Q2. How about your DC - was there anything they liked or disliked about the product (if they're not old enough to tell you what they thought, then your interpretation of their opinion is fine!)? Would you say it made bath time more fun at all? If so, why? If not, why not?

Q1. What were your first impressions of the product? What did you like? Was there anything you didn't like? How did it compare with other products you've tried?

Seemd nice, good packaging very eyecatching. looks good quality

Q2. How about your DC - was there anything they liked or disliked about the product (if they're not old enough to tell you what they thought, then your interpretation of their opinion is fine!)? Would you say it made bath time more fun at all? If so, why? If not, why not?

DS2 is only 18 months so not bothered really, DS1 is 6 and again didn't take much notice, maybe boys aren't that fussed?

Q3. Overall, how did the product perform? Did it clean your child well? Was it easy to use or not? Did you find you used about the right amount to start with or did it take a few goes to get this right?

Used it to make a bubble bath, thought it foamed up quite well, however as a body wash didn't seem to foam up at all so you could end up using loads

Q4. What did you think of the fragrance? Can you think of any other fragrances that you'd like Halos N Horns to use?

Smells nice but is a bit weak, certainly wouldn't describe it as zingy

Q5. Is there anything about the product and/or its packaging that you think could be improved? If so, what and how?

Pump dispenser would make it easier to get out whilst bath wrestling a small toddler!

Q6. Do you think you'd use this product again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Probably not, too expensive

Q7. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Halos N Horns Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash to your friends who have children? If so, why? If not, why not?

If they were looking for something free of chemicals and for sensitive skins but not just generally

Flaneuse · 23/01/2012 13:51

Many thanks for the chance to take part in this trial!

Q1. I thought the tube was practical and easy to use, and I was pleased to note the lack of 'nasty' ingredients, such as parabens. I didn't find the colouring or logos particularly appealing - thought the brand logo and the product logo didn't go together.

Q2. My 3 year old son wasn't bothered either way about the product, and it hasn't made bathtime any more or less fun (some days are good, and others a challenge, as usual!).

Q3. I thought the product performed very well - a decent squirt into running bath water produced enough bubbles (about the same as the brand we usually use - Earth Friendly Baby). As a shampoo it lathered well if my son's hair was really wet. My son has mild eczema and generally has dry skin, which is always a little worse in winter (we often use Oilatum), so I was pleased that this did not irritate his skin, and left it soft and smooth. Similarly, his hair was beautifully shiny and soft.

Q4. I really disliked the fragrance at first - it seemed very synthetic and not actually that orangey. It lingered on my son's hair, which would have been lovely, had I like the scent! It has grown on me slightly with several days' use, but I would definitely prefer another fragrance, or for the 'zingy orange' actually to be orangey. A range of alternative fruit fragrances would be nice - perhaps apple, raspberry, and peach - as long as they actually smelt of the fruits!

Q5. I liked the product, but disliked the synthetic fragrance. I like knowing how much is left in a bottle or tube, so found it slightly frustrating not to be able to tell. As an aside, I don't like the Halos N Horns logo, and the use of pink and blue to denote, presumably, that girls are angelic and boys devilish. This may seem minor, but it annoys me and puts me off buying the range.

Q6. I might use the the product again if it smelt different, and if the price was cheaper than the brand we currently use.

Q7. I suppose I would recommend it, as it performed well on sensitive skin, and I really like that it doesn't contain parabens, etc. However, I would mention that I didn't like the fragrance.

naturalbaby · 23/01/2012 14:41

Q1. I liked the look of the tube and the graphics. It's good that the lid is on the bottom because you never have to shake it up to get the last bit out. It's a generous size and fits well in by very crowded bathroom cupboard.

Q2. They didn't really notice or comment anything. We told them we loved the smell so they agreed. They are usually too busy playing and resent the interruption of washing!

Q3. It was easy to use. I only use very small quantities anyway so didn't notice whether it did a good job or not. Other products need a lot of rubbing and rinsing to get off but this one didn't which I liked.

Q4. The frangrance is amazing, I love it! I still can't believe a natural fragrance can smell so nice. I remember bubble gum flavours from my childhood but not sure that fits in with the brand. Anything exotic but more specific like watermelon or guava.

Q5. I don't like the word devil on a product for babies and young children. I don't like it at all but especially for baby products.

Q6. Yes. It's very good value compared to other natural/organic skincare products I usually buy.

Q7. Yes, because of the smell and the price. 2 of my children have had dry/eczema patches but this product didn't make it flare up like other baby products have.

screamingeels · 23/01/2012 15:08

Q1: I liked it, I liked the thick gel consistency and the colour - thought it didn't smell much

Q2. DCs liked it. we used it as a bubble bath, wash on a cloth and shampoo. I was impressed at the amount of soft foam it made as a bubble bath, though it didn't linger (no SLS I suppose) whcih meant we couldn't make snow men.

Q3. It preformed fine: removed paint, porridge and all the general dirt of daily life. Great as a shampoo on baby hair though not for older kids. I'd no problem using the right amount, fairly used to non-lathering washes.

Q4. I was disappointed in the lack of zingyness and orangeyness in the aroma, it was mildy pleasant. That said it lingered on the kids for a couple of days which was nice, its lovely when they smell lovely.

Q5. I liked the simple packaging. I'd like more smelly.

Q6. Yes if on special offer!

Q7. I would recommend it to first time parents with tiddly, tiny ones. I was a lot more bothered about 'natural' products with my first, and to be fair she has more sensetive prone to dryness skin. Now I know them to be robust I'm more driven by cost, novelty and lovely smells.

turkeyboots · 23/01/2012 16:04

One last thing, my main comments are above, as I took another look at the bottle again last night.

On the packaging point I don't like the fact the o in "halo" is pink and the o in "horns" is blue. Unnessesary gender sterotyping there.

GhostInTheBackOfYourHead · 23/01/2012 16:24

marking my place for later

Spink · 23/01/2012 16:46

We tested it with dd (3y) and ds (5y)

Q1. The packaging is attractive and instantly recognisable as Halos & Horns, a brand we've used before and which we definitely associate with 'no nastiness'.

Q2. They like the idea of a product just for them and it seemed to make them more enthusiastic than normal when it came to hairwashing - difficult to say how much of this was novelty value though.

Q3. It did the job very well, washing off felt tip marks, food smudges and the other usual grubbinessess. I found it find it ok to get the right amount out but the dc's wanted a go too, and they both dispensed far too much (!); a pump maybe would be better. The size of the tube is good.

DS has sensitive skin but there was no irritation after using this.

It worked well as a shampoo and bodywash, the dc's did also try putting it under running water for bubbles though and were disappointed at the outcome.

Q4. Dd smelled it in the tube and said it was 'Ribena'. It wasn't particularly orangey but was sweet and fairly pleasant, but if I'd picked it up and had a sniff in the supermarket I don't think I would've been hugely impressed. The smell of their hair after it had been washed was lovely though, subtle but with decent staying power.

Smells are a big thing in this household Wink and the dc's fav shampoos are favs because of the fragrance. Coconut has been a winner with us (coconut oils are apparently not liked by headlice so a double winner). Other shampoo fragrances liked by the dc's are mango and mint.

Q5. Perhaps a pump dispenser.

Q6. Yes, maybe, if we were not having a budgety month.

Q7. Yes I think so, especially for those who have children with sensitive skin.

TerraNotSoFirma · 23/01/2012 17:58

Q1. What were your first impressions of the product? What did you like? Was there anything you didn't like? How did it compare with other products you've tried?

Nice enough packaging, Liked the logo.

Q2. How about your DC - was there anything they liked or disliked about the product (if they're not old enough to tell you what they thought, then your interpretation of their opinion is fine!)? Would you say it made bath time more fun at all? If so, why? If not, why not?

DD (2.6) Liked the smell, and liked to squeeze it out herself. No stinging of the eyes on either of my children.

Q3. Overall, how did the product perform? Did it clean your child well? Was it easy to use or not? Did you find you used about the right amount to start with or did it take a few goes to get this right?

Cleaned well, Easy to get the right amount.

Q4. What did you think of the fragrance? Can you think of any other fragrances that you'd like Halos N Horns to use?

Fragrance was lovely from my point of view, DD would like strawberry however.

Q5. Is there anything about the product and/or its packaging that you think could be improved? If so, what and how?

This is perfect for going swimming but I favour larger bottles with pump dispensers for the bathroom.

Q6. Do you think you'd use this product again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes if I could afford it, I would get a large bottle for the bathroom. I would certainly buy the bottle provided in the product test, Just for going swimming.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Halos N Horns Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash to your friends who have children? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend this as it cleaned well on hair and body, smelled nice and left their skin soft.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/01/2012 18:07

Q1. What were your first impressions of the product? What did you like? Was there anything you didn't like? How did it compare with other products you've tried? I liked the packaging, and the fact it was thick and easy to use a little.

Q2. How about your DC - was there anything they liked or disliked about the product (if they're not old enough to tell you what they thought, then your interpretation of their opinion is fine!)? Would you say it made bath time more fun at all? If so, why? If not, why not? I don't think a soap could make bath time more fun. DD loved the smell.

Q3. Overall, how did the product perform? Did it clean your child well? Was it easy to use or not? Did you find you used about the right amount to start with or did it take a few goes to get this right? I used far too much the first time, I think because it doesn't bubble you assume you need more.

Q4. What did you think of the fragrance? Can you think of any other fragrances that you'd like Halos N Horns to use? I Liked it, although it was more subtle than I expected. A lime version would be lovely.

Q5. Is there anything about the product and/or its packaging that you think could be improved? If so, what and how? A pump dispenser would maybe help to guage the amount of product you need.

Q6. Do you think you'd use this product again? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes, dependant on price

Q7. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Halos N Horns Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash to your friends who have children? If so, why? If not, why not? Again this would depend on price but if it was reasonable I would reccomend it.

GBR · 23/01/2012 18:52
  1. I like the smell - mild but slightly fruity, I don't like smells that are too strong, especially for the kids. I like the texture of it too, not too gloopy or too thin. Feels nice and 'nasty-free', seems gentle (didn't set off my contact allergy on my hands).
  1. Kids like it - like the pictures on the packaging, and being able to squirt it themselves as the tube is quite soft. (I don't like them being able to squirt it though, as DD empties a tube in 5 mins). They liked the smell too, and we got quite a lot of bubbles by using a sponge.
  1. Very good product - cleans the kids well without leaving their skin dry afterwards. Lovely fragrance of clean child afterwards!
  1. I like the mild smell - is there a berry one too? Or mild vanilla-ish smell?
  1. I would love this to come in a pump dispenser - easier to use with wet hands, harder for my daughter to empty if I turn my back for 5 minutes.
  1. Will definitely use it again, I liked it a lot.
  1. I will definitely recommend it - it's mild and gentle, smells good, makes good bubbles on a sponge, and I like the 'all in one' factor instead of separate shampoo / bubble bath.

Send me some more please!

tinypumpkin · 23/01/2012 19:23

Q1. What were your first impressions of the product? What did you like? Was there anything you didn't like? How did it compare with other products you've tried?

I really liked the look of the product in terms of packaging. It looked simple, natural and easy to use. It was relatively small which seemed good in comparison to my normal store purchased shampoo and body wash.

Q2. How about your DC - was there anything they liked or disliked about the product (if they're not old enough to tell you what they thought, then your interpretation of their opinion is fine!)? Would you say it made bath time more fun at all? If so, why? If not, why not?

My daughter liked the easy to squirt aspect of the bottle (too much!) and did seem to prefer it to the usual store bought bottles. The packaging caught her eye and she liked it when I said it was an orange flavoured wash.

Q3. Overall, how did the product perform? Did it clean your child well? Was it easy to use or not? Did you find you used about the right amount to start with or did it take a few goes to get this right?

I did find the product cleaned well and meant that my daughter smelt pleasant after (always good!) I do think it took me a while to realise that I did not need to use as much as I do of the normal store brand bought wash and shampoo. I did find that it did not lather so well as a shampoo but I guess that may have been because of the more natural ingredients.

Q4. What did you think of the fragrance? Can you think of any other fragrances that you'd like Halos N Horns to use?

I liked the fragrance although it was much lighter than I imagined. I can't describe it was zingy at all and would be pushed to identify it as orange without knowing it was in advance. At the time it smelt fine when using it but I particularly liked the fragrance on my daughter's skin afterwards.

Q5. Is there anything about the product and/or its packaging that you think could be improved? If so, what and how?

I also agree with others who have suggested a pump action, this would help with bathing multiple children. I liked the actual design, it was inviting to use and fitted with the natural image of the product.

Q6. Do you think you'd use this product again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would use the product again depending on price. I did like it and feel that it would be particularly good of holidays to save on taking body wash and shampoo.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Halos N Horns Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash to your friends who have children? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend the Halos N Horns make as I liked it but I think I would perhaps steer away from recommending the zesty orange flavour specifically. This is because it did not seem to smell as described. I am keen to try other flavours in the range and may instead recommend those.

debka · 23/01/2012 19:29

Q1. I liked the bright cheerful look and the fact that it came in a squeezy tube.

Q2. The girls seemed to like it, still the same amount of screaming when it came to hairwashing though!

Q3. It got them clean enough, although didn't foam as much as I am used too. I may have used too much to compensate for this.

Q4. I thought the fragrance was ok but not particularly 'zingy'. I'd like a minty fragrance please!

Q5. I'd prefer a more bold fragrance.

Q6. My girls don't have sensitive skin so there's no real benefit to this one. I don't know how much it costs but I have a very tight budget and tend to buy for value at the moment.

Q7. I'd tell them we tested it and that it did the job.

debka · 23/01/2012 19:30

Meant to say- I liked the fact that it was bubble bath, shampoo and body wash all in one.

mimmymouse · 23/01/2012 19:35

Q1. As mentioned above, I didn't care for the name. Thoroughly dislike 'text speak'. And I disapprove of children being referred to as little devils. I'd rather purchase something which used reasonably spelling, especially when DD starts reading. Having said the negative, I liked (and in fact wanted to test) the because it is free from nasties.

Q2. She's not quite 14 months old, so she has no opinion - other than trying to eat it. (She tries to eat shoes, so don't feel this conveys an opinion!)

Q3. Again, I'd support a pump pack. Squeezing tends to lead to waste. Also, requires two hands!

Q4. The fragrance was faint. However, testing it on a baby prone to eczema, (I wanted to test it as I'd heard this brand was often suitable for eczema sufferers) I am used to fragrance free products. I certainly wouldn't class the scent as "zingy."

Q5. Pump pack. Lose the 'text speak'.

Q6. So far, it hasn't left a mark on DD and she seems relatively clean! I agree with earlier posts which describe the lather as excessive when shampooing. I had hoped it would froth up under running water (as suggested on the pack) but after a moment it disappears. I'm not that bothered - but when it is written on the pack, you sort of expect it.

Q7. I would recommend to other parents whose DC have suffered skin problems. The price would certainly be a consideration, so I'd have appreciated knowing its RRP.

Many thanks for allowing me to test. Nice to find something other than the prescribed "soap substitute"!

cjbk1 · 23/01/2012 19:36

Q1. What were your first impressions of the product? What did you like? Was there anything you didn't like? How did it compare with other products you've tried?

first impression was 'large tube nice packaging'
i liked the look of it nothing i didnt like it compared well with other products iv tried maybe looked a bit more 'grown up' than other child bath products iv tried so far

Q2. How about your DC - was there anything they liked or disliked about the product (if they're not old enough to tell you what they thought, then your interpretation of their opinion is fine!)? Would you say it made bath time more fun at all? If so, why? If not, why not?

my DCs liked it when i asked them they didnt really elaborate (theyr 3 and 5) but enjoyed using it and asked to use it again

yes it made bathtime more fun using something both new and enjoyable to them

Q3. Overall, how did the product perform? Did it clean your child well? Was it easy to use or not? Did you find you used about the right amount to start with or did it take a few goes to get this right?

it seemed to perform well overall and cleaned them well yes easy to use maybe a bit more difficult to judge the correct amount as it was low foaming

Q4. What did you think of the fragrance? Can you think of any other fragrances that you'd like Halos N Horns to use?

i liked the fragrance it was quite subtle.id like a revival of the timotei shampoo smell from the late 90's-the cucumber and aloe vera fragrance-gorgeous

Q5. Is there anything about the product and/or its packaging that you think could be improved? If so, what and how?

maybe show on the front too that its not tested on animals its a big draw; for me at least

Q6. Do you think you'd use this product again? If so, why? If not, why not?

yes i think id use it again as we all liked it and its kind to our skin and not tested on animals

Q7. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Halos N Horns Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash to your friends who have children? If so, why? If not, why not?

yes id reccomend it to people who have children because the smsll is lovely as well as the other plus points iv mentioned

cjbk1 · 23/01/2012 19:37

by the way; we do live in an official area of 'exceptionally hard water' so thatd expalin low foam

Reggiee · 23/01/2012 19:56

Q1. What were your first impressions of the product? What did you like? Was there anything you didn't like? How did it compare with other products you've tried?

Loved the smell. Easy to open and squeeze tube, and no excessive additional packaging. Don't really pay much attention to product design but this seemed practical, clean looking and user friendly. My 5 year old daughter was able to squeeze her own out which was good (didn't let 2 year old loose with it!)

Q2. How about your DC - was there anything they liked or disliked about the product (if they're not old enough to tell you what they thought, then your interpretation of their opinion is fine!)? Would you say it made bath time more fun at all? If so, why? If not, why not?

We all loved the smell - "mmmm....fruity" said the kids. Don't think it particularly enhanced bath time. They liked the orange colour but didn't notice it any more than that.

Q3. Overall, how did the product perform? Did it clean your child well? Was it easy to use or not? Did you find you used about the right amount to start with or did it take a few goes to get this right?

Yup - it cleaned well and no problems here. Haven't tried it as a shampoo and would probably use it for a body wash only. Seemed gentle on the skin.

Q4. What did you think of the fragrance? Can you think of any other fragrances that you'd like Halos N Horns to use?

Loved the fragrance (have I mentioned that?). I generally like citrus smells, and a mint fragrance would appeal to me. The kids would probably prefer a chocolate frangrance though. The smell lingered (in a good way) after the bath too.

Q5. Is there anything about the product and/or its packaging that you think could be improved? If so, what and how?

No.

Q6. Do you think you'd use this product again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Pretty likely, especially if it was on offer.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Halos N Horns Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash to your friends who have children? If so, why? If not, why not?

Would recommend.

applestrudel · 23/01/2012 19:57
  1. I liked the packaging - a bright, funky, glossy tube.
I liked the name of it and I liked its smell.
  1. Both children were happy to be washed with it and didn't complain when I washed their faces with it.
Bath time wasn't any more fun than usual - it's only a body wash after all!
  1. It cleaned them well and was easy to use. I liked its consistency, although I did use rather too much to begin with.

4.It has a lovely fragrance and I enjoyed smelling it on my child's hair later when giving him his bedtime milk. Mango or lychee would be nice.

  1. I'm not a fan of textspeak so didn't see any reason to use 'ur' instead of your.
  1. Yes - it is sufficiently mild on their sensitive skin.
  1. Yes I would recommend it. I don't know of anything similar on the market.
Iaintheref · 23/01/2012 19:58

Q1. Nice big tube, will last a while.
Q2. DC likes bath time anyway. Liked playing with the tube until she saw the wind up frog.
Q3. Only need the use a small amount at a time. Does a great job.
Q4. Great Smell. Could possibly look in to a berry frangrance.
Q5. Can not think of anything to change.
Q6. Will definatley use again. DW has already been and bought some other frangrances.
Q7. I would recommend to friends and family as it smells great and is gentle.

sittinghippo · 23/01/2012 20:03
  1. First impression, good size, like the sound of 'Zingy Orange', but slightly disappointed when I flipped the lid and couldn't smell anything.

  2. DD liked that she could read KIDS and knew it was her own bottle. Asked her what it smelled like and she didn't say oranges! Flowers was her take on it.

  3. I first used it as bubble bath and although it didn't foam obviously, I couldn't tell if I had put enough/too much in. Have since used it as body wash and it foamed up lovely on a bath puff. Have used it as shampoo on youngest (almost 1yo) but wasn't sure if it would be stingy in eyes? Unsure whether it would be any good for DD1 as her hair is so thick and long, feel I would need a lot to get it clean. (But I guess we have been conditioned to see lots of foaming and bubbles to mean clean...)

  4. Afraid the title 'Zingy Orange' holds a lot of promise, I was actually excited to open it the first time to smell the wonderful 'zinginess' but was somewhat disappointed.

  5. The packaging was quite bland for a childrens product. Having said that, I think DD likes it as it looks more grown up than her usual sickly pink or green bottles. If the scent was as powerful as it sounded I would have enjoyed the product a lot more. As would DDs.
The Halos and Horns references, I don't mind, My children know I call them mucky little devils when they need a bath. I don't find it offensive in any way, although I can see why some might.

  6. I'd use it again, as I do like the idea of using more natural products for our next generation, but it would depend on cost.

  7. I wouldn't recommend per se, but I wouldn't put anyone off buying it IFKWIM.

Thanks for the trial,

susiey · 23/01/2012 20:23

Q1. What were your first impressions of the product? What did you like? Was there anything you didn't like? How did it compare with other products you've tried?

I really liked it , it was nice that it was in a squeezy tube and smelt lovely

Q2. How about your DC - was there anything they liked or disliked about the product (if they're not old enough to tell you what they thought, then your interpretation of their opinion is fine!)? Would you say it made bath time more fun at all? If so, why? If not, why not?

I'm not sure they really cared or have an opinion on bath products! they didn't dislike it though.

Q3. Overall, how did the product perform? Did it clean your child well? Was it easy to use or not? Did you find you used about the right amount to start with or did it take a few goes to get this right?

I used the right amount to start with and it was easy to use.it cleaned my very grubby chilren very well!

Q4. What did you think of the fragrance? Can you think of any other fragrances that you'd like Halos N Horns to use?

I liked the fragrance it wasn't very strong but thats ok as its a product for children.a rasberry smell would be nice.

Q5. Is there anything about the product and/or its packaging that you think could be improved? If so, what and how?

no I thought the packaging was great!

Q6. Do you think you'd use this product again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I need to wait and see how my youngest daughters skin reacts to it. she has very slight dry skin when you use certain products and it will take a few more tries to see if she flares up with this product

Q7. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Halos N Horns Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash to your friends who have children? If so, why? If not, why not?

yes I would it smelt lovely and the packaging is really handy.

missorinoco · 23/01/2012 20:37

Q1. What were your first impressions of the product? What did you like? Was there anything you didn't like? How did it compare with other products you've tried?

I liked it. The squeezy bottle makes it easy to dispense without the oershoot when toddlers get hold of the shampoo/bubble bath.

Q2. How about your DC - was there anything they liked or disliked about the product (if they're not old enough to tell you what they thought, then your interpretation of their opinion is fine!)? Would you say it made bath time more fun at all? If so, why? If not, why not?

Not old enough to comment, but they don't dislike it. DC1 who is 4 loves the idea he can put in on his body and hair.

Q3. Overall, how did the product perform? Did it clean your child well? Was it easy to use or not? Did you find you used about the right amount to start with or did it take a few goes to get this right?

Easy to use, no problems with amount needed to clean.

Q4. What did you think of the fragrance? Can you think of any other fragrances that you'd like Halos N Horns to use?

I liked the fragrance, scented but not overperfumed. I wouldn't chose other products for this age groups based on scent, and I think orange is probably oe of the few I'd go for, irrationaly it sounds more natural.

Q5. Is there anything about the product and/or its packaging that you think could be improved? If so, what and how?
No

Q6. Do you think you'd use this product again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Would depend upon the price, but I liked the versatility of it, and would think of it when going on trips if the price made it non sustainable as an every day product.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Halos N Horns Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash to your friends who have children? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, for the versatility. Frankly I do not have conversations about my children's bodywash though!

Q1. Nice mild fragrance, packaging convenient and attractive to my daughter (almost 4) but plunger dispenser would be better.

Q2. She was attracted to it, mainly because it's something new.

Q3. Good for the body (just squirted in hand and rubbed on in the shower). As shampoo needed quite alot. Leaves hair very shiny.

Q4. Mild fragrance, just right for me. Would like lemony as well.

Q5. Plunger dispenser with stable body would be good.

Q6. Depends on price.

Q7. Yes

Thank you for selecting me. What a generous sample size.

Q1. What were your first impressions of the product? What did you like? Was there anything you didn't like? How did it compare with other products you've tried?
Lovely consistency, nice smell, not synthetic-smelling, but not hippy-herby either. We only ever use toiletries free from parabens/SLS etc, usually BOrganic, GAIA or JASON. The first two have scents I prefer to orange, more subtle, which is what I prefer for my toddler, as I don't wish to mask his lovely baby smell. For DH and myself, the orange wash was good, especially after a sweaty workout, so we are more likely to use it ourselves than on DS.

Q2. How about your DC - was there anything they liked or disliked about the product (if they're not old enough to tell you what they thought, then your interpretation of their opinion is fine!)? Would you say it made bath time more fun at all? If so, why? If not, why not?
I only use a small amount usually, when wiping dirty bottoms, then fill the bath with just water, partly because DS likes drinking his bath water. He is too young to comment, but I did try using a bit more than usual, and it made some nice bubbles, which he enjoyed creating by splashing a lot. Lots of fun. He loves bath time anyway though.

Q3. Overall, how did the product perform? Did it clean your child well? Was it easy to use or not? Did you find you used about the right amount to start with or did it take a few goes to get this right?
Performed great, I mainly used it when I had a poo to wipe off, and it did a good job. Easy enough to use, but I would definitely prefer a pump action bottle. DS likes pump action bottles too, and I am happier with them floating in the bath with him as he can't get the lid off as easily as he can with the flip caps. I used it on my own hair, felt nice and clean. I don't mind that there is not a lot of lather, am used to that.

Q4. What did you think of the fragrance? Can you think of any other fragrances that you'd like Halos N Horns to use?
Nice, but more sweet than zingy. I prefer less scented for DC. Preferred flavours would be chocolate and vanilla.

Q5. Is there anything about the product and/or its packaging that you think could be improved? If so, what and how?
Pump instead of flip cap. I would LOVE for the packaging to look more fun, like Matey. I will never buy Matey unless they switch to SLS-free, but I used to love getting a bottle for Christmas as a child, and would like to find something similar for my own DC.
I would also like you to get vegan accreditation, if, that is, your product is officially vegan. It did look it to me! Good work on the no animal testing - maybe make that more prominent.

Q6. Do you think you'd use this product again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, depending on how the price compares with JASON/GAIA/BOrganic.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Halos N Horns Zingy Orange Hair & Body Wash to your friends who have children? If so, why? If not, why not?
Sure, I often evangelise about toilettries! :)

Q1. Liked the packaging, good that its not aimed specifically at boys or girls. Expected a stronger orangy smell, quite neutral smell really. Better smell though than some of the other bath products that we've used, some of them smell a bit too sickly sweet. Liked emphasis on lack of 'nasty' ingredients.

Q2. DS (aged 2.5) not particularly bothered. DD (aged 4.5) intrigued as very different from the other products we've used, which are either very plain in their style or very boy/girly. She liked the idea that it might be less stingy in her eyes!

Q3. Fairly easy to use but a bit thick and sticky which then sometimes sticks to the tube. Cleaned both children well, but not as foamy/bubbly as other products so I probably needed to use a bit more of the product. Seems to have helped a little bit with my son's scratching of his arms/legs, which has eased a little bit.

Q4. Not as strong a smell as I expected, given its name. Not a bad fragrance though, just a bit underwhelming. My daughter likes strong fragrances so she can tell me what she thinks something smells like. Other fragrances - strawberry, lemon, lime.

Q5. Packaging fine as is product - would just like a stronger smell.

Q6. I would use it again but would depend on the price.

Q7. Yes would suggest to people to try it.
