I have heard that if you give a cat a kiss whilst infected and then someone else kisses the cat they can be infected from the virus you left behind in your saliva from the kiss as well as having a nasty case of cat-scratch fever if the cat feels over-kissed

Blimey, is cat kissing common? If I tried to 'kiss' either of my wild felines, I would require a trip to ER... As for tummy tickling? Hell no. Wouldn't dream of attempting that move....

YetAnotherSpartacus it was just last week I heard something about not kissing pets because things are uncertain. They probably can't catch the virus, but since hearing that, I'm just being cautious about kissing them. They'll be fine, I just want to be careful, that's all.

Are we double daring Grumpy to kiss TC now?

I don't kiss cats (I have been known to rub noses with them though ).

All is very peaceful with the cats at present - TC really does seem to think he lives here.
