It is one o clock in the morning, I need the night shift to mind my worries whilst I sleep....

I am 50% of the way through chemo. (second time around)(different primary)

My DS (18) has just been diagnosed with depression I think me being diagnosed again was the tipping point.

Due to above I am having to delegate Christmas, it will get done, it did before just not my way.

DH retiring in three years, should be more than enough to live on, but at the moment I am worrying (Like I couldn't worry about that closer to the time)

Sausage rolls, my job, ditto mince pies.........if they don't happen my DH and my DS will suck it up. Just me worrying.

DS struggling in college and have to go to a meeting on Wednesday

So if some of the night shift would like to come and mind my ,worries whilst I attempt to sleep, it would be gratefully received.

Feel free to add your own, just writing that down has helped.

I think I visited one of your threads - were you the lady with the poorly kitten in a bowl? And there were maybe two kittens? How are the lovely wee things doing now? It must have been a stressy time for you - hopefully now you will have some time to be kind to yourself x

@NumbersStation Oh bless you, yes. The kittens were bought to make me feel better and did not quite work out that way at first! We've been through the cat flu, giardia and mycoplasma, but they're coming right, and in fact at 3 this morning I had one of them under my arm cuddling up to me.

The life stuff is going to get worse before it gets better, but I'm so glad I found this lovey thread.

I’m so glad that the fluffy ones are doing well now - it must have been a worry when they were so poorly. They are properly gorgeous and I was smitten.

I’m sorry that the life bit is tricky for you at the moment but there are a lot of worry guardians here for you in your time of need/need to sleep.

At the end of November my 20 year old son beat me black and blue.

The police had enough evidence to press charges...and the CPS agreed

I was told the court date today. I've been ill.

I've not slept in 2 months...can some one please hold it for me.

Every one was so kind to me last night (still dont know how to tag) and I managed to sleep after offloading and some kind words! So im clocking in......I have just got home from work, and I will be up for a couple of hours.
If anyone needs me to mind a few worries for an hour or two, me and the cat have room on the couch. The house is peaceful and calm and we can keep an eye in them.

I’m here too. We got a blue apron delivery so that’s what’s for dinner. Worries are welcome to join.

I’m away to my bed but plenty of space for stuffing worries under my mattress. And the mattress is struggling under my bulk so extra stuffing wouldn’t go amiss!

Me and the cat are also signing in for the night watch. Havelock enjoys pouncing on the worries to keep them under control.

Being in deepest darkest Forrin, I am still at work so a bit of time left for any overtime worries to come share my commute - have to breathe in though, the train is mostly crowded! - and pull up a seat at the dinner table, if they mind their manners. And don't annoy the cat too much.

I’m signing in with my not so little furry friend. We’ve got a space cleared on the bed for all your worries. And as there’s only ever me and the cat in a king size there’s plenty of room. Hand them over and Havelock will guard them for you while you sleep.

I feel your pain. I have a fairly impressive beard that soon gets out of control if I don’t get it threaded regularly. My DD has promised to pluck them for me should I ever get to the point where I can’t control it myself.

I have only a 3 hair white beard. 3 hairs that go from sub skin to sticking out 3inches like the prongs in a fork in about 3 hours.

Think shaggy out of Scooby doo. But just his chin. I weigh about the same as shaggy, Fred, Velma, daphne, scooby and scrappy all together.

May I beg you not to get a lighted magnifying mirror from Santa? My god, the things you see when you have light and can see close up what you haven't seen in years.

Suffice to say it is now living in a dark cupboard. 😳
