F&F has asked us to find 100 MNers to test out their F&F schoolwear range with their DC and provide feedback.

Here's what F&F say about their range, "At F&F we're really proud of the value and quality of our products and have spent the last year really improving our schoolwear range. Our schoolwear offering, which is available online all year round, is designed to last. With features including Teflon® fabric protector across skirts, trousers and pinafores, we believe that we've made it easier to get those stains out. Also, we've included adjustable waistbands to ensure a more comfortable fit for your children that will also help the items last that little bit longer as they grow. Finally, we've helped reduce the ironing with our permanent pleats in skirts. We'd love to see what Mumsnetters think about our F&F schoolwear range and we want to know if you agree with the outstanding quality too!"

We're looking for UK Mumsnetters, who have at least one child of school age who wears school uniform, to put the range to the test before the new term starts. If you are selected, you will be sent £100 worth of Tesco online vouchers*. We'd like you to use some of this to buy items from the F&F back to school range and the rest is a gift for you from F&F to treat yourself to some new items for the school run!

Delivery charges aren't included in the e-coupons, however there is the option to 'Click and Collect' which delivers your order to your nearby Tesco, free of charge, by the next day if you place your order by 3pm. We are aware that the summer holidays are fast approaching so we're looking for Mumsnetters who are available to carry out this product test as soon as possible.

Once you have had a chance to purchase a few items and kit your DCs out in a new uniform we'll ask you to get your LOs to put it through its paces and for you to give it a couple of washes before adding your feedback to a thread on MN.

If you're interested in taking part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck,

Michelle @ MNHQ

NB: You will receive x4 £25 vouchers, for each voucher you will need to spend the full value, or more.

Didn't read the thread properly. All Scottish kids should be discounted then as they're off on holiday now Sad so my form should be binned too

noisytoys · 06/07/2013 12:03

We break up on the 23rd so have a good few weeks to test. DD grows so quick she's gone from age 5 to age 8 clothes in a year!!!

yetanotherworry · 06/07/2013 12:11

We are a family that can test out a uniform in a week. Nothing more gutting than spending money on 'quality' M+S trousers for 1 child only to have holes in the knees the first week of wearing, and the second child always manages to attract pen and paint to her nice new white shirts with a day.

FannyFifer · 06/07/2013 12:25

Just saw us Scots need not apply, didn't notice that its not for all in the UK.

FannyFifer · 06/07/2013 12:28

Crosses Tesco of my list of retailers to purchase school uniform from this year.

MonsterBookOfTyRexs · 06/07/2013 13:17

Yes please, m and s white t shirts are naff, ds got a hole in near the button and they wash appallingly!

fuzzpig · 06/07/2013 16:12

Done :)

TheOneWithTheHair · 06/07/2013 17:59

Done.

florencebabyjo · 06/07/2013 19:11

Just a thought for our Scottish friends, could you not buy next years uniform and then just try out a few times now. You could then save it for September. The kids might think you've gone mad making them wear it now they are on holiday, but you could always tell them you're playing schools! :)

BroomsticksAreForFlying · 06/07/2013 19:24

Done. Unlikely to be picked, but with my tribe who have all been growing/removing knees from trousers it would be very helpful

AtYourCervix · 06/07/2013 19:40

Done but it would't accept my ticks in the right boxes.

DD is 15. Yes I do have a Tesco account . And uniform is usually bought in Tesco, Asda, Newlook or any other shop that offers anything vaguelly acceptable.

ldt87 · 06/07/2013 19:44

Done, this would be great to take part in!

likesnowflakesinanocean · 06/07/2013 20:13

done, fingers crossed because i have replaced so much uniform due to ripped knees and buckles and a primary school child who grows at an alarming rate!

ClaimedByMe · 06/07/2013 20:34

I have just realised being in Scotland my form needs binned too.

Done - we don't break up until 24 th. The polo shirts I bought from m&s have been v poor quality - shrank on first wash back in September, have holes near the buttons and look terrible. He is quite hard on his uniform and it gets washed most days so could definitely test thoroughly!

melissa2828 · 06/07/2013 23:19

Done- Would love to test this, kids dont break up for a few weeks yet and I am forever washing School clothes so they would really be put to the test by my children!

snala · 06/07/2013 23:50

Done, one Pre schooler in uniform and one at primary school. Currently using m and s. Wink

dontmeanto · 07/07/2013 05:28

Done. Please pick us...I've squeezed my DS into shorts which are about two sizes too small last week. We also don't break up til the 24th so plenty of time to test. Also, his birthday is in August so would love for one year to not make his birthday budget stretch to new school uniform stuff!

GladbagsGold · 07/07/2013 07:24

Done. Both DC schools have introduced new sweatshirts lately = spend a fortune if you want your child sporting current logo. Tesco providing trousers shorts and shirts would be awesome!

MeHearty · 07/07/2013 07:32

Oops - have just filled out and realised I shouldn't have as my dc doesn't start until sept. Delete me!

SoupDragon · 07/07/2013 08:08

Really? Have Wales broken up too then?

aristocat · 07/07/2013 08:48

We also finish school on the 24th and would be available to do this Smile

LuisSuarezTeeth · 07/07/2013 08:57

I'm desperate to be honest - both little ones have ripped holes in their trousers and I have altered an old pair for DS 5. He promptly put another hole in those (Asda ones). I'd happily test until the end of term!

DoodleAlley · 07/07/2013 09:06

Ok I've completed this and then seem it excludes those starting in September. If I was lucky enough to get picked could I test it by sending him to his practise days and pre school in it? He'd love doing that as he is super excited about school!

likesnowflakesinanocean · 07/07/2013 09:10

same here Luis with asda ss has ripped all the silver hooks off his, and The knees are all tatty
