I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

I was so shocked and saddened to read this - a real gut-punch feeling.

I enjoyed Keith's stories so much. Her warmth and humour just shone out of her writing. She was something really special.

I'd long realised she lived near me but facebook has made me realise who she was IRL and that our Dd's are friends. So sorry for her family. She'll be a massive loss to our community and mumsnet

Ah her little boat Grin that was one of my favourite stories of hers. She was so excited.

She had such a way with words, so vibrant - she must have made the world of everyone around her so colourful and joyful. Such sad news. Condolences to all who knew her irl and to all of her family

Another one shocked and saddened at the news. You always knew if you were reading one of KTC's threads you would end up smiling, she had such a great way with words and came across as so much fun. No many names I remember on MN but hers was one of them.

I'm stunned to read this. I loved CTK's posts, and she had such a way with words.

Her warmth shone through in her writing. You just knew she would be a great person in real life.

I'm so very, very sorry. Sincere condolences to her family and all who were lucky enough to know her in real life.

I'm gutted!

CTK was one of my absolute favourite posters. Her threads were always waaaaaaaay out there, I often joked that I'd love to know her in real like because of the crazy weird world she lives in.

I can't believe she's gone.

But then again, this is typical CTK territory...

CTK, I love you, I'll miss you and I'm so sorry we've lost you.

Mumsnet really won't be the same without you.

@MNHQ, could you have a look for her threads and create a CTK section? Just for us to marvel at the crazy world she lived in, and to laugh along with her madcap antics one more time?

Remembered when I woke up this morning and as someone said up thread it was a gut punch moment. I can only image how her family are feeling. Sad

She always came across as one of life's lovely warm funny people.

I think an MN Meningitis awareness for adults campaign would be good.

My DS missed the jab he was supposed to have at school last year - he is 16 - and as he is hates injections he reckons he would take the chance. I wasn't going to let him anyway but will definitely be dragging him for the jab asap.

I'm another who loved her tales. When stuff like that happens to the rest of us we sit with our head in our hands and grumble. CTK saw the bright side of life in all it's glory.

Oh that's sad I always liked her posts she seemed like s really nice and funny person. Hope her family are ok, I feel a bit tearful about it.
