Yes I did Momma. I have one to send to you this weekend which needs an instant reply (nothing like forward planning).

Thank you Momma. Been rather overrun with clients being induced and babies popping!

wow, that looks lovely trips, jsut the sort of relaxing retreat you need.

Exams are my downfall I'm fine when I have the info in front of me, but the only things my brain actually retains these days are child related! Any tips would be welcome.

shabster · 19/09/2008 18:07

Write the answers on your shirt cuffs, or up your arms, or just plain cheat and copy from the person next to you

Seriously Chopster - you will be fine I have every faith in you.

Tom has come home with a certificate that says 'Roll of Honour - for Academic excellence in English!!' He is so chuffed. He has more books in his bedroom than our local library.

Must I sit here and eat a 2lb bag of smoky roasted almonds all to myself? Plus a diazapam.........I need some sleep!

MarsLady · 19/09/2008 23:36

So the first party dilemma. DT2 has been invited to what looks like being a fabulous party. DT1 hasn't been invited. I think that the mother may not know that they are twins. I think I'm going to call her in the morning and see if DT1 can go as well, otherwise I'll have to call in her goodmother (godmother but DT1 calls her good.. probably because I'm so bad lol) to take her out for the day before the party happens! What do you think?

triplets · 20/09/2008 00:05

Ok you are all out partying
kale nits, mange tout, sagapo............you know who thats for

shabster · 20/09/2008 08:11

Good morning girls x

Morning Shabby

TKB, I think it's a good idea to have different key workers for your DTS. I mean, I find it difficult not to measure their progress against each other a little bit, so how could any other human not? If you were given the choice, you should take it, IMO.

Well done to Tomster and Chopster!

Chops, when I was doing exams last year, I'd do a few pracice essays on whatever the different topics might be, then from them I'd pick out about five key words for each one. Then, as soon as the exam started, I'd look at the questions and jot down the five key words next to the ones I was going to do, and that releases your brain then - you've got the information there. Then when you write, it should just flow from what you know.

I have no idea if that makes sense! Also, the topics I did were theology and english lit, so law (it is law, right?) may be completely different!

shabster · 20/09/2008 09:08

Being a gran is not what I thought it would be. Not seen any of them for 3 weeks despite ringing and texting. I am being selfish because Dan works long hours and enjoys his weekends with Em and Lew. I find out what they are up to by noseying on Facebook Lew doesn't really know me and that is really sad. They are supposed to be going out again tonight but I am not holding my breath - having re-read this message I sound like a whining MIL - never have my lovely Grans words ever rung so true

'A daughter is a daughter all of her life...but a son is a son till he takes himself a wife.'
