We've been asked by Ecover to find 75 MNers to put the Ecover range to the MN test!

If you don't know the name Ecover then check out their website here. Ecover say "we have over 30 products for the home, laundry and dishes. Many of the products are dermatologically tested and approved, which is good news for those that have allergies or sensitive skin. Many products are GHI approved and all of the bottles are made out of Plant-astic, a renewable and sustainable plastic made from Sugar Cane".

We're looking for folks to try one of three sets of Ecover products in their home and to then add feedback on Mumsnet. We want a range of testers but we are ideally looking for MNers who are...

~ are in the UK
~ interested in sustainability, future generations and family values
~ keen to try Ecover for the first time, or to try it again after using it in the past or to try a product they have not used before

Ecover say "We're really pleased to be working with Mumsnet and are looking forward to your feedback. We've improved the effectiveness of our products over the years and would love to hear what you think about them"

There are three different packs of product available to choose from and they span the entire Ecover range - Kitchen / Bathroom / Laundry. We are looking for 25 testers for each pack. You can choose your first choice pack in the recruitment form. Each tester selected for each pack will get one of each of the following:

Kitchen
All Purpose Cleaner
Pomegranate Washing Up Liquid
Multi Action Spray

Bathroom
Bathroom Cleaner
Limescale Remover
Cream Cleaner

Laundry
Stain Remover
Concentrated Laundry Liquid Non Bio
Amongst the Flowers Fabric Conditioner

All testers will also get the following samples just for your own use: Lemon & Aloe Vera Washing Up Liquid, Non Bio Washing Powder and Under the Sun Fabric Conditioner.

If you are selected to take part you will be asked to try the products and then to add feedback on a thread on Mumsnet. Everyone who does so will be entered into a prize draw where one tester will get £250 of John Lewis vouchers.

If you'd like to take part please add your details here

NB: Testers will be selected on Monday and packs will be sent out Tuesday or Wednesday next week and will need to be signed for. If you'd rather put a work address on the form please do so.

Please note quotes from the feedback may be used on the Ecover pages on Mumsnet, coming soon. We will be in touch with selected testers.

Any questions please ask
Thanks and good luck, MNHQ

I'd love to know if ecover can compete with my usual cleaners (Vanish, heavy duty limescale remover etc) please! So either Bathroom or Laundry.

Probably prefer Bathroom as someone with a baby would prob be better testing the laundry Grin

jasminetatu · 13/01/2012 11:49

All done.. I loved their washing up stuff but it was a bit expensive for me to make it a part of my usual monthly shop.

jasminetatu · 13/01/2012 11:53

I would also so love to try the laundry stuff.. weaning babies create amazing volumes of mucky clothes. :o

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 13/01/2012 12:05

Done. Though I wonder if my eco-credentials (such as they are) are good enough to get me in.

Done.

I'll try anything! I live in an area with horribly hard water and everything that the water touches turns to white filth - was about to try their limescale remover anyway. Bathroom first choice, then don't mind, see if I can find something that will eat away the limescale that isn't made from industrial strength chemicals which I hate to use or trusty old vinegar.

MeghanMc · 13/01/2012 12:15

Done, looking forward to try out the kitchen stuff Smile

LizziePizzie · 13/01/2012 12:17

I have literally just posted about how i am not very happy with Ecover, so if there are new products to be tested i am very interested in the results!

footflapper · 13/01/2012 12:17

Done :)

4madboys · 13/01/2012 12:20

done, i use the ecover washing up liquid as it doesnt aggravate my eczema tho have to say i dont always buy it due to price and it never seems to be on offer like most washing up liquids!

happy to try their products, i chose bathroom as we have hard water and i need something to kill the limescale but equally happy with kitchen or laundry products, with 4 boys and a baby i am always cleaning! and laundry is a never ending battle!
