DS is 28 months and we tried the size 5.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I like them, easy to use and very absorbent, I would use them again. Wasn't keen on the characters on the front though, DS has no idea who they are, not every toddler is that 'into' tv and especially one particular programme, whereas most children are into animals etc so think that would be a better option and would appeal to more parents as well. I for one, am not that keen on buying into tv brands.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes I did, especially when DS is in one of those moods where he won't lie still! Great to be able to pull them on as he's literally running away from me. Also very easy to rip the sides to take off, I was worried about the possibility of the sides tearing accidentally when pulling them on but that didn't happen.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

No I haven't.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would definitely recommend them to parents of toddlers that don't lie still for having their nappy put on, or those that want to wear big boy / girl pants but aren't quite ready.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money? Why?

I think they're expensive compared to conventional nappies that I buy, you're paying extra for a little convenience really. I would definitely buy them on special offer but would be reluctant to pay full price.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would and will use them again, easy to put on for a wriggly child and absorbent as well.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes my son won't stay still for too long so I found this great as they are quick to put on.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

Swimming nappies, quite similar but the pampers pull up fit better.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend especially when starting too potty train.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are a little bit expensive but i'm finding them quick and convenient, I will keep using them especially during the day with so many nappy changes and use my usual pampers dry at night time :)

Lucygracie10 · 18/07/2013 21:35

They at great. So much easier, and my little girl looks so much more comfier in them :)

ash121284 · 18/07/2013 21:48

So here we go.. I started using the pull ups straight after they arrived. My LO is 10 months old and i tries the size 4 on her.

Q1: I really liked the Dora characters on the nappies though my daughter is too small to really know about her! I think my son ( he's 6 was the one who most excited at seeing Dora and Diego lol!! ) I also thought the nappies looked smaller than the usual ones but they did fit nicely without being too snug.

Q2: Was very easy to use especially as changing times are becoming more and more difficult. It would usually take ages before i could get a clean nappy on her as she wriggles and kicks so much!! Found the pull ups great at that. Just wack the dirty nappy off, clean her up and presto.. Nappy's on in a a couple of seconds!!! I was a bit doubtful of using them at night but they held up even though my daughter sleeps from 8 p.m till 7 a.m. I did find them a bit bulky though and the sides were a bit flimsy as they came off a few times while i was adjusting them on her :-(

Q3: I have used pull ups before with my son who's now 6. We used huggies and other brands as he was allergic to pampers.. I think they're rather expensive compared to other brands. True they're effective but so are the other brands i have used. I think you're basically paying for the characters on them.

Q4: I would recommend pampers pull ups to other mums if the price doesn't put them off.

Q5: To be honest, i do think the pull ups are rather expensive as you only get 22 in a pack. I think i'd only buy them if they were on offer and not at full price.

AWhistlingWoman · 18/07/2013 21:54

Tried these with DS1, aged 2 years and 2 months. We tried size 5.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Nice design although DS1 was far more impressed with the animals on the back than the Dora on the front! They are nice and compact, easy to slip quite a lot in the pocket of a changing bag. Not as bulky as a nappy which helps with the fit of clothes. Good fit on DS1 who is narrow in the hips but still had a couple of leaks up the back when poo was involved!

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Really easy to get on, DS1 could just step in without any of the repeated to 'please lie down on your mat . . . etc' Easy to simply pull down when wet, bit more tricky when full of poo!

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

I have used Huggies Step In Nappies, Huggies Pull Ups and Sainsburys Little Ones pull on pants before. DS1 is, sadly, obsessed with the Lightning McQueen pictures on the Pull Ups (so I'm afraid that Dora lost out there!)

Step In Nappies - Quite similar but I find the Pampers are a better fit and a slimmer nappy.
Pull Ups - I think that these are quite a bit more expensive and I really dislike the whole boys and girls split in the packaging (having had a girl who loved Cars)
Sainsburys Little Ones - are quite a bit cheaper but I found these weren't as absorbent as Pampers although they were still nice and thin. Maybe better for when potty training is going in earnest?

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I think I would - they are easier to get on and off a child who is not keen to lie down to have a nappy fastened up and are still absorbent enough to keep urine away from the skin.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are reasonably good value for money, less expensive than Huggies Pull Ups but quite a bit more pricey than supermarket own brand products or conventional nappies. Would probably try and buy them when they are on promotion.

AWhistlingWoman · 18/07/2013 21:55

Erm bold fail Blush

Hopezibah · 18/07/2013 22:07

We were trying size 5 on 15 month old girl. (have also completed the survey and left a review).

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Thought they were great and really solved a problem of a wriggling toddler for us! Would use again for this reason and because they have the trusted pampers absorbency.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

yes.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

Used a different brand in the past but it was so leaky. Pampers way better!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes - I always recommend pampers! They are my fave choice of nappy!

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

prices seem high - but then again nappies do cost a lot so given the absorbency is better than other brands, I would say they are good value for money.

Magdalena7 · 18/07/2013 23:09

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Good looking and seems comfy for my son. I'll use them again probably when my son will be on potty training. I hope he will be able to push them up and down himself.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

More convenient for my son when he was wearing them than for me putting them on. Quite easy to use, but probably easier for standing than lying baby

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

I haven't.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Probably I would recommended them. They are comfy for baby and easier to put them on than standard nappy, but not the best for baby which can't really move (crawling, standing, walking)

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think they are too expensive for everyday use, might be better for short trips, holidays or going out and about where changing nappy is more difficult.

heyday · 19/07/2013 01:01

My 2 year old is doing well at potty training but going out with him without a nappy is very hard so pampers easy up pants are a wonderful transition. They fit very well and look nice but far too expensive to use too regularly. For a parent in the midst of potty training a toddler I would definitely recommend them

chezg · 19/07/2013 06:35

recieved my free pack and started using straight away ..wasnt sure how id feel using pull ups on my eleven month old but have to say they are brilliant so easy quick no fuss fit well keep baby dry and flexiable for baby to move around easily ..will continue to use

Pomtastic · 19/07/2013 09:02

DD has just turned 16 months & we tried size 6.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

My overall impression was that they are fairly good - plus points were:

  • moderately easy to get on
  • stayed on whilst DD tumbled around
  • were a surprisingly good fit (DD is 34lb, so over the top centile for weight for her age, and 91st centile for height - most size 6's dig into her waist & thighs but these were more elasticated)
  • Fitted well at the back & didn't have that annoying gap that can cause a nappy to fall down if they're not wearing clothes in the heat

However, they fell down on my two most crucial requirements of a nappy: they weren't absorbent enough & would be expensive were I to buy them (c. 34p a nappy, whereas non-pullup size 6's are 19p with Amazon subscribe & save).

The absorbency really was quite poor for us - after 2 hours they'd leak out of the side onto floors, sofas, our legs if holding DD...we use cloth nappies part time & they last longer than these pull ups! When we use a disposable in the day it's because we want the absorbency to last longer than a cloth nappy (ie due to travelling) - making these a bit pointless for us personally.

As a family who have made an individual choice for us personally to avoid DD becoming familiar with commercial 'characters' or TV, I disliked the cartoon character on the front on the nappy.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
They were easy to use (it was helpful to be able to put them on & rip them off a standing toddler), and convenient with the exception of the low absorbency time.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
No, not so far

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Possibly - they did stay on and fit well, but were expensive & needed a lot of changes.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

No - they are a little less than double the price I pay for a non-pull up size 6, and need changing twice as much.

ildiavolovesteprada · 19/07/2013 10:11

DS is 2y8m & we tried size 6.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Probably not. They were alright. They felt flimsier than a rivals pull ups ime, perhaps in an attempt to feel like proper pants.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
They were easy to get off cos the sides were so delicate
I liked the tab to be able to wrap them up to throw away
The sides felt at risk from tearing when putting legs through the holes

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
Yes, Huggies and I feel they are more robust

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Unlikely - for reasons given above.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They seem cheaper than my current brand so I suppose so.

ChrissieTay · 19/07/2013 11:14

Son is 2 and a half (3 in 2 months!) and I had the Size 6 (XL) to test ...

Q1 - My overall impression is that I am really pleased, due to the comfort of the pants, how much and how well they absorb and how much of a clever accompaniment they are to my son's potty training!

Q2 - I believe they are definitely convenient and easy, mainly because my son has learned to pull them up and take them down himself, plus if the nappy is a soiled or messy one, they can easily be torn either side rather than taken down and have the risk of making a further mess, so to speak!

Q3 - I've never used an alternative brand of Pull-up, however I have and do use other branded regular nappies. Of all the brands used and tested, I can honestly admit to Pampers being the winner for me anytime!

Q4 - I would, and have, recomended this brand and nappy style to others due to their overall quality.

Q5 - I don't think they are a bank-breaker when it comes to cost, but compared to some of the other brands available, the cost is the only negative for me unfortunately.

I also used this brand and type for my oldest son who is now 5, when he was a younger toddler in potty training!

perrinelli · 19/07/2013 12:40

Dd2 is 2 years 1 month and we used size 5

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Positive overall impression and I would use them again. They're very convenient to put on a wriggly toddler as I can put them up when she's standing up. I also found them reliable and they didn't leak.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes very convenient. Did nappy change standing up unless she was dirty.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

With my older daughter I tried pampers but didn't get on well with them and found they leaked. I used to use huggies pull-ups which I was happy with.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes because of the convenience and dd2 feeling 'grown up'

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Reasonably good value.

Katmoore · 19/07/2013 13:53

I tried them on my 10month little boy.
Overall I loved the design and ease of these easy ups. I would use them again but when he's older. He's still at the leg wiggle stage and kept pulling his first leg out when I was putting the second in! Lol!
I did find the easier to use but still a little fiddly but that's my boys age.
I used the huggies pull up with my older daughter. I found these much softer!
I would definatley recommend these to other mummy's!
I feel they are worth there price for on the go mummy's!

MAsMum · 19/07/2013 14:49

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
My son is 4 and although he goes through the day in pants he needs pull ups at night. I find them good.
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes, I found them easy to use.
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
Yes, I have used other brands but they were not as absorbent as Pampers.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why
Yes, due to the absorbency
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are expensive but they are the only product in this sector which do not leak. It would be good however to have the occasional promotion on them plus no 6's are harder to find in supermarkets.

Mummy2aRockstar · 19/07/2013 20:04

My 1 year old son tested size 5
Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I loved how easy nappy changes were with my wiggly toddler, normally I have to fight for 20 mins to get a change done but it was done in 2 mins with the pull ups. I would buy them again but when my son is a little older and ready for potty training because I found that they don't hold in poo (a few times I've found poo on the floor where he was playing) and they don't absorb as much wee as his active fit nappies. I was impressed by the tab on the back which made it easy to roll up the nappy and wipes and was a god send during his birthday party when he went in the paddling pool but I couldn't leave him to put the nappy in the bin.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes as said above they made nappy changes quick and easy and were brilliant in this hot weather when they are all he is wearing.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
No, first time using pull ups.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend them but for children slightly older and ready for potty changing as explained in Q1.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I think they are expensive (like all nappies) but they seem well made and easy to use so I would still pay this amount.

Skoggy · 19/07/2013 20:51

Hi there!

I have been using the Easy Ups, size 6, for my 2 year old DD1. And, to make things a bit interesting, she currently is having stomach problems. Sad

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Ok, so my over all impression was good. They fitted and hugged her nicely. They looked quite nice as well. Even given the fact that DD1 had a bad belly and there were leakages (sorry tmi), the overall performance was good. They were quite soft as well.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Oh yes, very easy to use. The sticky tape for closing the discarded nappy is a great idea.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
I have used a stores own brand before and, to be honest, I wouldn't rate Pampers Easy Up any better or any worse.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I'm not too sure, to be honest. They were very good at what they do but, as I have stated, I wouldn't rate them any better or worse that a certain store brand I have used. The only plus point that would maybe push it would be that they can be rolled up and "fastened" after use.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are quite expensive, to be honest. I do not believe that the carry pack for £6.49 (size 6 so you get 19) is good value at all. I would have expected any of the packs to be a bit cheaper.

oceanzycia · 19/07/2013 21:42

I love them ! Best nappies I've ever used before. Comparing to normal ones they much easier to put on and seating well on my lo bum. I'm already recommending them to other mums and price is good to as my boy not using more then 4-5 a day! Thank you Pampers for letting me try them!!!

Charandella · 19/07/2013 21:52

Using size 5 on a 22 month old

Q1 I liked the designs an the front and back my little one didn't seem to care about that. They seemed thinner then other pampers but i had no leakages. They fitted her very nice and she was comfy running around in them i was very happy with them.

Q2 I found them easy to use and they helped at nappy changes as she hates laying still at the moment , they made it quicker as i could just pull on and off. I also thought the sticky tab a good idea.

Q3 No never used pull ups before.

Q4 Yes because it makes nappy changes fast and easy, and they may help for potty training.

Q5 I do think they are a lot of money for the amount you get but as little one is comfy in them would get them for daytime use for all that running around

Jenstarplus1 · 19/07/2013 21:59

I like the ease of getting these on, especially as my 18mth old has gone off being still during changing! however, I find these a bit small compared to standard pampers and don't trust them not to leak.

oceanzycia · 19/07/2013 22:05

Testing size 4 on my 14m old

Leedsunited1983 · 19/07/2013 22:06

I received my easy up pants at the beginning of this week, and I can honestly say they are so much better than huggies pull ups my daughter can wear them all day n even if she has an accident it doesn't leak unlike other brands n she loves the fact that dora is on the front of them Grin

pinkandsparklytoo · 19/07/2013 23:05

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Wouldyou use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I thought that the nappies were quite good. They managed to contain a few runny messes and DS even made it through a night without it leaking. I would probably use them again if I saw them on offer as they are expensive compared to other nappies.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes the Easy Up Pants were very convenient to use. They were a little awkward if DS was lying down to be changed but it was nothing major.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of yourchildren? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

I have used Easy Up Pants with my elder son when he was going through a stage of being awkward with lying down for nappy changes. I found them more absorbant than the Huggies equivalent which were not much more than a swimming nappy.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy UpPants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend them for their ease of use.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants costbelow - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I find that Pampers are quite expensive compared to my usual nappy brand.

pinkandsparklytoo · 19/07/2013 23:05

I forgot to say that I was testing size 5 on a 2.5yr old.
