ThePaperBagPrincess · 12/06/2015 10:42

Sportinguista - My mum's Kenwood Chef was purchased the year she got married, 1970, and is still going strong :)

nerysw · 12/06/2015 12:52

This looks amazing!

emwithme · 12/06/2015 16:03

I'd so love one of these. I love cooking but my disability means I can't do it most days because I'm not safe in a kitchen. Something like this would mean I can actually cook something healthy and tasty without breaking myself for a week!

kungfupidge · 12/06/2015 17:31
