Q1. Where in your home did you use the Cif Cream to clean?
Bathroom tiles, ceramic Kitchen sink, granite worktop.

Q2. What was your overall impression of Cif Cream? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
I didn't dare use it on our plastic bath or shower screen as I was worried about scratching. It worked brilliantly on the sink and tiles where it was easy to rinse away. I wasn't so keen using it on surfaces that I then had to rinsesuch as the work tops. It seems a lot less abrasive than Jif used to be. I liked the smell it was mild and not too overwhelming.

Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product?
It's more effective than Method by I don't have to rinse Method. In the areas I cleaned they were spotless.

I will buy it again but would probably use it for specific , stubborn stains and cleaning sikns rather than as a general cleaner.

Yes I was surprised at how good it was.

I liked the smell - not too overpowering. It was very effective and required very little elbow grease - always a bonus

I thought it was very effective on the sinks, bath and tiles. My children use Aveeno and Oilatum in the bath for their eczema and this leaves a greasy residue in the bath, I found the product much more efficient than my usual product at removing this. Even the children commented on how sparkly the sink was!

A great overall impression. It has a nostalgic smell, not too strong, it's thickness felt better than using a watery spray and most importantly, it cleaned well.

Very - it made short work of my bathroom, my taps looked especially shiny.

Yes - it is what it is and doesn't try to be anything clever, it just does the job, for a good price.

Yes, because like me, it might be something they used in the past and had forgotten how effective it is.

I liked the smell. It wasn't too overpowering. With some cleaners you can almost taste them.

It was very effective at removing residue in the bath and sink. It made the taps and hob shine. It's a bit more time consuming than my usual spray cleaner though.

Yes if it was on offer. For £2.50 I wouldn't. It just doesn't last long enough. Is perhaps buy at full price if I was doing a deep clean.

Yes because it works well.

Q1. Where in your home did you use the Cif Cream to clean? I used it on the bathroom basins. I am apprehensive about using it on our bath which is a composite material. Our bathroom counters are also a composite so I can't use it on that either as it would damage it.
Q2. What was your overall impression of Cif Cream? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like? I liked the simplicity of it, my mother used Jif when I was a child & it reminded me of my childhood. It was hard to get the right amount out.
Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product? I usually use a spray & there was not much difference. It felt gritty & as if it had to be rinsed.
Q4. The RRP for Cif Cream is £2.50 (500ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not? That seems expensive. I wouldn't buy such a small bottle at that price, I usually choose cleaning products according to the supermarket reductions.

I can't imagine ever discussing cleaning products with anyone, unless I'd had a bad experience. If I had a control counter I'd have tried it on that & be pleased if I could use it but I didn't want to take the risk. We've been having a new kitchen installed so I haven't been able to test it on a kitchen sink or work top.

Pleasant smell, liquid spreads easily. Worried that it might be too abrasive on scratchable surfaces

I really liked the smell, very fresh. I was a bit concerned it might set my skin off, but it was effective and pretty gentle on my hands too.

Great! I felt it was more effective. It really does shift dirt quicker than my usual cleaning stuff.

I would buy it again, but I probably wouldn't use it for everything all the time as that is quite a bit more than I usually pay.. Maybe get it to use for a monthly blitz cleaning session.

I would mention it if someone was complaining about trying to shift a stubborn stain, as it's always good to have recommendations

I loved the smell and it did a really super job cleaning my sink and bath.

I found it very effective. My usual product is a spray and I liked the Cif texture. It seemed like it was really cleaning deep down.

I wouldn't pay £2.50 as although it is a great product, I would choose a cheaper alternative to save pennies.

The kitchen sink, it was rather grubby.

it didn't seem to work. the sink is a slightly textured plastic and teh cif cream made very little impression on the redish colour that had settled. even with lots of elbow grease. it was slightly better when I used a scouring pad as well. but I had to return to the old cheap n cheerfull own brand cream cleaner to actually clean the sink.

Not very effective. I'll continue to use either own brand cleaner or bleach.

It feels like it's doing a good job, and has a pleasant, and importantly, not overpowering, smell. I prefer a spray product, with cif I had to spread it round and felt like it took more rinsing to remove than a spray.

Equally effective.

Probably not, I'll probably stick to a cheaper spray (for both reason of price and convenience of spray).

Yes, I'd recommend it as a good product, it does what it says it'll do, but I wouldn't say it was particularly better than other products available.

The hob - WOW! To think I've been using special Hobrite stuff on it all this time, the Cif was so much easier and quicker.

I liked that no effort had been made to make it smell floral - it just smelled clean. Overall impression was good.

Very very effective, much more so than the specific product I'd always used before.

Mostly concentrated in the kitchen, s/s cooker and s/s sink, worktops etc.

I have had to change my view of Cif as being a beige and stuck in a 70's bedsit kind of product. I thought it would be rubbish and I was wrong. The smell is fine, I expected a horrible gritty feeling and it's not half as bad as I remember it being back in the day. The only thing that has annoyed me is the bottle, it's retro without trying to be.

Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product?
I have had some rust stains in my sink where tins had been left 'to soak' nothing had shifted them. Stains on the worktop, nothing touching them except a serious bleaching session which I hate doing. Along comes Cif and with only a bare minimum of scrubbing all stains and ingrained muck gone. So I am impressed. Much easier to clean my disgusting oven than with my usual cleaner and I didn't really notice that I had to rinse too much although do use a micro cloth which probably helps rid of the micro particles. I expected my eczema to flare up but it hasn't.

I probably am a convert purely because it has made me realise that many different brands of cleaner have not been working very well in my life (they do have nicer bottles though)

Kitchen work surfaces, the plastic table cloth and the top of the oven. And the outside of the cat litter box!

I found it very efficient especially on stains on the table cloth and kitchen surfaces.
I found that if you didn't wipe it properly it left a residue, wasn't pleased with that.

Although I think it's good value as it's a good product, I think there is always a cleaning spray on offer for about £1 so I'd probably buy thst instead.

The smell took me back to my childhood as my mum used "Jif" for years. Although I will say that the smell then started to get on my chest, you know how you feel you are inhaling a smell? Just like that.

It was effective and DH actually commented on how shiny the bathroom sink was. But it left a residue in the bath which annoyed me so much I had to clean the bath again. Family thought I was mad.

Nope sorry. There are cheaper products which I prefer using. And in this time of much skintness this is the bottom line.

I would say it is a good product, but ultimately you are paying through the nose for something you can get cheaper and I think better elsewhere.

Q2. I don't normally use cream cleaners but it was fine, maybe a bit chalky and bleachy.
Q3. It cleaned the sink really well, it gets a bit tea stained so bleachy affect was good for making that look cleaner.
Q4. Yes might buy again although I prefer the smaller bottle (250ml) and cream cleaners tend to last me for ages!
Q5. I might as the sink was cleaner than usual but can't imagine having a conversation about it and to be honest it's not that different to the supermarket brand one I have- it needs something more distinctive about it I think!

Very impressed, my kitchen has had some awful rust marks on it from my Le Creuset pans and I couldn't shift them with anything. All gone now - took a few minutes rubbing with a cloth and Cif and they'd disappeared. My sink has also stayed much cleaner - no limescale marks.

Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product?
Much more effective, I usually use Method/Ecover. I certainly won't be using it every day, but I will include and use once a week/fortnight for a deep clean.

I used Cif cream on the oven top and kitchen sink. I was really impressed how effortless it was to remove dried on stains and grim from the sink. It also took off crayon from the kitchen units where the usual cleaner I used failed.
I quite liked the smell, I like the shine it leaves and I will be purchasing this, I would recommend to a friend.

Reasonable product. Liked the fragrance and thought it was good on areas like bathroom sink - where it left a shine. Not so good on areas that I would usually use a spray and leave 5 mins tactic on before cleaning.

Using a cream cleaner is a bit of a blast from the past for me - as its what mum had at home. I prefer Flash bathroom as a general cleaner for the bathrooms. Cream didn't shift grease of hob and although it was good inside the kitchen cabinets I had to get the flash with bleach to get rid of the real grot! Needed lots of rinsing and buffing to prevent residue. Didn't remove scuff marks like a magic eraser.

Q4. The RRP for Cif Cream is £2.50 (500ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
I think that is expensive for what it is and wouldn't pay that price for it. There are areas I wouldn't use it on or it isn't suitable for.
Prefer a product that I can use all over (like bathroom spray or an amazing specific product - like some of the limescale products on the shower screen.

No - can't think of any area that it was outstanding in.

Q2. What was your overall impression of Cif Cream? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like? Really liked it, smelt fresh and clean, I didn't like it's effect on kitchen work tops and I won't be using it anywhere other than bathroom now.

I would like to keep using it for the bathroom, it looked so clean and two people commented on it which has never been known before! I'd be more likely to buy it on offer.
Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Cream to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not? I would recommend it but advise caution in where it's used, it's taken the shine of my kitchen work tops and left them looking dull with an awful cloudy effect.

Q1. Kitchen, bathrooms, fireplace.
Q2. Absolutely loved it. I used it on a stubborn handprint which has been on my fireplace for months which no cleaners have been able to shift. It was gone in seconds. I only had to use a little and it brought my extractor fan up shinier than when it was installed. My mum always uses Cif so don't know why I haven't been using it.
Q3. More effective on stubborn marks. It got rid of crayon marks and sticky handprints with no problem
Q4. I would buy it at £2.50 and already have sine the product test so that I can keep one upstairs and one downstairs
