We have been asked by the team at Brantano to find 95 MNers to visit their nearest Brantano store (over the next few weeks) to get their DCs feet expertly measured and fitted for new shoes (the new shoes will even be included!). As part of this, they would like you to give your feedback on the fitting service that you and your DC experienced in store (range, expertise, pricing etc).

Here's what they say "Brantano is proud to offer a free kids shoe fitting service, with staff trained by top brands such as Clarks, Start Rite and Hush Puppies. The team are put through rigorous training followed by at least 25 supervised fits before being given the title of ‘expert fitter’. What’s more, Brantano offer convenient out of town shopping with most of its stores located on retail parks making the shopping experience unlike many other traditional footwear shops, as the shoes are displayed in pairs that can be easily selected and tried on immediately."

Each tester will receive a voucher which can be redeemed against one pair shoes (to the value of £50) at their nearest Brantano store.

For the free kids shoe fitting service, testers would need to visit a Brantano store between the 1st and the 21st June, so please only apply if you're available during this time.

After visiting your nearest Brantano store, we'd need you to post on a feedback thread on Mumsnet.

Every tester who posts their feedback will be entered into a prize draw, where one winner will receive a £100 Brantano voucher.

If you'd like to participate, please add your details here - www.surveymonkey.com/s/RFFQ8GS

Thanks

Great product test. Ds1 starting school And I've been dreading this whole school shoes thing. Hoping that this will solve all my problems!

Fingers and toes crossed Grin

just some Brantano feedback. last time I went in, the sales assistant went to get the expert shoe person. he said DD(3) was a size 9. I was surprised to say the least as she was a 6 last time I'd got her measured. oh, it was upside down he said. She's a 6. never again.

I've entered, as I've never thought of shopping in Brantano for my toddlers shoes, we always use Clarks, so would be great to discover an alternative retailer

Feltedbump · 22/05/2015 11:02

Entered! Here's hoping; had problems with Clarks service in the past

dickinson13 · 22/05/2015 12:48

Signed up. Really hope we get to try this.

SmileyShazza · 22/05/2015 13:32

We have two large Brantano stores near us and would be more than happy to go in and give their fitting a try. We are going to need new shoes for when our son starts school in September so this would be a great way to tie in two things at once. I haven't used the fitting service at Brantano before either so it would be a good way for me to try it out for the first time too.

Coffeecoffeebuzzbuzzbuzz · 22/05/2015 13:37

CatthiefKeith · 22/05/2015 16:50

Keeping my fingers crossed - dd hates Clarks shoes, would be interested to see if Brantano is a credible alternative

Pontouf · 22/05/2015 18:21

Entered and very hopeful, would love to see if we could get some school shoes that are cheaper than Clarks but properly fitted.

Newshoesplease · 22/05/2015 18:34

Love brantano for shoe fitting, although haven't been recently. I find it easier than queuing at my local Clarke come new term time!

Entered! My little one is due a shoe fitting. Didn't cross my mind to try Brantano.

wrapsuperstar · 23/05/2015 23:07

Entered. We usually use one of the big competitors to fit our 3 year old DD but have become quite disappointed by their service recently. Would be a good opportunity to see what another retailer and Brantano is super-local to us is like.

AnneOfCleavage · 23/05/2015 23:21

Have signed up as would love to try out Brantano shoes as my sister raves about them Smile

Drivingnovice · 23/05/2015 23:38

Done Smile

WannaSplitAPineapple · 24/05/2015 08:02

Signed up - would be great for DS. I've given up on another local competitor since the last lady insisted the shoes fitted him when they clearly didn't.

Thislittlekitten · 24/05/2015 09:06

Entered. Hope I'm not to late! DD needs new shoes/trainers for summer!
