That's a good price. I'd buy it to do the floors, but will stick with the eco stuff I use for other surfaces

I liked it, it was to use something thicker that wasn't a spray. But I did find that I used quite a lot in one go.

It made light work of my hob.

I would probably mention it as an alternative to others but couldn't recommend a product that cost that much. Sorry.

Seems a bit expensive for a small bottle, sure supermarket does a similar one for less.

No, I am maybe strange but I don't tend to have conversations about getting my house more sparkly.

It left the sink and bath looking shiny. The scent is quite pleasant and fresh - not too overpowering. My only concern would be the chemicals within it as I normally use eco products.

3. How did you find CIF compared to your usual cleaning products?
It seems to be as effective but lacks the eco credentials

4. The RRP is £2.50. Would you buy CIF cream again and why/why not?
I don't think so as I try to stick to eco products.

5. Would you recommend to friends/family. Why/not?
Probably not as I prefer eco products and would tend to recommend those over chemical based ones.

I have tested this now in the kitchen and bathroom, and a little on paintwork elsewhere.
I've always liked Cif, and I didn't think this was different to Cif I've used before, and I found it did clean effectively, especially on sinks and taps. It's also great for baths, especially when muddy boys have been in them!
It is easy to use too much, and I seem to remember that Jif was slightly grittier which I preferred when cleaning paintwork.
Would I spend £2.50 on it? tBh, probably not when the supermarket versions are so much cheaper and not terrible. If it went further per squirt, as it were, then I would but as I seem to be forever putting more onto the sponge, I think I'd still do for the cheaper versions. But I do like it, and if money were no object, I would certainly buy it.
I would recommend it to friends and family.

Would not buy at this price as I usually make my own cleaner as I said above, and te individual components are cheaper.

I thought it smelled quite pleasant and 'clean'. It was easy to squirt out the bottle. I didn't really like the grainyness of it though, I'm used to spray on liquid cleaners that wipe off easily though. I thought Cif left a bit of a residue.

I thought it was very effective, despite it being grainy I think that's what makes it work better though! I change products quite a lot and don't really have a usual product. It worked really well on the sinks and shower area.

It worked well and was not as hard a job as I thought it was going to be! It was quite abrasive which was a good thing around the taps on the bathroom sinks! DP was going to use it on the hob but did not like the smell so he didn't bother!

It seemed to cope better with the toothpaste and other gloop that my DC (and DP!) leave around the sinks. I think being more cream-like was a good thing as I usually use a spray which looks and smells nice but is less effective.

Yes I think so - I liked the results on the sinks. A little seemed to go a long way so seems quite cost effective too.

Not sure why I might be discussing cleanng products as I am not known for being houseproud but if it came up in conversation then yes, i would recommend this product as it was a fairly easy way to make an easy difference.

I like the cream - it's not the kind of product I normally buy, I tend to use spray cleaners, wipe on and off. It took a little longer to wipe it all off because it was slightly thicker. It smells nice.

I can't honestly say I noticed much difference. I used it to clean the outside of my stainless steel kettle and it made that nice and shiney, and then I used it on a particularly icky hob after rice had boiled over. It cleaned it but still required a lot of elbow grease, and I can't honestly say that it was any easier than the spray I normally use.

I'm afraid not. The product works, it smells nice, but I can get other products which do a similar job in an easier to use spray bottle which cost less. I will be keeping this bottle to clean the kettle though and the microwave when I get round to it as it did give a nice shine.

I wouldn't. We rarely discuss cleaning products but I am not so pleased with it that I have to tell someone about it. If someone asked me about it I would say it was a good cleaner.

Quite liked the smell and it wasnt grainy like the Cif I have used in the past. No chalky feeling on my hands afterwards either.

Like others have said - using a cream it is easy to use too much, I always seem to either get too small a blob or a large puddle which then soaks into the cloth! I think it was fab on the greasy kitchen and also made a good impression on the limescale in the shower and bathroom sink.

I think I will keep some in the cupboard and use it every few cleans, I think spray is easier and the extra cost and possible over squirting (helped because it is runny) would make me think twice about using it as my regular cleaner. It does smell less "disinfectanty"and chemical which is a big plus as I hate that smell.

I would certainly talk about it and my experiences and would suggest people try it - although it probably wouldnt be something which came up naturally in conversation!

I like the scent, very fresh and covered up the vomity smell very well. I prefer spray on cleaners though, so using a cream seemed a bit wasteful after always using sprays in the past.

I used to use Cif cream a lot when it was called Jif but preferred this new formula as it was smooth, not as grainy. The new Cif had a smooth texture which was easy to use. It was wonderful at degreasing in the kitchen - I used it on the cooker hood and in the oven, both of them greasy - and it cut straight through even old grease. Also removed an irritating stain in my bathroom sink, and great on the base of the shower.
It needed a good rinse after use.

Very effective indeed on grease stains, well, any stains. I usually use spray cleaners but this was better.

This is more than I usually pay, but I would buy a bottle and use it occasionally.

Overall I liked how the Cif cleaned, I liked how it made the cleaning fairly effortless, nothing I didn't like.

I liked the smell, it didn't smell 'chemically' like some other cream cleaners I've used.
I found it a little more runny than I was used to so squirted too much out the first time but got used to this.

It was very effective on the sink/cooker cleaning stains and lime scale with no difficulty. The only thing it had trouble shifting was a tea stain where a used tea bag had been left on the work top. It did eventually get rid after a couple of goes.

Possibly as I found the smell of it much more pleasant than my usual supermarket own brand.

It was as I remembered it from years ago when it was Jif. A bit runny, white and distinctive fresh smell

Found it better on ceramic cooker top than my usual - orange Hob Brite - gave a better shine. Was about the same on sinks, baths and shower

A bit on the pricey side for a kitchen/bathroom cleaner - maybe pay that for a 'top quality' product but I don't see Cif in that range - it's functional. The marginal difference in results don't merit the increase in price - plus because it's runny you use more than you would with a spray

I quite liked it. I'd always thought it was a bit old-fashioned but the smell was nice and it cleaned well. Didn't like the 'grittiness' on worktops and also thought it was quite runny.

It was good - worked well on the hob and on my white sink which is impossible to keep clean.

I'll probably look out for it on offer. I think I still prefer a spray cleaner though (sorry ) as I am a very lazy cleaner and the Cif took longer to rinse away.

It cleaned my cooker top quickly and easily, and gave my bath and sink a lovely shine. I really like the smell, which wasn't too overpowering but smelled very 'clean'.

Gave a nicer finish and smelled better.

pretty good, I noticed it more on the harder to reach and tougher to clean bits such as under the shower door - it did a good job there, better than my usual cleaning stuff.

yes probably would, but would only use it in the areas which need a good cleaner and use my supermarket own one for everyday bits and bobs

yes. It didn't smell horrible or take my breath, it cleaned well and I didn't need to use a lot of it

I used the product in the bathroom. It is the first time in a long time that I've used anything other than a spray product so I was unsure how much to use and it took longer to rinse away than usual. I liked the smell a lot. It was pretty effective and im sure judging amounts will come with more use. The price is more than I would normally pay but I would buy it but only use it for certain things eg hard to clean bits of the shower. I doubt it would come up in conversation but I would recommend the product.
