We've been asked by Ecover to find 75 MNers to put the Ecover range to the MN test!

If you don't know the name Ecover then check out their website here. Ecover say "we have over 30 products for the home, laundry and dishes. Many of the products are dermatologically tested and approved, which is good news for those that have allergies or sensitive skin. Many products are GHI approved and all of the bottles are made out of Plant-astic, a renewable and sustainable plastic made from Sugar Cane".

We're looking for folks to try one of three sets of Ecover products in their home and to then add feedback on Mumsnet. We want a range of testers but we are ideally looking for MNers who are...

~ are in the UK
~ interested in sustainability, future generations and family values
~ keen to try Ecover for the first time, or to try it again after using it in the past or to try a product they have not used before

Ecover say "We're really pleased to be working with Mumsnet and are looking forward to your feedback. We've improved the effectiveness of our products over the years and would love to hear what you think about them"

There are three different packs of product available to choose from and they span the entire Ecover range - Kitchen / Bathroom / Laundry. We are looking for 25 testers for each pack. You can choose your first choice pack in the recruitment form. Each tester selected for each pack will get one of each of the following:

Kitchen
All Purpose Cleaner
Pomegranate Washing Up Liquid
Multi Action Spray

Bathroom
Bathroom Cleaner
Limescale Remover
Cream Cleaner

Laundry
Stain Remover
Concentrated Laundry Liquid Non Bio
Amongst the Flowers Fabric Conditioner

All testers will also get the following samples just for your own use: Lemon & Aloe Vera Washing Up Liquid, Non Bio Washing Powder and Under the Sun Fabric Conditioner.

If you are selected to take part you will be asked to try the products and then to add feedback on a thread on Mumsnet. Everyone who does so will be entered into a prize draw where one tester will get £250 of John Lewis vouchers.

If you'd like to take part please add your details here

NB: Testers will be selected on Monday and packs will be sent out Tuesday or Wednesday next week and will need to be signed for. If you'd rather put a work address on the form please do so.

Please note quotes from the feedback may be used on the Ecover pages on Mumsnet, coming soon. We will be in touch with selected testers.

Any questions please ask
Thanks and good luck, MNHQ

Hope to get the bathroom pack, it might motivate me to do a really deep clean.

fruitshootsandheavesupafurball · 13/01/2012 16:23

Done - I've gone for the kitchen stuff as my current cleaner actually makes me think of cat / dog wee / mouse innards / regurgitated furballs everytime I smell it now, whatever I'm using it for! ewwww

ouryve · 13/01/2012 16:25

Done - exactly the same thoughts as GiniaC, plus the same horrid hard water and probably just as fed up of the house smelling like a chipshop!

Done :)

TheRealMBJ · 13/01/2012 16:48

Done.

However, I completed on my phone and didn't manage to finish my reasons as to why I am interested in doing the product test, before accidentally hitting the 'complete survey' button.

I have thought of changing to ECover products but have heard that they are not as effective as my current brands, so have been hesitant. It would be great to test them and see for myself.

AnnMumsnet · 13/01/2012 16:50

ewin00 sadly I can confirm you will have to do your own cleaning! Wink

I'd love to do it!
Fingers crossed I'm chosen

MandaHugNKiss · 13/01/2012 17:07

Applied. I'd like to be more eco-savvy when it comes to detergent consider my partner, three children and one on the way generate a LOT of washing but I'm labouring under the (perhaps false) impression that the eco products just don't do the job as well. Plus, 20 years of buying the same detergent/softner is a hard habit to break! I really hope my eyes can be opened.

Done. Clicked 'submit' before I had quite finished the last question though, darned trigger happy mouse hand! Never mind, I did put something.

Hassled · 13/01/2012 18:01

Done - I stopped using Ecover years ago as, however worthy they are, the products just didn't do their job well at all. I really hope they have changed.
