We have another exciting product test for you - we are looking for 40 Mumsnetters who don't already have a Wii at home but would like to take part in "My First Wii Challenge" with Nintendo.

Nintendo say they "are keen to offer Wiis to 40 MN families to encourage them to spend fun time together as a family as well as give them the opportunity to test out some great games". If you already have a Wii, please look out for the feedback thread for this project as Nintendo would like to hear your views too (in exchange for a prize draw Grin).

If you are selected for the test you'll be sent a Wii console, handsets and nunchucks for all the family plus the following games:

uDraw GameTablet with uDraw Studio
Mario Kart
Kirby's Epic Yarn, and
Just Dance Jnrs

We'd then like you to take part in 4 weekly challenges with the Wii. This will involve playing with one game per week and adding your feedback to a thread on Mumsnet.

The challenge will start week commencing 4 July and last for 4 weeks - so please only apply if you are able to add feedback every week in July.

Ideally we're looking for MNers in the UK with at least 2 children.

After the challenge is completed and you have added at least 4 lots of feedback you will be able to keep the console and games for your family to enjoy.

In addition, we will need 10 of the families selected to film themselves and their family playing with the Wii. These videos will be used on the Nintendo pages on Mumsnet in the autumn and possibly elsewhere (they will be hosted on YouTube). If you are willing to undertake the video element please indicate this on the form link below. You will be supplied with a FlipCam (which will need to be returned). You will be briefed on filming requirements but it shouldn't be too onerous.

To sign up please add your details here

Good luck and many thanks

Just wondering if I could borrow someone else's finger nails as I don't have any left myself to bite Smile

Hope you had a lovely weekend Ann, and I agree that you are looking lovely..that colour really suits you.

Brew anyone? Just baked some shortbread if anyone fancies some while we wait?

Adair · 27/06/2011 12:15

Am SO trying to pretend I am not waiting to hear...

ihavenewsockson · 27/06/2011 12:22

5inthebed · 27/06/2011 13:14

PippiLongBottom · 27/06/2011 13:17

I'm sure it's all of us. Come on Nintendo people, pleeeease.

Neverlandpirate · 27/06/2011 13:18

Join the club 5inthebed and pippi.... off now to make lunch...maybe the saying 'a watched teapot will never boil' will work on this case, and when I return we will have heard good news?...

PippiLongBottom · 27/06/2011 13:21

I'm doing the same Neverland, although ooh, I appear to be here and not in the kitchen?? Grin

DebiTheScot · 27/06/2011 13:23

I've checked the thread and emails several thousand times today too Grin
Have decided I won't get it as youngest dc is only 2. That way I wouldn't quite as gutted if I don't get it!

PippiLongBottom · 27/06/2011 13:26

My youngest isn't two til next month. He can work my iphone a treat though.

SeenButNotHeard · 27/06/2011 13:43

Meh! No news - I have not felt this impatient since I was convinced that I would be getting a new bike for Christmas and snuck downstairs early to check... only to discover that I had no bike and a rather second hand looking pram instead.

I can still taste the disappointment - please do not leave me feeling like that again MN and Nintendo people Wink

SeenButNotHeard · 27/06/2011 13:43

every ever

5inthebed · 27/06/2011 14:23

I'm off to get the DC from school. Thank god I receive emails on my phone.

AnnMumsnet · 27/06/2011 14:32

I've got to go out now before I melt (though no doubt will melt outside too...) - so will not be any news for a bit - I am really trying to be able to email all testers with full info later on today - guides honour I am (as always) doing my best !

Still no news?

PippiLongBottom · 27/06/2011 14:53

I cannot cope with the suspense! Going to school now too. Will continue refreshing from my phone Grin

ihavenewsockson · 27/06/2011 15:12

I'm going to feel so stupid if we're not selected!

PippiLongBottom · 27/06/2011 15:13

newsocks why??? I'll just be disappointed. Sad

ihavenewsockson · 27/06/2011 15:16

I'll be disappointed, but feel stupid for having posted today and appearing over-eager!
Like the noisy child in class that gets picked last Wink

grinningbee · 27/06/2011 15:19

Anyone self-combusted yet? Grin

Neverlandpirate · 27/06/2011 15:26

She was a brave eager pirate, and will be missed.

NEWSFLASH...apparently she could be reserected by a play on a wii?

PippiLongBottom · 27/06/2011 15:33

I have no shame me, I won't feel stupid.

That doesn't mean that you can't pick me, natch.

Adair · 27/06/2011 15:48

Nah this is like the lottery to me. ie I know I (prob) won't win but can't stop me dreaming!!
