Tomorrow Princess Juliet will be marrying Mr Peregrine Banksbrook. The ceremony will take place at Ruggington Cathedral because let's face it we don't have any other Playmobil churches and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Ruggington, assisted by the Dean of Lowbeach-on-Sea, with an address given by the Bishop of Highbath, the Right Reverend Balthazar Browne.

The ceremony will be followed by a carriage procession, and a reception in the grounds of Roundwood palace.

In Ruggington, the streets are being cleaned ready for tomorrow.

Thank you So Much!

Playmobile aeroplane reduced to £20 in Sainsbury's toy sale. Possible royal tour?

PhilomenaButterfly · 17/10/2018 09:53

Aren't there 2 Royal Nephews now?

PhilomenaButterfly · 17/10/2018 09:53

Great Nephews?

Yawnsy · 17/10/2018 10:18

SoMuchToBits Please do a Christmas story.
Forget about the household chores, work, cooking, pets, commuting, phone in sick, tell them you need compassionate leave, call the in-laws and ask them if they can help out childcare. Cancel any social engagements.
An Agatha Christie Christmas special might suit all those v posh people?

PhilomenaButterfly · 17/10/2018 10:21

Ooh yes! Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot?

AviatorShades · 17/10/2018 12:10

Hello everybody! I looked in here earlier, couldn't find the thread, so wondered if MNHQ had already moved it to Classics - its eventual destination to be revisited FOREVVA!!Aren't we lucky? I'm going to be invaded by a couple of Little People in Nov.and the tale of The Wedding is going to be such a treat for themSmile
So I moseyed over there, couldn't find it BUT I got drawn in to reading 11 pages all about Graeme the budgie- as you doGrin
Wondering if, perhaps, Bits might be up for a traditional Pantomime (after those pesky RL activities are over. Wink.)All must take up such a lot of time, tho... I'd deffo want to see a return of the Baddies - those two spiv men who gatecrashed the party? Only need bags labelled SWAG on their backs...perfect fitGrin

SoMuchToBits · 17/10/2018 12:47

shouldwe, thanks for the tip about the reduced price aeroplane, but we already have two Playmo aeroplanes (and airports to go with them), so I think we are sorted in that department. A tour might be interesting, might have to think of destinations...

I might see what I can do for Christmas though, as I do have some Christmas type sets.

Aviator, no the thread hasn't been moved yet - hope they don't forget! I have plenty of baddies (and swag bags, although they are not labelled as such), also have fairies, can probably find a few other panto type characters, but would need a theatre/village hall to stage a panto...

Hi Bits, I've got my finger hovering over the Report button....want me to alert MNHQ now?

SoMuchToBits · 17/10/2018 17:05

It has been moved now!

Here are the three Royal Weddings we've done - which dress do you like best?

SoMuchToBits the new Royal Nephew, born yesterday.

SoMuchToBits · 17/10/2018 23:44

Ah, that Royal Nephew! Well, in Playmoland, the Duchess of Ruggington's sister Amelia is in a relationship, but hasn't yet had children. So no nephew yet, I'm afraid!

I've never heard of the Playmobil people but this is brilliant

TheMadGardener · 22/10/2018 23:38

This was genius. I hadn't come across the previous Playmoland threads. Is there a link to the election one, or has that been deleted?

SoMuchToBits · 23/10/2018 19:50

Thank you for your kind comments. Many of my previous Playmobil threads have been preserved in Classics, thanks to kind MNers who have nominated my threads. I think a couple of exceptions have been one election which remained in Chat and has been lost, and the stuff I did for the PlaymOlympics in 2012. MNHQ asked me to do this, and used it for some kind of page at the time, but it was never a thread as such.

Here's a link to the original election thread in 2011 where Norman the Foreman was elected as PM. Unfortunately, as this was in the days before you could post photos directly onto a thread, you can't see the photos any more. They were in my profile, but it seems as if you can't click on anyone's photo to view their profile photos any more.

Thank you bits. You win the entire internet.

SoMuchToBits · 23/10/2018 20:13

Haha, Fuzzy, I'm sure I don't!

For anyone interested, Adrian the Returning Officer in the original election thread is none other than Captain Adrian Banksbrook, the father of the groom in the most recent Royal wedding.

And sorry, it was 2010, not 2011 where Norm made his first MN appearance!

And these were the candidates at the election.

Norman the foreman (tea drinking party), Bossy Ross (lifesaving party), Michael the beach policeman (law and order party), Jack Jellyhead (legalise robbery party) and Father Christmas (Christmas every day party).
