We have another exciting product test for you - we are looking for 40 Mumsnetters who don't already have a Wii at home but would like to take part in "My First Wii Challenge" with Nintendo.

Nintendo say they "are keen to offer Wiis to 40 MN families to encourage them to spend fun time together as a family as well as give them the opportunity to test out some great games". If you already have a Wii, please look out for the feedback thread for this project as Nintendo would like to hear your views too (in exchange for a prize draw Grin).

If you are selected for the test you'll be sent a Wii console, handsets and nunchucks for all the family plus the following games:

uDraw GameTablet with uDraw Studio
Mario Kart
Kirby's Epic Yarn, and
Just Dance Jnrs

We'd then like you to take part in 4 weekly challenges with the Wii. This will involve playing with one game per week and adding your feedback to a thread on Mumsnet.

The challenge will start week commencing 4 July and last for 4 weeks - so please only apply if you are able to add feedback every week in July.

Ideally we're looking for MNers in the UK with at least 2 children.

After the challenge is completed and you have added at least 4 lots of feedback you will be able to keep the console and games for your family to enjoy.

In addition, we will need 10 of the families selected to film themselves and their family playing with the Wii. These videos will be used on the Nintendo pages on Mumsnet in the autumn and possibly elsewhere (they will be hosted on YouTube). If you are willing to undertake the video element please indicate this on the form link below. You will be supplied with a FlipCam (which will need to be returned). You will be briefed on filming requirements but it shouldn't be too onerous.

To sign up please add your details here

Good luck and many thanks

I made a spelling mistake further up.

I bet Ann is sitting at home surrounded in Wii boxes with a Wine in one hand, list in the other & a fag hanging out of her mouth..

"feshing Bohica can't even spell their, off the pissing list you go wa wa wa wa"

SharonGless · 27/06/2011 22:34

Am having to give in and call it a night. Have had half a bottle of wine on a school night and been up since 5am.

Night all those who are keeping the vigil going

PippiLongBottom · 27/06/2011 22:38

Loving Bohica's imagery of Ann at home a la Waynetta Slob.

I once worked with a women called Ann, who was very slim with shirt dark shiny hair and one of those crazy Burnley accents.

In my head, Ann looks like her.

Bohica · 27/06/2011 22:51

I imagine Ann to look like an over worked social worker. She has a very kind heart but to many mn'ers cases on her hands
Her diet consists of mars bar, bensons & wine bought in a box that she keeps in her lounge whilst Ebaying Wii consoles in her very little spare time

fivegomadindorset · 27/06/2011 23:06

Nothing, may have to resolve to the preloved ones I saw on sale in Game today.

Neverlandpirate · 28/06/2011 00:48

Couldn't sleep so thought I would check in again...still no news??

Oh well, shall take a Nytol and try to go back to bed then now that the local teenagers have quietened down outside...maybe they are off to play with their wii's?

Night night and sleep tight Ann :)

I think we might all just pass out with excitement when the e-mails arrive, even if we haven't been picked.

40 is a lot of people tho isn't it, so the chances could be pretty high

jasper1980 · 28/06/2011 07:49

That's ok Ann, we love you really. Put your feet up, have a cuppa. Brew

Now, is there anything we can do to make your day that little bit more special? Grin

PippiLongBottom · 28/06/2011 08:26
Adair · 28/06/2011 08:41

OMG, made mistake of checking out uDraw... dd (and ds) would LOVE that! She draws all day and on the computer... Nintendo, i will be able to send you some fabulous pictures (of fire engines - ds, and anything especially fairies and princesses and dinosaurs- dd). Grin

Or does anyone know if there is a PC equivalent?

Neverlandpirate · 28/06/2011 09:24

Morning all, Brew ready, anyone take it with sugar?

Blatherskite · 28/06/2011 09:26

Just checked out the uDraw. My two would love that too and it would save a lot of paper for their scribbles artwork :)

Adair, you can get tablets for the PC. Wacom are a good make. Not sure if there are any games that go with them like the uDraw (I was a graphic designer so only used them for work) but you would certainly get the pen and paper effect for drawing on the PC

MrsSnaplegs · 28/06/2011 09:32

Mm who wants to tell my boss I'm not doing any work todayWink
Daren't look at udraw otherwise I may have to buy a wii anywaySad

DebiTheScot · 28/06/2011 09:42

I'm a bit Hmm about the 'Nintendo may want to give Wii's to 40 people' bit. That doesn't sound set in stone. I wonder if they're giving Anna hard time and changing their minds. Hope not.

PippiLongBottom · 28/06/2011 09:42

Have looked at Udraw. Ugh. This is harsh isn't it. Mine would love that.

neverlandpirate mines black, weak please.

DebiTheScot · 28/06/2011 09:44

Oops got my quote wrong. It was 'are keen to' that I didn't think sounded set in stone.
