Yes Rubester have been waiting for the Robster to come and give me the kiss of life

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 03/12/2008 21:45

I didn't loose my mind, it was mine to give away.

I sit and talk to God, and he just laughs at my plans, my head speaks a language I dont understand.

.........and many more of the Robmeisters lines......

Oooohhhh I am very bored!!

Aww, I missed the birthdays. Was there cake?
I have wrapped all my xmas pressies. Well, when I say wrapped what I mean is I bought gift bags fromm poundland and have used those. TRIPS - what about 'thehollyandthe triplets' ?

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 03/12/2008 21:52

Mrs Betty Bored, Bored Street, Bored town, Boredfordshire.

I have put the Xmas tree up.....[big deal emoticon] and written about 6 Xmas cards. I struggle with Xmas.....miss my lads a lot.

But this year HAS to be different. This year we have Lewis Daniel!! I dont want him to think of me as miserable Xmas Grandma. I want him to have fun when he comes to my house. He is coming to see me for the day next week and bringing me a birthday present. Of course he is coming without his mum or dad. Getting on the bus at the end of his road and getting off at the end of our road about 5 minutes later.

I am knackered just with the effort of smiling about tinsel and baubles!!!

MERLYPUSSEDASAFART · 03/12/2008 21:52

Ca't be more bored than me. OH is watching some stuffy programme about the stock exchange and I dont understand a naffin' bit.

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 03/12/2008 21:55

I dont 'do' xmas cards. They are too much of a faff. The office politics of having to send one to everyone even if you dont like them much, chopping trees down to make them, Clintons cards donating 0.0000002p on a £10 box of 'charity' cards, missing the last post, blah, blah, blah. I am (usually) a miserable shite at xmas too but I now have my lovelies to think of. (bought xmas bibs and red tops for them today. Also reindeer slipper/booties thingies. It's the law)

MERLYPUSSEDASAFART · 03/12/2008 22:01

Oh yes Rubes. Clean, ironed, egyptian cotton sheets every day. You could eat toast in bed in the moring and drop crumbs and they wouldnt be there when you got back in at night coz the sheet fairy would've visited and changed the bed. Bliss. BTW our GSD had the nickname of Roobs. Makes me smile when your name comes up. I am going to bed now in case this programme OH is watching bores the very tits off me. Night night.

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 03/12/2008 22:04

Night Merly xx

If I was rich I would have lashings and lashings of my favourite perfume - Guchi Rush.....the lovliest scent in the whole world. I would have short fat clothes made for me in the hope that I wouldn't look short and fat anymore. I would have a facelift and the finest haircut in the world.....and I would give the Robster 2shillings and 6pence (half a crown) to do rudities with me

estarofwonder · 03/12/2008 23:39

And hire Peter Kay to come and have Christmas dinner with you of course. If that didn't perk your Christmas Day up, I don't know what would.

You could sit on the emergency churs and afterwards dance to YMCA...

estarofwonder · 04/12/2008 00:03

We had some yummity scrummity pictures done at the weekend - have added them onto my profile.

The pupils at Toms high school were told yesterday that it was unlikely that school would be open today! I still insisted that homework was done and he went to bed at the proper time. At midnight he came to the top of the stairs and said 'I hope it snows all night and we get the day off!'

Well, it has rained all night and this morning we have slushy ice. Just been on the schools website and it says 'school is open as normal.'

I now have to try and wake up a very tired, flouncing, bad tempered teenager (yes I know he is only 11) oh what joy, what piggin' joy.

Wish me luck!!!

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 04/12/2008 08:53

OMG OMG OMG It is pouring down here but not melting the thick ice on the pavements. It has taken me almost an hour to walk to and from school - normally takes 15 minutes. All the kids sliding about and falling - worse still walking in the road to avoid falling. It is still really dark as well.

Half way up the steep hill to school I wondered why on earth we were all bothering.

I am wet through my coat and clothes to my skin, bright red hands and face.

That was horrible, hard work.

Its snow central here. I cant get the car up the hill out of the village so had to give up. Working from home. Apparently eveyrone else made it into work so I feel like a naughty schoolgirl.

Did manage to walk the kids down to nursery though!!

Yay! Yay!

I'm sorry, someone had to do it. I just get so excited when the Christmassy smilies come up. Especially 'fangry'

No snow in Morecambe. Sounds like you Ruby (can't remember where you are). Rain, bit of sleet, and very very cold. Brrr.
