Weight watchers are steeling again

Weight watchers have taken an unauthorised payment from my account again. I am now overdrawn and won't be able to access my account to transfer money I time today to stop me being charged.

I hope that mumsnet is honest when posting feedback for this company, I don't want to see their dishonest business practices glossed over. They are untrustworthy and I feel very strongly that your review has to reflect that.

But Ann, this thread was started on Wednesday, so saying that this difficult to resolve because it is the weekend is utter rubbish.

I'm really shocked about MNHQ's lack of reaction to this.

I've not been involved in this test but I'm also shocked at the lack of action and contrition.

There should have been an immediate apology from ww on bended knees and a promise to refund all charges. And mn should have used it's apparent might to bring this to pass.

Shame on you.

Can you all cancel or block any further DD? Just to make sure it doesn't happen again next month?

Actually, you know what, I would take this info directly to Paypal as they are very good about the rights of the "buyer". I'd call them or web chat whatever they have and have some screen shots and explain the situation.

I think Alibaba means a lack of action. Even if you are helping behind the scenes I think MN owe it to the people involved to pay out and not leave them out of pocket while you sort it out with WW directly.

Hi everyone, just to let you know, all of the refunds have been processed, and the affected testers should have their accounts refunded today. Weight Watchers are also refunding any bank charges incurred, and we have been in touch with all the affected testers accordingly to organise this.

Thanks for that, I'll reply to the pm tonight. I can't do it on my phone as for some reason I can only ever read half a pm on the phone app.
