I tried size 4 nappies.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I found these nappies to be really good. I would (and do) use them again.

Great for keeping my little man dry.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I can leave my baby all night in Pampers baby dry nappies safe in the knowledge he will be dry in the morning.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I only tend to use Pampers baby dry, but I have used another stores own brand, which were the same price as my usual nappy and I have to say that Pampers kept my little man drier than the store brand.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would definitely recommend these nappies to a friend as I believe you get good quality nappies at an affordable price.

Dylanlovesbaez · 21/05/2013 14:26

My baby is one and size tried was size 4.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I liked them, they seemed thinner than other nappies we have tried and dd could move around easily in them, they didn't rub at all and went high enough up the back to avoid back splat! Would use again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
Dryness was fab compared to other brands we've tried, particularly as they seemed so much thinner. We had leakage once but I do think they are larger than other size 4s.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Very good value for money.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would recommend because they caused no rubbing, the fit was good and dd could move comfortably.

MiniZilla · 21/05/2013 20:05

I tried the size 3 nappies on 18 week old DD.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I liked them, they seemed good quality and the sticky tabs have stayed put which has been an problem with some own brand nappies. I've already used the voucher that came with the nappies to buy another pack.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
I was impressed with how they kept DD dry overnight in particular. Wee leaks haven?t been a problem, however we have had issues with poo leaks up the back of the nappies. All nappies seem to do this with DD though!

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are good value for money, as you end up using less of them, particularly overnight. Plus you don't have to bin any because the sticky tabs have come off while trying to fasten the nappy.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would definitely recommend them, especially for use overnight. DD was dry and comfortable.

mum2jakie · 21/05/2013 20:54

I tried size 4 nappies on my two year old son.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Very impressed. My son is now dry by day so these were only used overnight but he is still a heavy wetter whilst asleep. Despite being at the top of the recommended weight, the Pampers did not leak at all for the full 12 hours used.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

These were very reliable with absolutely no leakage.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Yes. I think these nappies are excellent value for money. They might be more expensive than non-branded options but they are 100% reliable and are comfortable for my son to wear so I'm more than happy to pay the difference.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, repeatedly.

kellyfu · 21/05/2013 21:57

I used size 4 baby dry nappies for my 1 year old boy.

Q1

I though the nappies were brilliant and would definitely use them again.

Q2

I though they were the best I had used. There was no leakage what so ever, lasted 12 hrs overnight.

Q3

I think they are expensive compared to the leading brand, but cheaper in the long run. Cheap nappies can be a false economy.

Q4

I would and have recommended Pampers Baby Dry nappies. In fact I use no others now.

ZuleikaJambiere · 22/05/2013 08:24

My daughter tested the size 3 nappies and is (a dainty) 15 months old.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I've used Pampers Baby-Dry before and I will continue to use them. No leakage, no rashes, so great for my daughter. I've had to bin a couple as I managed to rip the tabs right off as I was opening them out to put them on DD - I've never had that happen with any nappy brand before so it was annoying to waste 2 nappies.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
We haven't had any leakage since we've been using the sample pack, although saying that DD isn't one for filling her nappy to the brim overnight anyway.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I buy Pampers when they are on offer, as they are significantly more expensive than other brands. If not, then I use Boots, Tesco or Wilkos own. However I prefer Pampers as they are less bulky, and the packs are easier to carry (round the shops) and open. As my town only has a very small Boots and Tesco, they don't stock anything larger than the economy pack. I'm sure if I could get the bigger and better value packs I would.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend Pampers, but whenever I'm talking to parents to be I suggest they try a range of brands to find out which best suits them and their baby.

mjanus · 22/05/2013 10:18

I have used size 3 on my 5 months old baby boy

  1. I found Pampers Baby Dry really good for my little one, there is no leaks after whole night, they are very good quality and I will use them again, just for sure.

  2. They are much better to protect my baby from leaks and keep my baby skin dry than other brands.

3)I think they are relatively quite expensive than other brands

  1. I would definitely use them again and recommend them as they have good quality.
StroppyPoppy · 22/05/2013 12:32

I was trying the size three for my DD who is 9 months old.
Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They looked good, slim and felt soft. I liked the stretch in the waistband bit as my DD is a bit of a wriggler.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They were a lot drier than other nappies I?ve used. They lasted the promised 12 hours and often felt dry in the morning, even though I could tell DD had made them wet. Her skin did sometimes feel a bit wet. She had a tiny bit of nappy rash before we began with the Pampers nappies and that cleared right up.
Another good thing is that they didn?t go all fat like some brands do. They must have been more comfortable to wear.
We only had one leak but that was when DD had a tummy bug. Nothing would have caught that! Grin

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I?d tried the newborn nappies before but they got a bit expensive for the number of changes I had to do. Now she?s older (and not making quite so many dirty nappies) it works out at much better value. DD is at nursery now and really needs her sleep, so anything that helps is worth the money IMO.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend them. If it was too expensive it would be worth buying just to use at night as I?ve found they genuinely last the 12 hours.

cherrycherry41 · 22/05/2013 14:28

I tested the size 4 nappies for my 7 month old DD. She is around 10kg at the moment.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Overall i was impressed with the nappies, i have used other types of Pampers nappies in the past and i have never really had a problem with them. They are very stretchy and thin unlike other nappies on the market but this did not compromise their ability to soak up what is needed. They were softer than other brands too- more of a cotton like feel rather than the plastic feel a lot have. I would use them again, they fit my DD well, she seemed comfortable with no irritation and they did exactly what was promised. I also liked the design on them.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
Normally i buy Asda's Little Angels as they have a similar absorbancy to Pampers but are much cheaper. I used Pambers New baby in the first 2 months and Pampers Simply dry until i discovered Little Angels. I had no problems with dryness and leakages with any of these. I found Huggies Newborn to be shockingly poor for absorbancy and DD would often leak between nappy changes so we gave the rest of the box away. I have not tried any others.
DD has her nappy changed around 5 times a day and will have her night time nappy on between 10-14 hours as she sleeps very well. Pampers Baby Dry did not leak between these times and the only leak we had was a 'poo explosion' that in hindsight probably wouldnt be preventable in any nappy!!

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
If Pampers are on offer than i normally buy then. I would not purchase them otherwise as i dont see them as good value for money where i can get a similar product (Little Angels) at a cheaper price. I normally get 88 Little Angels size 4+ nappies for £10 whereas i would have to spend £12 for 78 nappies in the Pampers Baby Dry range.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would definitely recommend Pampers New Baby nappies as i they are the best on the market for young babies. I would recommend Baby Dry if they are on offer but i would probably suggest Little Angels to mums with babies similar ages to my DD as would most mums that i know, most of them prefer Little Angels between the ages of 4 months and 3 years. I dont think Baby Dry nappies are as cost friendly as they should be for the same quality of supermarket brands.

aliphil · 22/05/2013 16:17

I used size 4 for my 9 mo daughter.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They were absolutely fine as nappies, but we didn't see any benefit to them over the Pampers Active Fit that we normally use, so wouldn't use them again unless they were on a very good offer. They smell a bit odd.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

No different to Pampers Active Fit which is the only other one we've used recently.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Average value for money, see above.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I might mention them if they told me they were having serious problems with night-time leaks, but I couldn't honestly tell them Baby-Dry would solve all their problems when they seem no different to Active Fit to me.

nitka · 22/05/2013 21:01

I'm very happy with Baby Dry nappies. I have tested Baby Dry nappies in size 4 for 2 weeks with my 8 month old boy. We are happy with them, would definiteley buy them again.
They are nice and thin, and seems to be comfy for sensitive bums :) They can absorb a lot!

Most of the nights were dry but twice he woke up being wet. I've noticed the leaking in the front. However they protect my boy better then other nappies we've used previously (we've had a problem with poo coming out of them)

They could cost a little bit less, but if I'm paying for the quality and comfort of my child, then I don't mind spending a little extra.

I would surely reccomend them to another parent. They are keeping my boy dryier a lot more than other brands, and we never had a rash since using Pampers!!

flipflopper · 22/05/2013 22:23

I was testing size 3 nappies on my 8 month old dd.

1.I was very happy with the nappies. They are very thin and thy feel nice- not plasticky at all like some cheaper ones are. They have an attractive pattern. The stickers are easy to fasten to make th nappy secure. I would use them again.

  1. They are better in comparison to other brands in terms of dryness and leakages. Since I have been using them, we haven't had a leak, and they easily last for 12hrs overnight.

3.I think they are quite expensive, and would use them all the time if they were a bit cheaper. I buy them when they are on offer ad use them mainly at night time as they don't leak, and also when teething/ have sore bum. Cost is very important, and I find that Tesco own brand nappies are good, apart from they leak overnight, so I will continue to use them through the day.

  1. Yes, I would recommend them for people having trouble with overnight leakage.
twistybookworm · 22/05/2013 23:25

I tried the size 4 on my 13 month old son. I would definitely buy them again and recommend them to others. There were no leaks, and on one morning when I overslept and had to take my daughters to school, so didn't have time to even change his bum, the nappy was on considerable longer than 12 hours and still didn't leak. They are pricey, but to be honest they are worth it.

syskywalker · 23/05/2013 13:27

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
well they are nappies the fit also a bit big on the legs for my slim line baby. maybe use as an emergency back up.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

in terms of dryness an leakage they can not compare to a cloth nappy. we had a tummy bug in our house so I thought we use the pampers for it as its easier to deal with but boy was I wrong, it went everywhere I had to scrub the cot, yet a little lambs fitted bamboo nappy with a bombproof wrap over the top held it all in. pampers just don't fit well enough on waist and legs unless you have a chunk.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They re not bad for value but I'd still only buy them on offer even for the rare times we do use disposables now, they are not amazingly affordable and shop own often have better offers on.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

due to a lack of huggies now id say they are a good disposable nappy to use (we have discovered cloth but I won't try n badger others to use it, its their choice) however if asked about absorbency and fit for leakage issue id recommend to either use cloth with a bombproof wrap over the top or a couple of the wraps to go ver the pampers if needed best of both worlds.

MonstersDontCry · 23/05/2013 14:04

I tried size 4 for my 20 month old DD.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I was very impressed with them and would definitely use them again. I can't believe how thin they are compared to other nappies I have used. I also liked the animal designs on the front and back. The only critisism I really have, is that they went quite saggy after about two hours of DD wearing them. It didn't affect DD at all but I just didn't like how it looked. That's just me being petty though.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They were alot drier than other nappies i've used in the past, I was very impressed. After a 13 hour sleep and a very heavy nappy, DDs skin was still dry in the morning whereas other nappies have left her skin slightly damp. I finished the pack this morning and I did not have one leaky nappy.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I don't think the smaller packs are very good value for money, but the bigger ones are. Even though I really liked these nappies, I wouldn't use them all the time. I will definitely buy them again but I think I wil just use them at night time for DD.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend these nappies to other parents, especially to those complaining about leaky/wet nappies at night as I found these nappies were much more capable of holding more than other nappies.

Michelle777 · 23/05/2013 14:50

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I really liked them as they kept my baby dry and comfortable. I will use them again for sure.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They are better than other brands, in fact, I only buy Pampers.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Yes, they are fine. Watch out for offers!!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would. I tried a few brands and Pampers are the best by far.

jetstar · 23/05/2013 15:30

Our baby is 11 months old and we were trying size 4 nappies.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

We liked the nappies and we have been using them for a while tbh. We will continue to use them as they do seem to be the best we have found for not leaking! I like the fact that they feel softer than other nappies.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They are better than Huggies and supermarket own ones we have tried (and this is our second baby) which do seem to leak more. I also prefer them to the active fit ones.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think they are a more expensive option but in terms of comfort for my baby they are worth it I think. We haven?t had any allergy problems with Pampers which we did with a supermarket brand which gave my daughter a rash.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend them to other parents as they do the job well.

?I was picked by MNHQ to review this product, which I received for free. This review is in my own words and reflects my true opinion."

Lillabet · 23/05/2013 18:42

Size 4 for my 6.5 month old DD.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
They work well for wee and keep my DD dry through the night (although this doesn't guarentee 12hours of golden sleep for me!!) but they are not so good at stopping poo-namis!
Would you use them again? Yes
If so, why? They work, they are reasonable value for money (I don't think I have ever paid full price for a pack as the supermarkets are always running one deal or another) and the poop explosions notwithstanding they are reliable.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
They are definitely drier than most and they don't leak as others I have tried in the past. Poo does tend to travel up the back of them so they leak in that respect (Pampers could do with addressing this!) but not out of the sides as long as the frilly bits are pulled out appropriately.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies
cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not?
At full price, no they aren't great value for money (although I do use fewer than cheaper brands) but like I said above I don't think I have ever paid full price for a pack as the supermarkets always have them on a deal.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents?
Yes, if they asked my opinion on disposable nappies I would recommend them.
Because they work for me, they are softer than own brands, they are convenient (in that I can get them from most supermarkets), they are effective and they stay on!

Hannah9012 · 23/05/2013 20:21

I tested the size 4 nappies on my 11 month old.

Q1 Was very impressed with the nappies as there were no leaks and kept my baby dry all night. Would definitely use them again.

Q2 Much better than other brands I have tried.

Q3 They aren't the cheapest option but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Q4 Yes would recommend as are very good quality.

Fluffyemenent · 23/05/2013 21:23

I tried size 4. I already used pampers as had found these are the least likely to leak but with my little boy I had been having some leaking around the legs during the night. Since trying the new pampers we haven't had any leaks and they have even managed a few early morning poo incidents without leaking. I am really impressed. They are also less bulky than many other brands.

pickles184 · 24/05/2013 12:16

I tested the size 3 on my 24 week old baby girl

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I was mostly impressed with the nappies, they were nice and soft, seemed comfortable and were in lovely designs. I will definately use them again for overnight as they seemed to do a better job of keeping her dry and therefore asleep for longer, but really can't say that they were noticeably any different to the active-fits during the day

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

We have used several other brands including a few supermarket own brands, Just4bums and Huggies and found generally Pampers were more effective at keeping her skin dry and generally containing more of the explosive bf baby poo's. We now normally use the Active-fit nappies day and night and don't really have any major complaints. It does seem that the Baby-dry manage to keep her bum more dry on the long over-night stint as she slept longer and seemed more comfortable on waking than her normal ones (this could of course be co-incidental as sleep seems to change quite a lot one week to the next..)

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I do think that they are expensive at normal price and would probably continue to only purchase when on offer if i'm honest.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would definately recommend them if asked, in our experience they have been better than other brands tried.

procrastinatrix · 24/05/2013 12:24

I used the size 4 nappies for my 10-month old daughter.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I liked them. They're slim, soft, and effective at retaining lots of urine. I'd bought them before, when they were 33% off at my supermarket, and I would use them again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I usually buy Pampers Simply Dry and although Baby-Dry are snazzier-looking and have the extra 'sleep layer', I have to say that I have not noticed any difference in performance between the two. We've had the same number of (occasional) leaks with Baby-Dry as we've had with Simply Dry. These are always with the enormous early-morning poos after 12 hours of wearing the nappy. We've never had just a wee-based leak with either Simply Dry or Baby-Dry.

I tried out Huggies Super Dry for awhile, but after a few overnight leaks of urine, I went back to Pampers for night-time use. Pampers are so much less bulky than Huggies, and feel softer too. Not sure if my baby notices, but I do!

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Well, they're more expensive than Simply Dry unless there's a special offer from the retailer. They're considerably more expensive than supermarket own brands. They're good nappies, so if you buy the biggest pack (and even better, get them on sale), they are good value. My supermarket doesn't stock the jumbo boxes, though.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would. They work well and they're so beautifully slim. Plus the cartoon animals are cute. Not that that really matters... but it's a little bonus on top of everything else!

Mrdarcyswife · 24/05/2013 15:42

My dd is 13 months in size 4

Q1 I think these nappies are great. Already used them again. Plus when we go on holiday I'm just taking these, rather than active nappies for the day time as I'm impressed by how thin they are.
That thinness doesn't seem to impact on the absorbancy though

Q2 The best I've tried for dryness
I have found that poo can leak out the top at the back, but I'm yet to find a nappy brand that can contain her more explosive efforts (sorry if tmi!)
Q3. I think they are good value, they are more expensive, but worth it!
Q4 Yes absolutely, I do

Bullywodgie · 24/05/2013 15:44

I was picked by MNHQ to review this product, which I received for free. this review is in my own words and reflects my true opinion.

  1. I was impresses with the product and will definetly be using them again in the future.

  2. I find the pampers a much better fit than other brands and they rarely if ever leak.

  3. The pampers are more expensive than other nappies but they also do very good special offers so I tend to stock up when they are on offer rather than paying full price.

  4. I would definetly recommend pampers to family and friends.

JParkson · 24/05/2013 15:49

I have tried size 4s on my 9mo DD...

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I had high hopes for these as I prefer pampers out of the branded nappies however I am disappointed. No I wouldn't use them again unless I had no other choice, they don't cope as well as my usual brand.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They are thinner than my usual brand, and I'm afraid that shows on the results I've had. On the first night using them DD had a lovely dirty nappy and the nappy couldn't cope! Leakage back and front! I know it would have been wet but my usual brand copes on these occasions! I gave the nappies the benefit of the doubt and persevered. She needed changing within 2 hours as it was saturated and the poly filler absorbent stuff was coming out of the nappy and sticking to her.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

No they're not good value for money, as my current brand cost half the price for the economy size packs. Plus they leak! I won't pay that much for leaky nappies, sorry.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

No I wouldn't recommend them for the reasons stated above.
