Following on from the fab Ford S-MAX and Galaxy testing in Christmas '09-10 and a variety of other projects in 2010, Ford have asked us to now find a total of 15 Mumsnetters and their families from across the UK to take part in a three week test drive. This time we have three newly launched cars on offer - you can choose from...
C-MAX - a 5 seater, featuring

Grand C-MAX - a 7 seater, featuring
~ Seven flexible seats
~ Power operated tailgate
~ Sliding doors
~ Active Park Assist

~ Traffic Sign Recognition
Ford kindly let JustineMumsnet and CarrieMumsnet put the Grand C-MAX's through their paces recently -

Conditions - please read
You can use the car for anything (legal) - but you would need to pay for any fuel you use, as well as any parking permits or parking/traffic fines.
Insurance will be arranged as long as you:-
~ are aged 25 or over
~ have had a full driving licence for three years or more and
~ have no convictions for dangerous driving.
What will test drivers need to do?
If selected, you would need to be able to offer feedback about the car on Talk at least twice a week for the duration of the three week test plus a final round up of your thoughts.
We will also be asking you to use the video camera provided to film yourself reviewing the car with your family plus we'll need a photo of you with the car and some details about you and your family. All footage, photos and information may be shown on Mumsnet and potentially used by Ford elsewhere.
Timetable
The test drives are scheduled to take place as follows - each one will last 3 weeks.
Please only apply for a car when you are around and able to test the car as well as add your feedback.
C-MAX w/c 25 July to c14 Aug x 5 testers
Grand C-MAX w/c 15 Aug to c4 Sept x 5 testers
Focus w/c 12 Sept to c2 Oct x 5 testers
If selected your name and contact details would be passed to the team at Ford who would make arrangements to deliver the car on a convenient day and time to suit you.

Yay I got the Grand CMax too. Have just noticed there's actually 15 cars being tested in total so that puts paid to DH's theory that Ford will fall in love with our kids and let us keep the car
. Haircuts all round though, I think LOL.
I got a Cmax too, I'm so excited! I never even get chance to enter let alone get picked for the good tests. silkstalkings I was kind of hoping that would be the case too - everyone loves DS's hair
Really gutted for everyone who didn't get picked

Glad i'm not the only one it's worse than waiting for Christmas this.
Farm meeting was grand thanks...30 odd 5 year olds having fun! (am having a 
now, though!)

I got a call this afternoon and an email to say the car is being delivered Wednesday
When will the feedback thread be up? (please note the newest car I've ever had was about 6 years old so there may be some over-excited gushing to begin with )
