Weight Watchers would like 20 Mumsnetters to put the Weight Watchers programme to the test!

Weight Watchers say: “with 50 years of success behind us we understand how to make losing weight simple, delicious and fun; but we also understand how challenging it can be when you’re facing it alone. Try us now with Monthly Pass our best value membership option giving you unlimited access to Weight Watchers meetings, online tools and our app, all you have to lose is weight!”

They would like to offer 20 Mumsnetters the opportunity to try out their membership on Monthly Pass for three months for free.

You will be given a FREE Weight Watchers Monthly Pass which will give you access to unlimited Weight Watchers meetings as well as the Weight Watchers online tools and app for three months.

We'd like testers to offer feedback every week for the first month on their experiences and (if they don't mind sharing) how much weight they have lost and how they feel.

Everyone who offers feedback will be entered into a prize draw to win £100 worth of Asda vouchers.

Interested? Then sign up here: www.surveymonkey.com/s/PG3662M.

Thanks & good luck,

MNHQ

I got my email! Really excited for this one. I've lost 3 stone, just 5.5 to goGrinGrinGrin

Eva50 · 10/09/2014 21:15

momma I'm sure we will be able to pick. I can't really go in the evening and anyone who works full time won't be able to go during the day. It would need to suit.

Lottoe I can assure you that a 6 stone loss won't make me look like Twiggy or modelling material like ledkr.

dobedobedo · 11/09/2014 04:17

Yay I got my email too! Grin

Hopefully will be a stone or two lighter by Christmas then!

I hope there are meetings during the day, evenings will be difficult with a small baby.

mommathatwearspink · 11/09/2014 19:49

dobedobedo me too... DD is only 5 months. How old is your LO?

Sixgeese · 11/09/2014 22:00

I'm in too, very excited. I lost 6 1/2 with slimming world a couple of years ago, and while still attending meetings couldn't shift the last two stones before I got to the weight I wanted, in fact I have put a stone on. Hopefully this will be the push I need to get back on the weight loss track.

I have looked up the local groups, and the closest is at 5.30pm, which wouldn't work for me as I would have to drag the 3DC to the meetings, so I plan on to the morning group which is a mile from the DC's school and will fit in really well with the school run.

Hopefully by Christmas I will have lost a stone or two, reporting my weekly weight loss online will be a huge motivation not to cheat.

dobedobedo · 13/09/2014 09:32

momma He has just turned 4 months. I have lost all my baby weight plus a stone already. Unfortunately I have another 4 or 5 stone to lose Sad

mommathatwearspink · 13/09/2014 17:56

dobedobedo you can do it! Smile

Is anyone else eager to get started?

Teladi · 13/09/2014 19:44

I am also in, and I'm excited. I didn't think I would get in to this trial as I don't have too much to lose, I think about a stone or so, but I thought I would try applying anyway and guess they may have wanted a range of MNetters? My weight has been creeping up over time and I have been thinking for a while that I must do something about it, mainly to avoid me having to buy all new (bigger) clothes!

I'm not sure I will be able to go to meetings due to work and childcare responsibilities, I tried WW about eight years ago when the points plan was different, did it fully online without attending meetings and I found it really good, and I lost 2st, kept it off for a long time, but since then have had a child and my lifestyle has totally changed. I'm looking forward to seeing how the plan is different now but hoping it's just as effective.

Eva50 · 13/09/2014 19:46

Yes. I treated myself to a WW magazine just to get into the right frame of mind - not very inspiring, but I was tired when I read it. I might have another look later. There is a meeting near me on Thursday, I would love to start then!

Teladi · 13/09/2014 19:58

I'm not sure when we'll be starting, I'm away for a couple of days this week but I would really love to start right when I get back!

I also just checked where and when my local meetings are, after seeing Sixgeese mention she had checked hers. Since I don't have a car, I'm not going to be able to get to any of the evening meetings, so looks like I will definitely be an online follower. I look forward to reading weekly updates from those of you who will be going in-person to hear what the meetings are like!

iwantgin · 15/09/2014 08:40

Any news on starting info yet?

Am going away for a wild weekend next week - so might have to start AFTER then :)

mommathatwearspink · 15/09/2014 15:06

iwant no joining info yet but I hope it's soon as finding it really hard not to eat everything whilst on maternity leave Confused

mommathatwearspink · 15/09/2014 15:07

Oh and your wild weekend sounds fun!

dobedobedo · 15/09/2014 16:56

I'm itching to get started, hope to receive info soon!

iwantgin · 15/09/2014 17:48

Wild weekend is in Barcelona. I can't imagine that any of the fab tapas and pintxos will be on ww plan ;) nor the cava and San Miguel

lunar1 · 16/09/2014 11:44

Has anyone had any info back after you sent you postcode?

ihatethecold · 16/09/2014 12:09

Not me. Hoping it starts after the 29th. I'm off to Valencia for a long weekend without the kids Wink

iwantgin · 16/09/2014 12:25

ihatethecold - we almost booked for Valencia that weekend. That would have been a coincidence eh. :)

ihatethecold · 16/09/2014 13:50

It would. Have you been to Barcelona before?

I love it there!

dobedobedo · 16/09/2014 14:44

Nope!

ShyPhilosopher · 16/09/2014 19:54

I also got picked. Am waiting to hear more info, after emailing my postcode. Am kind of excited, yet nervous at the same time.

mommathatwearspink · 16/09/2014 22:14

Ladies, I'm very jealous of your long weekends away. Enjoy!

I hope the information comes through soon as I can't stop eating... Confused

Eva50 · 18/09/2014 09:25

Arrrr. I hoped it would have come by now as the class I want to go to is this morning. That's another week of eating now!!!!!

mommathatwearspink · 19/09/2014 10:11

Hey Mumsnet... please can you advise on when we can expect our joining details? Thank you Smile

LottieAndTheDinosaur · 19/09/2014 15:04

I really hope the starting info comes through soon as instead of doing the sensible thing and starting to eat better now, I seem to be having endless pig outs whilst I still can Blush
