TC part 1

No - no mice, voles, baby rats or birds. In fact no Valentine gifts at all (I feel bereft ).

TC was around quite a bit yesterday - scratching at the front door to get in. He also tried to follow Karl into the house at one point - Karl was unimpressed.

Thanks for asking - actually the Thames has behaved here and hasn't even come into the garden yet. So there are no cat restrictions at present (ours went stir crazy last time we had floods here).

TC has had a couple of run-ins with Karl in the last week but nothing else newsworthy .

Maybe Sybil backed Karl into a corner and told him to start pulling his weight with the TC problem?.

Re leap year references. Curiously Sybil went out for a constitutional this morning. Asked to come back in 10 minutes later in rather a soggy state. DS2 opened the door for Sybil to enter, pursued by a bear TC.
So, you never know!

But did DS2 let him in?

Certainly not

TC is now at the back of the house. If this is his way of trying to impress Sybil then I'm unimpressed.

It may have been a mistake saying hello to him .

As far as he's concerned, it's a mistake every time you don't let him in.

TC and Basil had a minor argument outside today. I think they decided that squaring up to each other, but actually doing nothing was the best way forward. Sorry for rubbish photos - taken through a glass door.

Basil then decided to come back inside and observe from behind glass

I love the body language between those two, especially TC's narrowed eyes 😑 😾 I can only imagine Basil's smug face once he got back indoors 😼
