Warburtons have launched two new products - Square(ish) Wraps and Sandwich Thins and they're looking for 30 Mumsnetters to sign up to try them and come up with some [hopefully!] exciting recipes. Here's what Warburtons say about the two products:

"We've created Square(ish) Wraps and Sandwich Thins - top, roll or fold our Square(ish) Wraps with your favourite hot or cold fillings to create tasty lunchtime options or quick and easy suppers to keep the whole family happy. Warburtons Sandwich Thins are the new 'skinny' bread on the block and can be topped, filled or toasted with whatever takes your fancy. With 100 calories per Thin, they are ideal as a light lunchtime option."

For more information about the products, including nutritional and allergy information, please click here.

Warburtons would like testers to come up with recipes using the products, post them on a feedback thread on Mumsnet and then email us photos of your creations for possible use on the Warburtons page on Mumsnet (coming soon!). Selected testers will be sent a hamper containing the two products, shopping vouchers to buy ingredients for their recipes and a few other goodies.

The best recipes will then be chosen to feature on the Warburtons page on Mumsnet and all those who submit a recipe and photo will be entered into a competition to win an adventure weekend at a UK theme park for their family. All testers who put a recipe on the thread (as well as any other feedback they want to give about the products) will also be entered into a prize draw to win a £150 voucher for M&S.

This product test is open to all UK Mumsnetters who are available to take part in the next couple of weeks. If you are selected for this project, the hampers will be sent out next week and we'd like testers to use the product and tell us about their recipes in the next week or two.

If you are interested in taking part please sign up here.

Thanks
MNHQ

curlywurlycremeegg · 11/03/2011 10:58

Ohh, just got my box, the sandwich thins look great, my DC only eat the sandwich filling normally as the bread is a bit "overwhelming"!

Blatherskite · 11/03/2011 11:00

C'mon postman... Another 40 minutes and he'll be missing me as I got to pick DS back up again!

Blatherskite · 11/03/2011 11:01

"go to pick" Must replace the batteries in this keyboard

MrsKitty · 11/03/2011 11:11

Hooray! Thank you MN Grin.

Postie just delivered a box of goodies to me. Think you might have a problem with your emails MNHQ as I didn't get one either...checked my junk folder and everything Confused.

Oooh...what to create for the DC later? Think the wraps will make good pizza, perhaps.

thecatatemygymsuit · 11/03/2011 11:46

Thanks MN - hamper just arrived, thought I was signing for my new phone but this was equally exciting! Smile.
Will get testing...

AnnMumsnet · 11/03/2011 11:46

mrskitty - do email us (insight @ mn . com - but with full mn name and no spaces) and then you could add to your safe list? Don't know where these emails go when they don't get delivered....!? Confused

Hi,

I've just got a box too and definitely no e-mail, have checked everywhere it might be!

Love the square wraps, SO much tidier! The mess DH makes with the round ones is ridiculous, let alone DS.

EduStudent · 11/03/2011 12:32

I just got an unexpected delivery too! (Didn't get an email either)

T'was actually all the more lovely for it Smile

Blatherskite · 11/03/2011 12:34

I seem to be the only one that got an e-mail and funnily enough - no box yet Sad

Raced the postman home and saw him on the way so I know we made it but he hasn't called in here.

Blatherskite · 11/03/2011 12:34

OOh, as I typed that he arrived :)

TheSkiingGardener · 11/03/2011 12:38

I know what you mean Edustudent 'twas a very exciting thing to happen on a dull Friday afternoon!

FourFortyFour · 11/03/2011 12:41

Box has just arrived!!

I didn't get an email though I have told MN I have changed it and it still goes to my old address.

AnnMumsnet · 11/03/2011 13:05

I did not get an email but I did get a box! Thank you...... reminds me to dig out camera!

BornToFolk · 11/03/2011 13:20

I got an email yesterday and the box arrived this morning.
I am ridiculously excited. I've already started planning recipes in my nice new notebook and I'm going shopping for ingredients on Monday. Yum!

whomovedmychocolate · 11/03/2011 13:22

I have btw checked my spam box and you aren't in it Ann. You are on my safe list already from a previous trial.

DD is having sausage chicken and cucumber with ketchup in a wrap. Her choice Hmm - it's going down remarkably well considering she normally eschews sangers.

AnnMumsnet · 11/03/2011 13:50

How odd...you going to do a chocolately one ?!!

OP posts:
Blatherskite · 11/03/2011 13:56

Ooh, I got a huge pot of Nutella in for Pancake day - we could do chocolate....:)

thecatatemygymsuit · 11/03/2011 14:04

Ok so far we have had ham, gruyère and cucumber (dd) and tuna, mayo and spring onions (me) in the square-ish wraps. Delicious!
Kind of a cross between a tortilla and soda bread, somehow. Is that even possible? Plus I liked the pleasing square-ness of them, it appealed to my inner neat freak.
Failed to take pics as camera not charged but will have it primed for our post-supermarket shop.
