I was in a burger joint in California a couple of weeks ago (had to go over for work - it's a hard life) overhearing the two guys at the next table. One was telling the other that he was certain Obama "was a Muslim" - he could "tell by the way he said the name of that Mosque he went to". These people were ordinary looking and deadly serious. We were not in a redneck area - this is silicon valley.

Its not snide to rip someone for basic ignorance about a system that has elections which are nightly news, for about a year, every four years. Which btw is also the election for the most important man in the world, who is on the nightly news at least once or twice a week.
