Tried these with DS1, aged 2 years and 2 months. We tried size 5.
Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Nice design although DS1 was far more impressed with the animals on the back than the Dora on the front! They are nice and compact, easy to slip quite a lot in the pocket of a changing bag. Not as bulky as a nappy which helps with the fit of clothes. Good fit on DS1 who is narrow in the hips but still had a couple of leaks up the back when poo was involved!
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Really easy to get on, DS1 could just step in without any of the repeated to 'please lie down on your mat . . . etc' Easy to simply pull down when wet, bit more tricky when full of poo!
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
I have used Huggies Step In Nappies, Huggies Pull Ups and Sainsburys Little Ones pull on pants before. DS1 is, sadly, obsessed with the Lightning McQueen pictures on the Pull Ups (so I'm afraid that Dora lost out there!)
Step In Nappies - Quite similar but I find the Pampers are a better fit and a slimmer nappy.
Pull Ups - I think that these are quite a bit more expensive and I really dislike the whole boys and girls split in the packaging (having had a girl who loved Cars)
Sainsburys Little Ones - are quite a bit cheaper but I found these weren't as absorbent as Pampers although they were still nice and thin. Maybe better for when potty training is going in earnest?
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I think I would - they are easier to get on and off a child who is not keen to lie down to have a nappy fastened up and are still absorbent enough to keep urine away from the skin.
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are reasonably good value for money, less expensive than Huggies Pull Ups but quite a bit more pricey than supermarket own brand products or conventional nappies. Would probably try and buy them when they are on promotion.
