I hope the literary TC will not object to being referred to as a thing.

BovaryX · 16/12/2019 13:38

TC, The Thane of Cawdor, His Most Regal Stripyness has received the accolade he deserves!

saltysally · 16/12/2019 17:49

Hooray. It's well deserved, Grumpy.

7Worfs · 16/12/2019 18:09

Next step - a photobook (is that a thing?) deal. Working titles:

TC and me
The trials and tribulations of TC
The TC who really wanted to come to tea
The taming of TC

AnniePankettonne · 16/12/2019 18:44

Well done @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats and TC !

YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/12/2019 19:11

Ooooh yes, TC would be perfect as the tiger who came to tea! :).

mathanxiety · 16/12/2019 19:19

He's the tiger who tried and tried and tried to come to tea.

Excellent news. This thread is coming along very well. I do like TC as Thane of Cawdor. It is very appropriate.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 17/12/2019 09:43

I quite like the Tiger who tried and tried to come to tea :)

FishingPaws · 17/12/2019 16:44

I've been reading these threads to the tune of Macavity from Cats...

He's gorgeous though

Singlewhiteguineapig · 17/12/2019 23:28

Found it..... TC Nutkin? Grumpy- owl?

On the first day, the squirrels offer Old Brown “three fat mice” and all of them (except Nutkin) bow down before the owl: “Old Mr. Brown, will you favour us with permission to gather nuts upon your island?” But Nutkin scorns such obsequiousness from the start, preferring to dance up and down and demand that the owl answer a riddle – the first of eight rhymes which punctuate the story. The owl studiously ignores Nutkin and shuts his eyes, saying nothing.

Haven't seen TC for a few days but 15 minutes ago heard him and Karl having a right barney outside. No photos (too dark) but the little stripey sod was slapping Karl while they were both under one of the cars.
No manners that TC.
Karl is now back inside and apparently completely unbothered by the fracas.

Any sign of the inimitable Thane of Cawdor? Is he enjoying the festive season?

AllYouGoodGoodPeople · 21/12/2019 19:10

I found out yesterday that the Evil Cat that wants to live in my house is part-Bengal Grin

AnniePankettonne · 21/12/2019 19:24

I love that photo where he is standing on wood remnants and looking in standing at FULL length/ height.
Did TC lug all those bits of wood to the window? 🤔

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 22/12/2019 13:53

I think the photo of TC standing on the wood and looking in the window is my favourite too. Grin.

So he was round this morning saying hello to Basil, followed by nonchalantly having a wash.

He is so persistent.

7Worfs · 22/12/2019 14:13

He’s adorable. Shame looks can be so deceiving.

CassandraCross · 22/12/2019 16:10

I think the photo of TC standing on the wood and looking in the window is my favourite too.

That series of photos as he edged ever closer to his goal were fabulous, my absolute favourites, the final one as he extends to his full height to peer in the window is just priceless! I raise my hat to you Grumpy for capturing such an excellent set of action TC pictures.

The move to Classics is well deserved - TC, Grumpy and all the gang preserved forever as legends in the MN Classic Folklore. Have you made TC and his partial owners, your NDNs aware of this supreme accolade?

We must agitate for this thread to be awarded the same prize in due course, which means you will have to continue to fill it with more pictures and tales of TC, it's a tough job but someone has to do it and that someone is you Grumpy.Grin.

PS any chance of bedecking TC in a nice Santa hat or reindeer antlers for a festive photo shoot? (she says whilst running away and cackling evilly at the thought of the carnage that will follow if anyone attempts to 'dress' TCGrinGrin)

AnniePankettonne · 22/12/2019 17:17

@CassandraCross 😼

YetAnotherSpartacus · 23/12/2019 08:01

Poor TC ..the look of pleading on his little face ...

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 23/12/2019 13:35

So LSF as I've renamed him (Little Stripey F**ker) is definitely on form today.

Miaowing outside the back door so I went to say hello - he accepted a couple of strokes then hissed and lashed out.
