I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

may she rest in peace. How shocking. Her stories about her days were always so interesting and couldn't make it up funny. My thoughts are with her family

I loved reading CTK's stories from her amazingly colourful life; she had such an engaging way with words.

I never posted on her threads, but loved reading them. She'll be really missed by so many.

We didn't always see eye to eye but she had a terrific sense of humour and from her posts you could build up quite a picture of her and her life in her village. I think she will be missed by a whole community as well as her loved ones.

Do you remember when she made the newspapers when she was drink and woke up in th morning to find she'd video on some Japanese ornate eggs but couldn't remember?

It was hilarious.

Must of been a terrible shock for her loved ones.

Meningitis is such a cruel infection when it strikes.

Utterly shocked. Keith was always such a warm, fun poster - her stories of her dickhead boss, lovely dog and bonkers neighbours were always so genuine and amusing.

I never knew her in RL, or even interacted with her much on MN, but I 'knew' her here - one of the true characters.
That's so sad.
I can't even bring myself to say RIP, because she was far too young to go.

Raising a [glass] to Cat

Damn. I'm sorry to hear this. So sudden. I remember her trapped on a crappy holiday in Tunisia on a hotel balcony with only a scabby wild cat for company. My condolences to her husband and children - this must be such a shock.
