If you keep tea tree oil in med cupboard it takes the pain right out of cat scratches.

I used to use it loads on dh when Asbo was a kitten.

Thanks for sympathy and hints for the TC mauling. To be honest I've had cats for so long that I just accept the odd savaging as part of the deal.

They do have mild run-ins occasionally (especially Sybil and TC) but they usually choose to ignore each other and pretend they haven't seen each other.

I am laughing imagining them pretending not to have seen each other Grumpy. ‘Oh, TC, I was miles away, just thinking about some cat treats. I didn’t realise you were on the doorstep/water butt/table etc.’

Oh bloody hell.
Just going to bed when Basil launched himself at the window and started growling at a black and white cat who was staring in.
Never seen this cat before, but we were woken up by a scuffle in the wee small hours yesterday and assumed it was TC and Lenny - NDN told us today that he'd heard it and TC had been inside at the time.
