Columnist and author Tony Parsons will be joining us here on Monday 6th October from 9-10pm for a live chat. Tony's sixth novel, 'My Favourite Wife' has just been published and is described by The Independent as 'a much bigger, more ambitious book' than million-selling 'Man and Boy'. If you can't make the chat you can post your questions in advance here.
Hope to see you here on Monday.

he's not Tony Hart either, Tutter, if that's where you're going next

Hmm

You know MP don;t you

But why pick on breast implants - that figure will also include women who have had some sort of reconstructive surgery after cancer. Even aside from that, is isn;t a black and white issue. For what it;s worth, I think feminism should not be about dictating to women what they should or should not do. Feminism is there to serve women and not vice versa. Perhaps it is becasue many have lost sight of this that feminism is losing supporters in drives. Do you think Germaine Greer, a woman I admire greatly, would balk at the suggestion that feminism needs to look within as well as without, to gleen what might be going on today?

The world and the women in it has moved on somce the 60s. They fought to make the lives of women better today but it seems sometimnes that the freedoms women do have today are rather resented becasue we didn;t all renounce our femininity but began to rejoice in it.

Dear Mildmanneredjanitor - no, you are missing something - Man and Boy didn't rip off Kramer and Kramer - it ripped off my life. If only it was as easy as you make it sound, i could have saved myself so much heartache - THANKS FOR YOUR QUESTION. Ton y xxxooo

So has anybody here read Slam? By Nick Hornby? Tony Hawk - singular - skateboard man - is in it, just to confuse things (& Tutter) further.

Tony P, have you read it? I love Nick H & I was really disappointed (a first)

Red Bull makes your blood sticky, apparently. You're at higher risk of a heart attack after drinking one for some hours.

[Mumsnet health advice as well, Tony - you lucky barsteward]

Just drink vodka.
