  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before? We always use Ecover washing up liquid (buy in bulk) and often the bathroom cream and toilet cleaner too. The environmentally friendly nature of the brand has always appealed to me.
  2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons? Wipes are not a usual part of household cleaning.
  3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job? Mainly kitchen - floors, worksurface, highchair.
  4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene? I don't generally use antibacterial cleaners. I just don't think it necessary.
  5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done? The packaging was easy to use. The pack re-realed well each time. All the info is on the pack I think. The smell was fine, although not lovely..like laundry... or the grapefruit washing up liquid.
  6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem? I was quite naughty and put them in the bin.Having building works to our kitchen just now and i can't always get to the back garden easily. But I would generally put them in the compost, however if they were flushable that would be good for the bathroom. Incidentiallly, I hardly ever buy baby wipes, prefering cotton wool or flannels, but when I do, I always opt for flushable ones. *
  7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why? Quite likely, though perhaps not all of the time. May depend on price.
  8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how? Not much, although I may consider the brand to be a little less eco friendly because of the dispoible nature of the product.
  9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes? 4

1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?
Green, probably not very effective, little pricey. I have used the washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets when I stayed in a log cabin on a farm in the Peak District which prided itself on being eco friendly, carbon neautral etc. etc.
2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons? Yes I currently use wipes mainly for cleaning my wood floors as find it is the best way to get them clean. Just find them most convenient and effective.
3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?
Used them on my glossy kitchen units and bathroom surfaces including toilet. They cleaned very effectively - did seem to leave surfaces a bit over wet so dried off with kitchen towel.
4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene? Like to use anti bacterial wipes in kitchen and bathroom - hate to think of germs lurking. Use anti bacterial wipes and Mr Muscle. Use them for cleaning and hygiene.
5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?Very easy to use - dispensed one at a time no problem. Plenty of info on the packaging. Surprised they could not be used on marble or natural stone. Will keep looking for something anti bacterial I can use on granite worktops. I really liked the fragrance it was nice and natural.
6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? I disposed of them in the general waste once used. Don't have a compost heap or facility to dispose of food waste seperately. They are not flushable, is this problem? Did not expect to be flushable - I wouldn't dream of flushing away
7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why? Yes I would buy in the future - they did not irritate my hands like my usual brand (normally wear rubber gloves). Yes I would recommend to a friend.
8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how? Yes definitely - I'll actively seek Ecover products out when I next shop.
9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes? I would give them a 5

1 - Have used Ecover before and regularly buy some of their products, I;m not 100% convinced with the effectiveness with all their products so was glad to try the wipes for free.

2 - I usually use bathroom wipes as they're quick and easy and I don't have to worry about using umpteen sponges (separate ones for kitchen & bathroom etc).

3 - I used the wipes in the kitchen and bathroom. They did a good job cleaning worktops but left a strange foamy residue. They were quite soggy and left streaks on stainless hob and oven. They were effective at the jobs in the bathroom, cleaned everything nicely and I didn't worry about rinsing after use.

4 - To be honest, I wasn't really bothered about the anti-bac aspect, I'm never really convinced by those kind of claims! I'm happy that my house isn't clinically clean anyway.

5 - The packaging was nice and simple, explained about the product well. They did smell nice but were awfully wet. They left a residue on most surfaces so I think they were a bit too wet.

6 - Sadly I live in an area that DOES NOT collect food waste, so they had to go straight in the bin. The fact that they are biodegradable wouldn't make me choose them over another product that wasn't.

7 - I don't think I'd buy them again as most Ecover products are expensive compared to similar products.

8 - My perception hasn't really changed, some Ecover products are great and others not so much.

9 - I'd give them 3 out of 5. They were OK at their job but didn't blow me away.

Thanks for letting me try them though!

Thanks for letting me try these.
I was aware of the eco cred, but not the effectiveness.
2.
I use wipes in all over the house, including the walls, bathroom, floors, kitchen etc. I use them for convenience and cleanliness, 2 small ch, 3 big dogs.......

I used them for a bathroom clean and they worked very well, kitchen and highchair also good, excellent on walls as didn't remove paint

Antibacterial extremley important. Always use for cleaning and hygeine.

Packaging good, nice fragrance, flimsy but moist.
  1. I binned them

7.I would buy them again, as buy whichever are on special offer.
  1. I now know the products can be effective!
  2. I would give them a 4, flushable a 5. Thank you again.

1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?
I knew about the products as they had been used by friends but I did wonder whether they had sacrificed cleaning power for eco credentials.

2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?
I do buy wipes when they're on offer and I tend to use them for kitchen cleaning as well as dining table and sometimes the bathroom. I like them because they're convenient and I don't need to have a cloth lying around in the kitchen to be used with spray cleaners.

3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?
I didn't use them in the bathroom but cleaned all the kitchen surfaces with them, including hob top. I also wiped the bottom of the oven with them and was delighted they didn't stink the oven out with a chemical smell. Our dining table came up lovely too. The rest of the packet are now at work as they've cleaned up my computer keyboard a treat!

They did a brilliant job every time I used them, cut through grease and were simply fantastic. Far better than I was expecting if I'm honest.

4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?
I do like to use antibacterial cleaners for things like door handles, keyboards and DDs toys. I'm not so bothered around the kitchen or general cleaning.

5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?
The packaging was good, although it would have benefitted with a mark on the clear sticky bit so you knew which end to peel open. I loved the fragrance (or lack of it), it was refreshing not to stink of cleaning products after using them and I found them moist enough to do the jobs without having too much moisture. However, we've used competitors wipes that were larger with perforations down the middle, so you could use them as a big wipe or tear in two, that was quite useful, otherwise I found them a little small and therefore not much different to using a baby wipe (which I tend to use for wiping the dining table etc).

6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?
Didn't realise they were biodegradable and could put them in with the food waste, would have been pleased with that. I didn't really read the packaging so it would have to be really obvious for me to have spotted it. I put them in the kitchen bin. I wouldn't have flushed them even if they said they were flushable as I wouldn't want them floating out to sea or bunging up my drain!

7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?
I would buy the products in future but it would depend quite a bit on price as I see cleaning wipes as a luxury so tend to buy them on offer. I would definitely recommend them though, they cleaned brilliantly and I loved that fact they didn't have a chemical cleaner smell.

8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?
Yes. I've been aware of the brand as an eco cleaner but have always thought it probably isn't as good as other cleaners. I guess I thought you needed the chemicals to clean. I am stunned at how well the wipes worked and how much I enjoyed not smelling of cleaner.

9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?
5 star. The only improvement would be bigger perforated wipes. I've not seen the price yet either, but if they're a comparable price for a similar number of wipes, I'd definitely buy them again.

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

No, I hadn't. I was only vaguely aware of the brand.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

Yes, for convenience.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

On the wooden floor to clear up potty-training accident (wee). It worked very well. Highchair also cleaned and did a good job.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

Very important. I always choose anti-bacterial.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

Packaging was good. Informative. Fragrance was nice. Wipes were very moist - much more so than any other wipes I've used.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I'll be honest, I binned them.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

If it was cheap enough, yes.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

I'm now more aware of the brand, so more likely to buy it if products are on offer and competitively priced.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

I'd give 4/5. Only dropped a point because the actual wipe itself was a bit too small and flimsy. It takes a couple to clean the highchair, for example.

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I like the idea of Ecover and had used their washing liquid, washing up liquid and a cleaning spray before. I thought they worked reasonably well, but were expensive.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I use wipes for the loo, bathroom and wiping spills in the kitchen for convience.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I mainly used them in the kitchen, rather than carry the pack around the house. They were ok, and very effective at wiping up grease - I found that they cut through the grease at the side of the hob after frying really effectively and left it squeaky clean in one wipe. However, overall they were too small and I ended up using many more than I would have done usually.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

It is very important to me that they are anti-bacterial and kill most bacteria, especially since I would mainly use them in food preparation areas or in the loo. All of my household cleaning products are anti-bacterial.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

The packaging was fine. It had all the information I want. I didn't like the fragrance at first (pomegranate & lime), but it grew on me and leaves a fresh aftersmell. The wipes did retain enough moisture, but were too small to get the job done. They crumpled up too quickly and wrapped themselves around my fingertips which meant I couldn't wipe very effectively.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I threw them in the bin, but if I had a compost heap I would happily put them on there, unless I'd used them for the loo or for wiping up after preparing meat/fish. I would much prefer flushable ones for the loo.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

If they made them bigger I would certainly consider it. I would recommend them to a friend, but warn them about the size.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

These have increased my good impression of the brand. They were very good at cleaning up grease.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

I would give them a 3 overall. The size really annoyed me and if I'd paid full price for them and then had to use lots to wipe a relatively small area I would have felt ripped-off.

  1. fairly neutral. i had used the brand before but tend to buy whats on offer at the time and so wouldnt actively seek their products.

  1. yes i do. its convenience.

  1. i have used them on my bathroom and kitchen and they cleaned well enough but were a little foamy.

  1. tbh i wouldnt see the point in them if they werent anti-bac. they would only be doing half the job and i would feel like i had to clean again properly. i have health issues so anything i can do to prevent myself from getting ill is important to me.

  1. they are easy to use and smell lovely- much nicer smell than other brands ive used- but were a little too wet as they left a foamy residue that then needed wiped away with a dry cloth.

  1. i put them in the bin.

  1. perhaps if they were on offer but i wont go out of my way to buy them. i wouldnt specifically recommend them as they arent any better than other brands imo.

  1. no.

  1. a 3. apart from the smell they are no better than other brands and too soapy.

I had tried a few products some were good some weren't that great for the money.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

Yes because its quicker and reassuring that it has been cleaned properly.

High chair, kitchen surfaces and floor to wipe spills. Teh highchair and cooker was really quick to clean with the wipes.

Very very important especially for my little boy who touches everything when crawling and standing.

It smelt really nice and fruity., Ionly pulled one out at a time which is refreshing.

Yes, much better than I thought was better than the usual ones I buy and made me feel good theat they are natural.

1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

Pretty positive - I love the idea of being green and aspire to use only eco-friendly products but in practice am very lazy and perpetually skint so usually just pick up whatever's on offer in Scotmid plus not really that into cleaning anyway.
I've used Ecover washing powder before and liked it, I think that's it. We're quite an allergic, eczema-y family so that's always one of my top concerns.

2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I use wipes loads - I'm really lazy, can't stand cleaning and dd is a massive cling at the moment so it's all about convenience for me. Plus they're a godsend for clearing up anything really gross as can be lobbed immediately.

3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

Kitchen surfaces - did a grand job, coped with caked-on coffee spillage admirably! And the highchair, also grand - I love wipes for the highchair cos they're so easy and I think I have the worlds messiest 1yo.

4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?
I'm torn about this - in theory I think anti-bac is bollocks and we are just creating superbugs etc etc. I do actually find it quite reassuring though, especially for things like the high chair.

5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

Packaging was great, didn't read it if I'm being honest but it looked nice. The wipes definately retained enough moisture, way more than any other I've used actually. But I hate the smell!! Am I the only one? Think all pps ^ are lying! It smells like some sort of hideous booze to me, reminds me of hangovers. Really really hate it, do a lemon version! Sorry!

6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

Bin Blush we don't have a compost heap or any food waste collection round here. Glad they're biodegradable! Don't care about flushability.

7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

I would buy in future, but I can't promise I always will - being green is important to me but money far more of an issue at the moment. I could probably justify an extra 20p but not a pound or two so it does really depend how much they are. I'd like to, though.
I will definately recommend, they do a great job and it's brilliant that they're biodegradable.

8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

Already liked Ecover so not hugely, I do think it's great they're doing such a wide range of products now.

9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

4.75 (due to boaky hangover smell!)

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

No not used before, Thought they were a little overpriced to be honest.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

Tend to use them just in the bathroom. I use a spray in the kitchen area to cover a larger area. More economical that way.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

Tested in the kitchen. Yes, they did the job.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

Very very important for me as a mum and childminder. I usually use antibac spray.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

Yes, was easy to use but found the wipes too wet. They were also a bit too small - felt a bit insubstantial. Didn't like the fragrance I'm afraid - it smelt like cough mixture and not very 'clean'.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I binned them. May be persuaded to compost them in the future if they were a good enough product.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

If the price was OK and not too expensive I may be tempted to buy them and recommend to a friend. Only if the fragrance was 'cleaner' smelling though.

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I used to have a good opinion of them but after reading about a Which? report began to have my doubts about how green their products are.

I have used the washing-up liquid, but I only buy it when it's on offer as I don't find it bubbly enough. I have also used the delicates wash which I was happy enough with but stopped buying it due to price.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I use wipes fairly often in the bathroom but only occasionally elsewhere. Since getting this sample though I have been using them in the kitchen more.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I tested mine in the kitchen: wiping down worktops; wiping the highchair; cleaning up minor spills.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

Not very important. I only use other anti-bacterial products if they happen to be on offer when I'm buying that product.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

The packaging was easy to use but I didn't really read any of the information on it. The fragrance was pleasant, without being overpowering. The wipes retained enough moisture but they did leave a foamy trace on surfaces that had been wiped. They were also far too small. Despite this they did clean well and didn't feel as harsh on the skin as many others do.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I put mine in the bin. I would put them on the compost heap if I had one and there is no food waste collection where I live. Not being flushable is not a problem.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

I may buy the products again but they would have to be competitively priced. I might not recommend Ecover to a friend but I wouldn't discourage them from buying Ecover either.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

No, it hasn't changed.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

3 and a 1/2. Too small and too foamy but cleaned well and gentler than most.

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I have used one or two Ecover things. i wasn't very impressed with Ecover fabric softener, so that put me off Ecover products a bit...

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I use wipes to clean kitchen worktops maybe once a day/every other day.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I used them on the floor, toilet and kitchen surfaces.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

Yes - I like my wipes to be anti bacterial.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

Packaging fine, loved the smell. They foamed up a bit on use, but I quite liked that. I love the fact that the smell was not too chemically.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I put them in usual rubbish as we don't have compost or food waste collection. I flushed one (naughty!)

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

They were great and I would most definitely buy them if they were not twice the price of similar in Sainsburys own brand. Shame they are so expensive because I loved them....

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

Yes - I might try other Ecover products again now.
  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

5 stars. I loved them. They were gentle and smelt great. Price point a bit high though.....

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I had used some Ecover products before and always liked them.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I don't usually as I worry about the amount of waste they create.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

Kitchen surfaces - literally all of them including the walls :) All of the bathroom too. They cleaned really well although the surfaces were all reasonably clean already.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

Not very important for me, tend not to go for anti-bac stuff.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

Packaging - fine. Fragrance - wasn't very strong which is perfect for me as strong fragranced cleaning products often trigger migraines. I didn't think they lost moisture too quickly.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

It would be good if they were flushable. I put them in the bin so perhaps the packaging needs to make it clearer they are compostable.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

I would buy again, as they worked and didn't trigger a migraine. I would recommend them to a friend for this reason.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

No, my perception of Ecover is still good.

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I was quite pro-ecover and have always bought their products if they are on offer, but find them too expensive. I also found the toilet cleaner not very good. I do love their environmental stance though.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

Yes, because they are convenient.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

High chair, kitchen, surfaces, living room, bathroom, toilets, tables, sinks, fridge/freezer and cabinet doors. They were brilliant. I was genuinely impressed at how well they cleaned, much better than other wipes I have used. They were lovely and moist which meant they didn't run out too quickly. They were far too small though. To be perfect they would need to be double the size.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene

I do use anti bac spray and I do bleach the loo.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

Yes, packaging fine, reclosed well. They didn't smell of too much to me (certainly not pomegranate and lime) which was fine, although a bit fruitier might be better. They were lovely and moist which I think is why they were so effective.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

Bin, but if i'd bothered to read the packaging I would have composted them, and would do in the future.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

Yes, but not for £2.99, sorry. Just too expensive. I would buy them if they were £1.99. I would recommend them.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

Yes, because I've always thought ecover products were worthy but not very effective. I now think that they are effective too!

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

4/5 (a point lost for titchiness, and for having the cheek to put 'large' on the front). And for being too expensive. But they were really really good at cleaning!

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

We use the washing up liquid and hand soap. Have tried the laundry liquid and fabric conditioner but not keen. My mother used Ecover in the early 90s.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

No, I don't normally, but I might start now!

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I used them on the hob, cooker hood, dining table, high chair, buggy, skirting boards, on dusty vases, and on the loo cistern and washbasin. Worked very well, but left a very wet residue. In some areas I used a cloth to dry after using them. I used quite a few, more than I expected to be necessary.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

I use an anti-bac spray on the kitchen bin and occasionally on the work tops.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

The packaging was fine, the fragrance was a bit strong but inoffensive.
I found the wipes very wet and frothy, which would have been fine if the wipes had been a bit thicker, but they were too thin. I couldn't use them to scrub at dried on marks. The wipe fabric needs to be thicker or double layered, they just seemed to squash up to nothing on the first wipe.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I put them in the bin - we can't compost or recycle food waste at the mo. Would happily put them with food waste if I could! Would never flush them.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

Yes, as I use them sparingly, I would prefer to buy these than another brand. I didn't feel like i needed to wear rubber gloves when using them. Probably wouldn't recommend them, as they are a bit flimsy.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

No.

  1. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?
  2. Good but needs improvement!

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before? Not used before, tend to stick to stuff with dettol in. Just thought it was eco friendly and quite expensive.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons? Yes, the dettol floor wipes which are big and strong, have a tiled floor in kitchen and playroom and it is v convenient.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job? I found them too small and quite fiddly to get out of the packet, tended to use two at the same time.

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene? Very important: I am a foster carer, mum of two boys and have two kittens, I am almost fanatical about killing germs!

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done? Liked the smell, easy to open, a bit fiddly trying to get out just one wipe at a time.

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem? They went in the bin - not a problem.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why? No, too small, weak, fiddily - lovely smell and good that eco but not tough enough for this house!

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how? No change in perception
  2. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

  1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?

I thought as a brand, they were more environmentally friendly and I liked them.

  1. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

I don't really use wipes as I think they are false economy. I don't get the one use and bin them sort of thing, when I could use a cloth.

  1. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I found these handy for the bathroom more than the kitchen. Simply because I use harsher cleaning things in the bathroom and these stopped me doing that. I did use them in the kitchen, but I am a messy cook and they seemed to only clean a small area when I needed something like a scourer Blush

  1. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

I think for the bathroom it's more important. Just because of what goes on on there really. I like to keep germs at bay, but am in the camp that some germs are good for you.

  1. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

The packaging was really easy to use and the information was good. I loved the smell of them and yes they retained enough moisture,

  1. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

I stuck mine in with the compost stuff to be recycled. I would never flush a wipe so this did not bother me.

  1. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

I think I propably would. I liked having a pack in the bathroom. I would recommend them because I like to be green where I can.

  1. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

I liked the brand before. And still like it.

  1. We almost always use Ecover products for the past 5 years and find the products work well. I can't imagine why we would switch to another brand.

  1. No we don't use wipes very often. I think they are expensive and wasteful.

  1. Used them in the bathroom and kitchen.

  1. I don't know if my cleaning products are anti-bac so am evidently not that fussed. I suppose it is important in the bathroom and kitchen.

  1. Packaging was good, although it says '40 large wipes' on it which is not true. They are far too small for a cleaning wipe and ended up screwed up in a ball quite quickly. Although I don't know how the size compares to other brands so maybe that is an issue with wipes in general. They were moist enough- maybe a little too much! They worked better in the bathroom as couldn't' stand up to kitchen mess!

  1. They went in the bin. I may put them in the compost in future though. I am not bothered about flushing them.

  1. I'm not sure. We wouldn't use them regularly but I think it would be useful to have a pack around for odd jobs. I would recommend them over other brands of wipes but would say you don't really need them.

  1. Still love ecover.

  1. 4- lost a mark due to small size.

1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?
I had bought Ecover products previously because we want to try to reduce our environmental impact. I've used the washing up liquid, bathroom cleaner, laundry liquid and other products. I gave up using them because I was let down by the performance, or rather the lack of performance and they also smelled awful.

2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?

Yes, I do use them for jobs where just a dishcloth and hot water won't do - like cleaning the worksurface after preparing meat and occasional quick clean ups or quick swishes and swipes in the bathroom. I don't think that they are value for money, at least not when you compare them to a cloth and hot water, but they are very convenient and a pack of 80 Sainsbury's ones lasts us about six weeks to two months.

3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?

I've used the entire pack so we've given them a good test. I've used them for a swish and swipe in the bathroom - not a bad job but see number 7.

I've used them to clean some black mould of UPvC. Again they did the job but see 7 for more qualifying information.

I've mainly used them for cleaning the kitchen surfaces including during birthday cake making when every surface (and walls and floor) were covered in fondant icing, icing sugar and buttercream. Again the wipes cleaned the mess but...

4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?

This is quite important to me and is really the only reason I buy wipes for those times when a hot soapy cloth just won't, in my opinion, do.

5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?

I was really impressed with the packaging when I opened the envelope. I thought that Ecover had made a real effort to appeal to customers on a wider basis rather than just "green" customers alone. To be frank the packaging has always been really dull in the past and always seemed to be a bit of an afterthought.

The packaging was no better in terms of ease of use than any other soft-pack wipe. I find such packs always cause wipes to dry out and become less useful.

I was really excited by the thought of the fragrance - pomegranate and lime - when I saw the pack and was dreadfully disappointed. On initial opening the wipes smelled exactly like gin and tonic. Once the wipe had been out of the pack and started to be used the smell dissipated and they just went back to smelling a bit grim like the ecover products of the past. Once the pack had been open for a while the whole pack lost it's scent in this way.

6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?

Our compost bin is full and we don't have food waste so ours went into our landfill rubbish but it's good to know that they will biodegrade (hopefully better than some other biodegradable put-me-in-your-compost products that I've tried!).

7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?

No. The wipes were flimsy. They stuck together and did not last as well as others I have tried. They also stuck together and had to be teased open. My biggest issue, as someone with eczema, was that each wipe when picked out of the packet and used oozed foamy cleaning fluid all over my hands. I am really put off by this and it would be my main reason for not buying these again. In comparison my usual wipes open fully, last better and do not cover my hand in cleaning fluid. For that reason i wouldn't recommend them.

8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?

yes I think ecover are trying harder to reach a wider market.

9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?

1. What were your thoughts and feelings about Ecover prior to trying them? Had you used any Ecover products before?
I have used lots of ecover products from toilet cleaner to laundry liquid, I am a big fan due to their eco credentials and the lack (mostly) of animal ingredients.

2. Do you currently use wipes as part of your cleaning regime? Is it because they are convenient, value for money or for other reasons?
Currently use the coop own brand toilet cleaner wipes, but tend to use Method spray around the house for dusting etc. Wipes for toilet convenient as can just dispose of after, much quicker to use as well as keep them next to the loo!

3. Ecover Multi-Action Wipes can be used throughout your home - from toilet seats to highchairs - where did you test your wipes? Did they do the job?
Tested them in the living room mainly, and in the kitchen. Found they worked well, had a lovely smell, but were perhaps a bit too soapy for general dusting and would be better suited to 'wet' areas of the house eg bathroom and kitchen.

4. How important is it that the wipes are Anti-bacterial and kill 99.9% of bacteria? Do you use any Anti-bacterial products for cleaning or hygiene?
Not too fussed about killing all bacteria as don't think this does us any good in the long term, minor exposure to some bacteria is probably better for our health.

5. Thinking about the wipes, did you find the packaging easy to use and carry all the information you needed? Did you like the fragrance? Did the wipes retain enough moisture to get the job done?
Packet was easy to open and reseal. Fragrance was lovely, fresh without being too clinical and didn't linger too long. Wipes very wet to begin with, but lasted well.

6. The wipes are FSC sourced and biodegradable - how did you dispose of your wipes once used? Would you pop them on the compost heap or perhaps with food waste? They are not flushable, is this problem?
They went in the bin, to be honest it didn't occur to me to put them in the compost (would the antibacterial qualities not prevent them being broken down by bacteria?- no idea!). Would prefer flushable ones for toilet wipes, especially if i've used them to clean inside the toilet.

7. Would you buy the products in the future? If it came up in conversation do you think you'd recommend to a friend? Why? If not why?
Would depend upon the price, and how easily they were available. They are certainly a good product and i would recommend them, but wouldn't go out of my way to buy them over another product.

8. Having now tried Ecover Multi-Action Wipes has it changed your perception of the brand? If so, how?
No.

9. Finally, using a 5-star rating with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor? what would you give Ecover Multi-Action Wipes?
