Aldi have asked us to find 250 Mumsnetters to test out their Mamia nappies with their DCs.

Here’s what Aldi say, “We’re looking for 250 Mumsnetters to try Aldi’s award-winning Mamia nappies. Dermatologically tested and hypoallergenic, our nappies are available in Aldi stores nationwide.

“Aldi’s Mamia nappies are fast becoming one of the UK’s favourite choice for babies from newborns to toddlers. The Ultra Dry Range scooped Gold at the Mother & Baby Awards for the second year running and has also been successful at the Lovedbyparents Awards, scooping Golds for the Size 3 Mamia Ultra Dry Midi Nappies and Size 4+ Mamia Ultra Dry Maxi+ Nappies. They also recently picked up the Bounty Mums Love Gold Best Private Label Nappy award.

“Aldi’s Mamia range is committed to offering savvy mums the best quality nappies for their little ones.

“As the range has been so successful in awards, we’d like to put them to the test with Mumsnetters as we really value your opinion. As ever, you are the experts and we’d love to hear your feedback.”

This product test is open to all UK Mumsnetters who have at least one child who is wearing nappies in one of the sizes below.

Size 1: 2-5kg/4-11lbs (newborn babies)
Size 2: 3-6kg/6-13lb (larger newborn babies & up to 3 or 4 months)
Size 3: 4-9kg/9-20lbs (from 4 months to 1 year)
Size 4: 7-18kg/15-40lbs (larger 1 year olds +)
Size 4+: 9-20kg/20-44lbs (apx. 18months-3 years old)
Size 5: 11-25kg/24-55lbs (3-4 year olds)
Size 5+: 13-27kg/29.60lbs (3+ years old)
Size 6: 15+kg/33+lbs (3+ years old)

  • The ages listed are provided as a guide

All testers will be sent one pack of Mamia nappies. Testers will be asked to feedback on a thread on Mumsnet as well as leave a review on the review page.

All the testers who add their feedback will be entered into a prize draw to win Aldi vouchers worth £300.

If you’re interested, please sign up here.

Thanks,
MNHQ

Signed! We tried them a long time ago, on holiday, but as we're not really near an Aldi we've never thought of switching - but if they are good we definitely will I reckon - it will be another reason to switch to a proper Aldi stock-up shop.

sisterelephant · 27/02/2015 06:37

I'd love to try, we use pampers and asda mainly, I've heard many good things shout aldi so would be great to check them out.

cantbelieveimonhere · 27/02/2015 09:05

Signed up!Smile

puddymuddles · 27/02/2015 17:30

Have entered for 3 year old who is proving difficult to toilet train so am giving it a rest for a bit! Have heard Aldi very good. I also have a 2 year old and expecting baby 3 so would definitely switch to Aldi if any good.

ohdearitshappeningtome · 27/02/2015 22:53

I've signed up also found sizing out. But ordered a size 4 as that's what ds wears now

FreezerBird · 28/02/2015 15:42

Are aldi interested to hear from families of older children who are still in nappies due to disability?

My daughter is six and wears size 5+ nappies. I'd love to test the aldi ones but when you get to the survey there's no option to give an age over 4.

MrsLJ2014 · 28/02/2015 16:58

Have applied to give these a try as at the moment we use Pampers. Confused about the sizing / weights though!

GlitzAndGigglesx · 28/02/2015 17:00

Used these nappies with my dd when she wore them and they're so much better than the branded nappies

DrHarleenFrancesQuinzel · 01/03/2015 12:09

Ive signed up as Ive only heard good things about Aldi nappies. Haven't really thought about buying them yet as we dont really go to Aldi much, just more for a top up shop/browse for good bargains rather than use it for our weekly shop.

WiggleGinger · 01/03/2015 20:04

Have signed up & my ds would need size 4 at 6 months as his weight fits into that category

Wilberforce2 · 01/03/2015 20:33

Signed up but the sizes are very different to what I use at the moment, my dd is currently in a 4+ but according to Aldi a size 4 is for a "large 1 year old" which my dd is definitely not! Would love to give them a go and see how they are.

Pontouf · 01/03/2015 21:38

Signed up!

Pontouf · 01/03/2015 21:40

Actually yes the sizes seem small to me - my daughter is not huge of bottom but is 22 months and usually in size 4+ or 5 in sainsburys or waitrose own brand nappies so will be interested to see if Aldi's are bigger.
