Shouting at me in the supermarket

Sorry am on phone so apologies if this makes no sense but he was doing t-Rex in Asda so i slapped his arm (not hard obviously) and he got really cross and said he'd stand however he wants and stormed off. It was really embarrassing as loads of people were staring and he'd told me to remind him anyway! He's acting like nothing has happened now. Aibu to not just let it drop?

Oh I love that this thread has resurfaced; laughing all over again 😂

LinManWellWellWell · 26/07/2020 17:30

Oh my gosh I can’t believe this thread has popped up again! Happy days!

Instatwat · 26/07/2020 17:33

@SixesAndEights

I have availed myself of the OP-only posts feature and I highly recommend it to all of you on this thread!
Same. So funny!
BiggerBoat1 · 26/07/2020 17:34

@Ormiriathomimus

I wouldn't slap a t-rex. They're fecking killers they are! Have you seen their teeth?
Grin
WinnieLowCo · 26/07/2020 17:48

I understood! Everybody's being deliberately obtuse I think.

He is BU

He asked you to remind him not to do it, then got huffy.

Ask him for clarity. Do you want me to remind you not to do it? Do you not want me to remind you not to do it?

Nuanced variables such as who is in the supermarket watching are too much to factor in.

Morgana7 · 26/07/2020 17:52

How do you stand like a t-Rex? Are you talking about your son or partner?

KatherineJaneway · 26/07/2020 17:59

@WinnieLowCo

Ask him for clarity. Do you want me to remind you not to do it? Do you not want me to remind you not to do it?

Clarity from 8 years ago?

alfrew · 26/07/2020 17:59

If you want more of FrankieAnne's slightly surreal world, do an advanced search. The thread about her DH's willie is another classic.

katy1213 · 26/07/2020 18:08

That's why I always shop in Waitrose for the triceratops vegan option.

Verity35 · 26/07/2020 18:10

@alfrew thank you for that just advanced searched. She describes her DH willy as a “blunt and hard object”! Lol Grin

verypeckish · 26/07/2020 18:10

Erm... we sometimes adopt the t-rex pose in this house, usually when someone burps. It has to be a specific sort of burp though, a sort of uuuuurrrrgggghhhp.

Don't ask me why, because I don't know the rules, I just participate as the need arises.

CaptainMyCaptain · 26/07/2020 18:11

Well I've read all the OP's posts and I still have no idea. Confused

Coffeepot72 · 26/07/2020 18:11

Heroin really screws you up

Verity35 · 26/07/2020 18:12

In the willy thread she mentions “never should have asked him to do the Jesus song” what does that mean?

diddl · 26/07/2020 18:17

Why do people revive such threads?

jessstan2 · 26/07/2020 18:19

Was he doing "We like to boogie"? I love that.

LTB.

Coldspringharbour · 26/07/2020 18:20

Christ don’t blame the phone!

Couchbettato · 26/07/2020 18:26

Is this what meth is like?

amusedtodeath1 · 26/07/2020 18:34

GrinGrinGrin thanks for bumping this, so funny.

Witchcraftandhokum · 26/07/2020 18:41

Has there been a vote for classics yet?

ValleyoftheTrolls · 26/07/2020 18:45

This thread has served to remind me how much I loved the Goodies. Why are their shows never repeated on the BBC?

Crankley · 26/07/2020 18:46

Igotthemheavyboobs · 26/07/2020 18:47

@Verity35

In the willy thread she mentions “never should have asked him to do the Jesus song” what does that mean?
I love Jesus, Jesus loves me. God made Jesus, but god didn't make me. Sang whilst whacking himself in the stomach with his Willy in time with the beat Grin
GabsAlot · 26/07/2020 19:20

how was this not in classics

Funguy · 26/07/2020 19:30

Do you mean Tyrannosaurus Rex or Marc Bolan?
I think it would be hard to stand like either. One has small little front arms and big stompy back legs and a huge tail with a brain in it, the other is well, dead.
When Marc was alive, he was quite camp, so is he standing in
a. A stompy way
b. A dead way
c. Like a big girl's blouse
